Eliana cringed. Of all the people she did not want to hurt, Tasha was at the top of the list. Beat her in a fair challenge, sure, but not like this. She was about to say something but decided against it. She had planted both feet in her mouth and shoved her head up her ass enough already.

She did a little smile when Tasha called it her pack. She did have a touch of arrogance in her, but that is part of what it was to be an Alpha.

That smile took full form when Tasha told her about Malina.

"Girl, if this keeps up, you might be able to resurrect the Olcan pack. Although I do not know how your current pack will take that."

The comment of history being incomplete caused her to roll her eyes, "Duh! Do you honestly think he would want anybody to know there was a female who could kick his butt up and down Germany?"

Tasha smiled briefly at the comment. As many issues as they had with each other personally, it was good seeing Eliana again. But this did complicate things.
"I'm not looking to resurrect a pack here. I've been on my own for centuries. On top of that there are already a couple other packs established here and I don't want them thinking we are intruding. That kinda rep I don't need for my gym."
Tasha was finally building her life back up. Her gym was exploding. She was meeting people outside of work. And then there was Avram. Just the thought of him brought a smile to her face before she continued.
"Don't get me wrong, it is really nice seeing you again. And meeting Malina. And of course I'm here for either of you if you need."

Although not quite what she had expected, Eliana was surprised; it was not as bad as she had feared.

She chuckled when Tasha remarked, not wanting to restart her old pack, "That might be a good idea. There's probably is a bunch of Olcan packs out there already, and you got a good thing going on here," she winked at Tasha.

Ah, she saw that smile. One she has had a few times before. Tasha loved and was being loved. She looked down with a small smile and a tear remembering all those that loved and still love her. She had been snatched from death twice, and the life she had now should not have been. Oh, she has had a wonderful life and tried to live it to the fullest in honor of Jewell's sacrifice. Still, one does not cheat death. She was certain one day it will come calling again. This time she will welcome it with open arms.

When Tasha started to talk again, she looked up and wiped away a tear.

Smiling, "As it was, seeing you again. Although that snide remark, I should have left at home. This - Malina - must have been some person to have impressed you. I should meet her someday. Oh, speaking of being here..."

She got out her phone and opened up the area with her number showing it to Tasha, "here is my number if you need to contact me. I am a pretty good healer and paramedic, although not officially here."

She smirked before continuing, "and, if ever you want your butt kicked," she spread her hands and cocked her head with a 'tada!' expression, "I'm your girl."

Tasha almost snorted with a laugh when Eliana mentioned kicking her butt. It was reminiscent of their older selves and Tasha couldn't help but be lost in the moment.
"Oh please, you couldn't then, and you couldn't now."
When Malina was brought up Tasha's face turned to one of contemplation. It was a very interesting situation, and one that Tasha still needed to figure everything out about to know where boundaries were.
"Malina is actual blood. That alone peaked enough of my interest."
Tasha took her own phone out and copied the number down before sending a brief text with her name in it. Number exchange complete, the werewolf handed Eliana her phone back and sighed.
"You're here. I'm here. If you need anything, feel free to ask. I can't promise what I can do, but I'll do what I can."

With Tasha's laugh and retort, Eliana broke out in the biggest shit-eating grin ever. It was good to see Tasha, more or less, back to her old self.

"Now! That's the Tasha I have learned to admire all those years!"

She chuckled, "Back then - definitely! Now - well - not so much."

She added a wink to her grin.

When the mentioning of Malina caused Tasha to become thoughtful, Eliana raised a brow, which was soon joined by the other when Tasha said Malina was blood.

"Realy? I definitely, have to meet her."

Getting back her phone, she paused and asked, "You wouldn't have Malina's phone number?"

She listened and pondered what Tasha must be feeling at the moment. To have two people from her past show up, almost at the same time. With one of them being a relative? She would be overwhelmed and, maybe, a bit apprehensive. Fortunately, the Tasha she knew was of sturdier stuff.

"Let's not forget Malina."

