Scarlet saw his red face by looking in one of the other mirrors, and she turned to see what had caused the blushing. Her own face turned red at the sight. Immediately she became very self-conscious and started moving through the maze.

Ivan stared at the mirrors, amused by the way they morphed everything. One made him seem extremely muscular, and he was forced to remind himself that he was not. Soon the walls and ceilings were no longer lined with mirrors. Now the room seemed to be twisted. Ivan stepped quickly and turned around. Scarlet was upside down. Ivan realized what was happening; "I'm upside down...!" He said softly, amazed. This funhouse was turning out to be quite fun after all.
Ivan wandered further along, watching behind him so he wouldn't lose Scarlet. The next room was the most confusing yet; Upside-down staircases went up to uspide-down doors on the ceiling. A ladder stuck straight up in the air from a trapdoor on the floor. A stone platform spanned the length of the room with a door on either side and on either side of the bottom as well. The sight made Ivan rather dizzy.
Ivan grinned. "It's like it's half funhouse and half madhouse." He pointed out, chuckling. "How did they put something this complex together...?" Next room, he decided. He stepped through the doorway. There was an odd sight in this room; In the center was a lightbulb. Everytime the bulb turned lit up, the room went dark, and everytime the bulb turned off the room brightened up. "This place is weird." Ivan decided out loud.
Scarlet laughed. [color=33ff99]"I like this room."[/color] Someone entered as the room darkened. A hand slipped around Scarlet and covered her mouth. She felt herself being pulled through some type of trap door right before a heavy object made contact with the side of her head. All went black and she fell limp in the man's arms.
The room lit up and Ivan could not see Scarlet. His eyes narrowed. He shifted, becoming a dog. He quickly caught Scarlet's scent and followed it to a trapdoor. Changing his arms into those of the mighty gorilla, he ripped it from its hinges. Changing back into a cat-like human, he leapt down the trapdoor. The eyes of a cat had no difficulty adjusting to the dark, making them invaluable if a light was shattered. "Alright!" He called. "I don't know what your problem is, but I'm coming for Scarlet!"
The man cackled. "You'll never get her!" He tossed her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and ran. He made it outside very quickly and wings popped out of his back. He took flight with amazing speed.
Scarlet became aware that she was in the air, and called out to Ivan, using her mind. [color=33ff99]Where are you? Who is this man?[/color] Just then she caught sight of his features and gasped. [color=33ff99]Ivan, get here fast! He....he....[/color] She didn't finish the thought because the man grinned wickedly down at her.
"I see you're awake." They were over the ocean now. He dropped her.
Scarlet became aware that she was in the air, and called out to Ivan, using her mind. [color=33ff99]Where are you? Who is this man?[/color] Just then she caught sight of his features and gasped. [color=33ff99]Ivan, get here fast! He....he....[/color] She didn't finish the thought because the man grinned wickedly down at her.
"I see you're awake." They were over the ocean now. He dropped her.
Ivan had been following in his winged form, attempting to catch the man, but the he dropped Scarlet down toward the ocean. Ivan's eyes grew wild; He had to save her. He dove downward, but she was almost resting in the caress of the waves.
Thinking fast, Ivan recalled the time he went to the aquarium and his parents paid for him to swim with the dolphins.
Ivan dropped into the water shortly after Scarlet and lifted her above the waves as a dolphin. It was difficult to keep her on his back, so he changed into a lifeboat and rowed his oars furiously toward land, carrying his precious Scarlet.
