They sat on the floor of his dorm, a noticeably large amount of snacks gathered for them to share. The two had played video games for some time, but now had moved on to a different kind of game.
One of his shadow tentacles would give her a gentle poke to the ribs. "So, you ask me first," he'd say with a playful grin, excited to where all this went, it'd been a while since he'd played truth or dare.
James would laugh and take the cinnamon and spoon, he'd sprout a tentacle which would grab a bottle of water from the kitchen. "Ok," he'd poor himself a spoonful and eat it, or try to, he'd cough and choke like everyone did, having to down water to help.
"Ok," he'd say with a cough, "truth or dare?"
He'd hum in thought a little and grin mischievously, "ok, I dare you to call a random number and sing the first song you have on your phone playlist." A funny prank call and an embarrassing dare all rolled into one.
