Eliana had a long day registering at Starlight Academy's medical college. She had an ambitious dream to be proficient in all three medical fields: physical, soulish, and spiritual. She started down the path of soulish medicine. But when she told her counselor her dream, they recommended she might want to start with physical medicine since all three have a lot in common, and it was easier to learn the physical side. They figured, if she plays her cards right, it should only take a couple of centuries rather than a millennium.

Well, she was now committed. She had a room in the dorm and a class schedule. Now for some relaxation. She had heard of The Gray Raven and was heading there, but she made a detour to check out the Wolf's Den Gym and see if this Tasha was her Tasha.

Even before she entered the gym, she knew it was her Tasha. That musk was very distinct. Entering the gym, it reeked of Tasha, both the scent and the style. Looking around, she could not see Tasha, but she was not sure she would have recognized her if she did. She was fairly certain Tasha would not recognize her, just coming from a Helstorm concert. She still had the different color streaks in her silver-gray shoulder-length hair and red contact lenses. She did change into her black halter-top and shorts.

Tasha smiled and waved to as someone left from her side with a smile. She had just finished up with a training session with them and was seeing them back to the front when she caught wind.

The scent filled her nostrils without even trying to pick it out of the air. Tasha's eyes narrowed and she sniffed the air intentionally this time. There was no mistaking it, Eliana. Eyes quickly cut around looking for the werewolf she hadn't seen in lifetimes. When she didn't immediately recognize her, Tasha let her nose guide her.

Eventually she narrowed down it's source. Without hesitation, but with a subtle growl, she began striding towards the woman, eyes never breaking from her.

"What're you doing here?"

When Eliana saw a woman with some wolflike features heading towards her through the crowd, she suspected it was her. Although the wolflike features threw her off, that hair stile should have been the clincher.

As Tasha approached, a small smile curled her lips. She did a quick eye-roll when she growled.

With an underlying touch of sarcasm, she replied, "and a good evening to you. Is that a way to greet a long lost sparing pardner, especially one back from the dead?"

She sighed and shook her head, "If you must know, I am here to take courses in medicine to become a doctor. On my way to The Gray Raven, I decided to check out the Sasha I have heard about. I am beginning to regret that last choice."

Cocking her head to one side, she asked, "What of you? From what I see," gesturing around the place, "you have done pretty well for yourself."

Tasha stood up straight, seeming much taller than her height actually was, when Eliana so nonchalantly greeted her as if they had been best of friends. Her arms crossed over her chest with her biceps flexing naturally, and with a little added emphasis.
"Don't play coy. Not here. Not with me."
It had been a long time since Tasha felt she needed to actually exert herself as an alpha. But this was a special case. Eliana wasn't just some member of her former pack. She actually knew Tasha in that life. She had crushed on and pursued Tasha's father. Constantly challenged Tasha herself.
"Don't pretend to be interested in how I'm doing now. Where were you before I was...."
Tasha looked around and realized she was making a scene in her gym. Her employees that always saw her calm and collected, were staring as she was showing a side of her she never showed anyone.
"My office if you want to continue this..."
The werewolf stepped off without hesitation and without waiting to see if Eliana would follow. She opened the door to the office and took up a seat in the nice office chair she had behind the desk. The door had been left open.

Eliana stood there, surprised and confused. She had expected Tasha to be annoyed with her like many times before, but this was blind rage. She could feel her own rage building. Who did Tasha think she was? She was not her Alpha; Delilah was. She stopped the rage from getting any stronger, knowing that no good would come from it. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and counted to twelve.

Before she reached twelve, Tasha stopped raging. When she opened her eyes, she realized why Tasha stopped; everybody was staring at her. Eliana quickly quelched a smirk since that would only make matters worst.

When Tasha asked if she wanted to continue this, she stood there in uncertainty and simmering emotions, both very unpleasant feelings.

She was about to turn and leave, having enough of this, when a strong familiar hand rested on her shoulder, and a deep baritone voice spoke, "you need to resolve this, or neither of you will be free."

She looked over her shoulder, knowing he would not be there. Entering the office, she closed the door behind her and sat down. She knew this would be the hardest thing she has done, especially keeping her sarcasm in check.

