Trying to find him

The winged woman exited the school building, feet crunching in some of the melted snow. There was a determined look on her face, and she wouldn't give up until she found who she was looking for. She was wearing a black sweatshirt that had holes in the shoulders for her wings, with a white shirt underneath and sweat pants on her legs. Her sword, of course, was at her side, and her hair — which actually looked dark brown, like it normally was, for once — was pulled back into a bun.

Annabelle looked around. She was trying to find that fallen angel whom she had met in the mountains. He had defeated her... her, of all people! The nineteen year old couldn't bear to lose, and was going to find him, just to prove that she wasn't weak. He had beaten her in three moves in their first fight, then two in the next one. That was completely unacceptable, and she knew she was better than that. She was going to be smart this time and not allow him to just do two or three simple moves and have this be over.

Her head was no longer hurting, and she had been able to fix her shackle so that it was no longer cracked. While there was a rather large bruise on the back on her head that hurt when touched, most of her damage was gone. And so, the nephilim continued to walk, not going to give up until she found him.

Cleanse was in the middle of the lawn just walking threw it was to holy a place for him and he felt distraught here...he wanted to leave unaware he was about to walk into a familiar face he had seen earlier that day...and he knew as soon as he would see this person what they would want...Another fight a fight she could not win but confused him...why would someone keep on fighting battles they could not find a victory with...it would be foolish to fight him and yet...here she was no matter what he did...

As he thought about her he pondered why he was...it was unlike him to think so deeply about anything that was not as serious...she was not even like a burden to him which was even stranger he would normally kill anyone who opposed him or stood in his way...but a strange feeling was almost that he liked to fight her and in a strange way seemed to be bonding ...no...he shook it out of his head a fallen and an angel....no...it wasn't right and his feeling did not matter.

He suddenly sensed a similar presence and looked up his wing covering his arm making it look like an attachment to his clothing more then his half wing however looking at it from his back it was clearly visible...he looked at the familiar girl already knowing how to win this fast...the bruise he made...he knew he made one and could just touch it with one finger and probably send her shivering in pain.

As Annabelle continued walking, she spotted him. How convenient... he was right here where she was walking. Well, at least she wouldn't have to waste her energy searching for him. She continued at her pace, not bothering to speed up and lose more energy. She was going to try and be calm and collected for this — and, if she did end up getting angry, she would only let it fuel her strength. She wouldn't become blind in her rage and lose like she had last time... she refused to bring anymore shame to herself.

"Did you really think you could escape me for long?" she asked him, tilting her head to the side ever so slightly. "I hope you knew I would be back." The woman unsheathed her sword, looked at it for a moment, then returned her gaze to Cleanse. She would beat him this time. She could not allow someone to be better than her, especially a fallen. She may have been part fallen angel, but she wasn't a full one, and therefore wasn't as bad. At least, in her opinion. Sighing inwardly, the nephilim shook the thought from her head, and continued to look at the male.

She cleared her throat, and brushed a few loose hairs behind her ear. "You ready? This time, I can assure you I'll be a challenge."

"Did you really think you could escape me for long?"

He blinked...didn't he just walk away and allow her to catch up...that confusion would replace his words and probably make her angry as he tried to remember...why would he run from her...he had won both fights with a mere minimum effort...and only an amount of three easy separate moves that she couldn't keep up with...She was probably just trying to be confident...oh well

"I hope you knew I would be back."

Well no kidding! He just left her there in her shame after losing twice without even letting her move against him...not to mention that bruise which would prove as an ultimate weakness he would only use it once she would probably mention him cheating but then again it was her fault for not wearing a band or anything to protect herself against it.

He also noticed that her cuff was fixed...He expected as much since she seemed to give up pretty quick after he cracked it ...he had so many ways to beat her...so really it didn't matter what she did if all he had to do was break the cuff, or touch a bruise...

"You ready? This time, I can assure you I'll be a challenge."

Well it looks like this might end up being fun...though it was rare for her to gain so much power after only one meeting...so instead he would just wait...and see how she would fight...

At his lack of a response, Annabelle sighed, her shoulders slumping. He could respond. But, no, he couldn't do what was needed — he had to do the exact opposite. Rubbing her forehead, the female looked back at him, not a hint of annoyance or frustration on her face. She had to suppress any negative emotions for now and remain calm.