She sighed as well, "It seems that 2021 is going to be an - interesting year - for both of us. I recently became a mom," she rolled her eyes, "and will need all the help I can get. "

Sort of an afterthought, she opened up her phone and pulled up a map of where The Gray raven was, "Do you know how to get to The Gray Raven? This map assumes you know enough about the city to know where to start."

Tasha tapped her fingers lightly on the desk, nails rapping on the hard surface. Malina was an interesting subject. One that Tasha honestly didn't feel exactly comfortable discussing too much until the both of them figured out things between each other.
"I do, but I honestly don't feel right giving her number out without talking with her first. Things are....interesting....between us. A lot we still need to work through."
Eliana casually tossed out that she had recently had a kid. The tapping on the desk stopped as brown eyes looked back to the old member of her old pack, a bit of apprehension obviously showing.
"Oh, uh, congratulations. That's really awesome."

Luckily the subject didn't stick as she asked where the Gray Raven was. "I'm actually pretty familiar with The Gray Raven," she replied and then proceeded to give more detail description of the location and how to get to it.

Eliana got the feeling Tasha wanted this conversation to end, and, truthfully, so did she. She had other things to do, such as giving Jewell a proper farewell and getting drunk. She had planned on getting a good buzz, but with all that happened, a good buzz would not do it.

What Tasha said about Malina also made sense. It takes time for a relationship to form properly, even if it is a friendship.

With a nod, "I understand. You can give her my number - if you think she can handle me. But, by now, you should know I can be tough to handle."

She stopped and did a snort-laugh realizing how that might sound.

Eliana sat back with a bemused look on her face. All she wanted was to give Tasha an idea of how busy she would be. That look on Tasha's face - Eliana did not know what nerve she struck, but it must have been a doozie.

"Ah - thank you."

Now that she knew where The Gray Raven was, she would definitely use it more than once. At the moment, all she wanted was a quiet place to do some serious contemplation - and to have a beer or two. Tasha was not the only one overwhelmed by what has happened.

"Thank you. I am definitely, going to need that."

She smiled and raised her hand, "I promise to stay out of your hair, but if ever you need me, I will try and be here for you."

Tasha let out a long sigh as it seemed things were wrapping up. Eliana seemed like she was still busy and had a lot going on. Tasha could definitely understand that feeling, but couldn't help feeling like she was still pushing her old life away.
"I'm sorry Eliana. This has just been a lot the last few days. I went from no contact for centuries to you and a blood relative coming back into my life."
The werewolf leaned back in her office chair and looked back to Eliana with a small smile before continuing, "But I meant what I said. If you need anything, I'll do what I can. Call it an old lingering alpha habit."

Eliana looked down when Tasha sighed. It has been a long day, and, from the looks of it, it will not be ending soon, at least, not soon enough.

When Tasha started to apologize, Eliana shook her head, "so am I. I should have known better than to think. After all this time, I could rekindle the good-old-days," she frowned, "but, to be honest, the good-old-days were not all that good."

She smiled and nodded at Tasha's comment of uninvited guests, her being one, "Ah - yes, I can relate to that," thinking about the time Uncle Olcan reappeared. "If you want, I can stay away until you are ready for me."

She got up and smiled back to Tasha, "As did I. If you ever need one to watch your back, I will be more than glad to," she shook her head, "I was not there for you - never again."

Heading to the door, she stopped, "Tasha, you are a good leader and alpha. I'm glad to know you."

Even now, she could feel her envy cropping up, but the truth was the truth.

"I don't want you to stay away. That's not my intent. I just....this is just a lot right now."

Tasha stood up as Eliana got up as well. Moving over to the door with her, Tasha had no intention of leaving the office just yet, but at least wanted to see her out. Tasha put on a smile, or at least the appearance of one.

"Please let me know if anyone else happens to show up. I'd rather at least have some kind of notice about it instead of just running into more of my past."
A small amused huff followed her statement. Tasha needed to make the best out of this that she could. They were here, she was here, and nothing was going to change either one of those things. The smile fell a little as Eliana mentioned she was a good alpha.
"Thanks Eliana. I do appreciate that."