In a calm voice, she commented, "you were asking where was I."

There was more going on here that either knew or suspected. Before she said anything else, she wanted the facts.

Tasha had enough time to collect herself in the time it took Eliana to join her in the office. It was hard for Tasha to stay upset for long. It was part of why she had challenged her father in the first place.
Which brought everything back to the moment. Eliana brought up where they had left off allowing Tasha to continue.
"When I challenged and beat my father for Alpha of the Olcan pack, immediately the pack turned on me and exiled me. No one, not a single member, stood at my side. If you cared about how I was doing, where were you when I needed someone the most?"
It was clear by her tone, that she was both hurting and demanding answers. It had been centuries since she had to deal with any of this, and now, without warning, the scab was being ripped off the wound.

Eliana listened, just sitting there with a blank expression, not revealing her emotions or thoughts. The first of which was 'was this it?' Then, when she thought further on it, she could understand the feeling of being abandoned. When Tasha asked where she was, that deep secret she has been hiding for centuries came to the surface. Grief, regret, guilt, and hate, boiled out from it. She closed her eyes as a tear trickled down. Barely able to speak, she choked out, "burying my best friend..."

For several minutes she sat there trembling, trying to hold back the tears and emotions.

"We were sent to investigate the rumors coming from the north. On the way back, Jewell and I were ambushed. She tool a dart that was meant for me." With her eyes still closed, she growled, "she was avenged!" She opened her eyes and removed the contacts, "When I returned, you were already gone. It was then your uncle told me it was you that recommended I go." She looked down, "oh, how I hated you! That was until I realized you could not have known how it would end."

Standing up, she looked Tasha in the eyes, "That is why I was not there. Now I have a question for you. Did you have me sent on that mission?"

It was the not knowing that plagued her the most.

Tasha closed her eyes a took a long slow breath in before exhaling it in the same manner. She listened to every word carefully. This had been the first she had heard anything about this.
"How could I have sent you anywhere when the moment I became alpha I was exiled? I didn't have any say before, it wasn't my place."
The werewolf was doing her best to remain calm. She had gone centuries with hearing nothing. No information about her old pack, and now two people, in as many weeks showed up. There was no way Eliana knew about Malina if she didn't even know about Tasha yet.
"Look. I'm sorry for your loss. I truly am. But you have to see the awkward place this puts me in and my reaction for it."

Eliana waited and listened. When Tasha said she was not the one, she exhaled the breath she was unaware she was holding. Finding another chair, she dropped into it, exhausted.

"I knew," she touched her head, "you could not have been involved, but I had some doubts," she touched her heart.

"I was pretty messed up, and he made it worst. But, I clung to the one truth I could trust: You would never lie. I needed to hear it from you."

She paused with a distasteful look on her face, "I do have some bad news; Uncle Olcan is or was the last time I saw him, the Alpha of the pack."

Tasha's sympathy causes her to smile, albeit with some sorrow, "I sorry for yours. I should have saught you out. But, by the time I left the pack, you were long gone."

But, when Tasha spoke about the awkwardness of her position, Eliana gave her an awkward look, "No, I don't and most likely never will since I am not you. Everything else I know of that day is the lies I heard then and what you just told me now. Even now, I am not completely certain about what happened."

Thoughtfully, "To have a time machine and go back to erase those events. But - then again..."

Looking up to Tasha, she decided to let that idea drop.

Tasha rubbed her eyes and moved her hands to her temples to rub them as well. Why was all this happening now? She had just started getting her life back together, again, when the past came back to seemingly haunt her.
"I know he took over. I had assumed as much when I left that someone would take advantage of the power struggle get their mangy paws on my pack."
She let out a heavy sigh as she tried to think through what else was going to happen. It didn't seem that Eliana expected Tasha to be her Alpha and start a new pack here. Same went for Malina. Did Malina know about Eliana, or the other way around.
"There's another Olcan on the island too. Malina. My great-great-great niece. Or at least I think niece. It seems the history of the Olcan pack being passed down is a bit....incomplete."
