Lucy was not impressed in the slightest. What was supposed to be a not too normal date day for Illia and her turned into a shit show. Illia,-from out of nowhere mind you- invited two strangers to go on a double date with them. All that the red head could think about was why. Couldn't they have just as easily ignored them, or rescheduled? It wasn't as if Lucy was being clingy, but she just didn't want things to go badly for them. Lucy liked Illia, a lot more than other girls that she had been around. There was a very calming spark about her; she was someone that Lucy wanted to explore. There was still so much that they didn't know about one another, and the fact that they had been dating for a month now, meant that they needed to have those kinds of talks. You know, the talks that you stay up for hours for, and ramble on and on about meaningless points.

No, as much as Lucy wanted that to have been this date, it would turn out to be the exact opposite. The girl glanced back at their two tag alongs, before shooting her girlfriend a perplexed look. "Did we really have to bring them along? They don't even look like a fucking couple. More like, two strangers to themselves." She made sure that she was leaned in enough so that their conversation was at least a bit more private. "I feel like they're going to ruin it flower."

Personally, Illia didn't understand Lucy's aggravation at it all. The more, the merrier, right? She beamed charmingly at her date and laid a hand on Lucy's upper arm to placate her.

"Don't be rude, Lulu. They must just be early in the dating process. We're there ourselves, you know." Illia wasn't quiet about her playful, half-hearted scolding. "Now, don't pretend they can't hear you."

She smiled at the other couple. "You have to forgive my love, she was under the impression we would be coming here alone, but, well, after I overheard you two talking I just couldn't resist. They messed up our reservation anyway, gave us an extra two spots. I figured, perfect time for a new friendship, right?"

The two couples had been sat in a private dining area. It was very clear, even at first glance, that this place was expensive. Chandeliers hung from the ceilings; the seats were plush, and soft, live music played from a corner of the far room.

The menu had an extensive list of foods from all sorts of cultures, but it was primarily French cuisine. The price range was not on the side of affordable.

"Don't worry about prices," Illy smiled, "it's on me."