The nephilim knew that her head would most likely prove to be a weakness, as would her temper and stubbornness. Hopefully she would last longer than last time, though. She just had to prove to him that she was strong, that she wouldn't be so easily beaten again. It was true; the woman was always out to prove something, but she didn't care.

Instead of wasting anymore time, Annabelle decided to just get this over with. "Well? Will you make the first move, or shall I?" she asked, at least offering him a choice, unlike last time. She wasn't going to rush into this, for that might prove to be another weakness. If he attacked first, she figured she just might have more of a chance.

He knew she noticed him and would obviously want to try again he gave a silent sigh of ignorance that was obviously referring to her and her seemingly endless amount of energy and her obvious attempts to take as much pain as possible in this case...he stood their his wing just hiding the arm that he did not plan to use...he looked at the wing knowing that was the only reason she was always going after him.

Well? Will you make the first move, or shall I?"

A raspy voice held the air with an echoing chill. "You." He said. He was a man of few words to say the least but those words could seem to touch the very soul. He merely waited for her to make her move again his red eyes seemed to linger towards her showing no seriousness but not lacking in the situation's problem! All he would do was wait for her move and if she would not make one he would leave again.

He did not care if she would have more chance she was his oppressor and why would he give her the liberty of attacking first when she was the one always after him when he had no need nor want to fight.

"You."

Well, that plan wasn't going to work, then. Oh, well — Annabelle would just find another way to win this. His voice didn't scare her at all, so at least she didn't have to worry about that. The nineteen year old looked at her sword, and decided that she was, in fact, desperate enough to use her power. Sure, she would most likely go unconscious, but it would be worth it if she could beat him.

With that thought in her mind, her sword began to take on a white glow. It was dim at first, but brightened rather quickly. She was already feeling the tinniest bit weaker, but hopefully she would last. If her power failed her, she wasn't sure what else she could do. She turned her gaze back to Cleanse, and smirked, a cocky and satisfied look upon her face.

Annabelle moved her sword quickly so it was pointing directly in front of her, and a stream of light shot out in his direction. If it didn't end up hitting him and causing damage, maybe it would at least have an affect on his eyes. She would be happy with ruining his sight a bit, for at least that was causing pain.

Cleanse saw it...he had no idea she could do it the first glare caused him to side step it easily and suddenly instead of look at the beam he turned his head so that it was in the blind spot of his eye before suddenly running at her in super speed he was seen as no more then a blur as he ran making him as a target harder and more deadly as she would only have so long to think of a plan he was less then a second upon her as he thought of how to beat her easily and in only a few moves.

He lunged his knee in an attempt to hit her in the gut still moving in super speed trying to simply use one attack and if it failed he would easily have several places to attack not to mention the wing which could use one of the most unexpected moves (Not a power an actual physical attribute) If worse came to worse.

He was hard to keep up with the human eye so most likely she would be hit unless she got lucky but like he thought earlier he would be able to get in another attack that she wouldn't be able to see.

Her sword immediately stopped with the stream when she noticed he was running at her. He may have been a blur, but a blur was still visible. She waited until he was close enough, going to let him try and attack before she did anything. She had to at least give him a chance and not be the one attacking all the time.

His knee almost came into contact with her stomach, but she got out of the way just in time. She had had a feeling he would aim toward her stomach, seeing as how he had done that before in the mountains.

Annabelle turned back around and swung at him, her sword still glowing. If it hit, it would not only cause a wound, but probably burn a bit as well. She was hoping it would hit him, of course, but she wouldn't be surprised if it didn't. Cleanse had super speed, after all.

Cleanse saw she became much better of a fighter then he first battled the girl... he would have to take this slightly more serious as suddenly he spun causing the sword to only barely miss him however it did catch a small tip of his hair as suddenly he thrust his palm forward trying to hit her right under her chin to stun her he was still not taking this seriously and not using his full power he had no need of such a tool as his sword either one of them as this time he would not let her escape from his hit range as even if it would miss he would follow threw with a fast sharp kick right to the back of her head with a 360 spin after the palm was supposed to make contact his leg gaining speed and power as it spun threw the air...

His mind began to think if she did manage to take off hair he would have to use his illusion which would let him beat her the same way he did earlier, it was impossible to tell if he was using his illusion which only made it deadlier and harder to avoid.

He would not be beaten by her and he would not increase his power to anything that would use his seal he only saved that for fights he had needed it which also made him an easier target who purposely lowered his power so his opponent would have a chance if he wanted them to.
