Since coming to the Academy, Deacon has not often gotten an oppurtunity to enjoy the feeling of being in water. He loved the water, and he wanted to go swimming. On this day, he figured that he should take some time among himself to go for a swim. But where could he possibly find a place to cool off, he thought. Then it hit him. He remembered the lake, just outside of the lawn. Great. So he decided to go there. He put on a red t-shirt and some blue jeans. Then he grabbed his lightweight drawstring backpack and filled it with a pair of red basketball shorts that he used as swimming trunks and a towel. He threw some white sneakers on his feet then proceeded outside.
He made his way to the lakeside. He looked around to analyze his surroundings. Nobody around. He jumped behind a bunch of bushes to change. He grabbed the 'swimming trunks' and towel from his bag, placed his shirt and jeans in the bag, tossed the bag to the side and moved along to the lake itself. He dipped his feet in the surface to test the water's temperature. It was cool, but just right for him. With that, he forced his body into the lake. He shifted his weight and laid back on the surface, allowing himself to float.
