Her confidence boosted slightly when she saw she had been able to cut off some of his hair. It was better than nothing, and far better than what she had done before. Annabelle moved her head to the side so that he wouldn't be able to hit her in the chin, however, his leg did make contact. It didn't hit her bruise, since she had moved her head just before, but it still hurt where it did hit. She winced slightly, but didn't allow the pain to get to her too much. She couldn't, for if she did, she might lose her concentration in this battle.

She aimed a kick at his legs, which she had done earlier, and decided to not use her power again yet.
