"You.....," he'd pause, frowning, "you don't want my help because of who my dad is?" Now that actually hurt, though she'd been doing that a lot lately.

"Why?" he'd ask, in truth he probably knew why, but wanted to hear her out. "Why would it matter who my dad is?"

Hakon would cross his arms. "Why does it matter who I'm related to?"

"Why do you think Hakon?" She countered, placing her hands on her hips. "You are the son of a trickster, and already shown you cannot be trusted. And yet you act surprised when I do not want your help."

Sylvi shook her head. She hadn't wanted to say that to Hakon, but it wasn't like he left her much of a choice. The fact that he had been nothing but argumentative since she had gotten back from Fael.

"It is nothing that you could ever control, trouble making and deception are in your blood." Sylvi said, shaking her head. "That is why I was sent here, to keep you in line."

"Not trust worthy?" the frowning didn't stop, but he wasn't completely angry, he was hurt and actually kinda sad. "I...I have done but been there for you ever since we got here," he'd say narrowing his eyes at her.

"Despite the insults, despite you treating me like I'm lesser than you....," so many of their conversations had gone badly because of how poorly she treated him. "I have never really lied to you, and my so called deception and such has just been me sending you ficking weird pics and memes."

"I might be a trickster, but I am not my father!" he'd sigh and take calming a breath, "and I've earned your trust."

Sylvi

Sylvi rolled her eyes. He had a point, even if she didn't want to admit it. He had been there for her, more often then she gave him credit for. He'd even given her his shield for her first fight, despite her protests that she didn't need it.

"Hmpf." Sylvi huffed, glaring at him. "And yet whenever I ask you to not send them, you just send more!" She snapped at him. "And what of all the time you have tried to get me in trouble, or left me to deal with the fallout from your antics?"

She smirked and seemed to look down her nose when Hakon snapped at her. "You just admitted you are like him. Tricksters, the lot of you." She made no attempt to hide the disdain in her voice.

"I never leave you to deal with my stuff," he'd say with a glare, "I always stay, I never run. I wouldn't just fucking leave you to deal with it." He'd about had enough of this, enough of the bullshit that she constantly spouted.

He'd take a step forward, locking eyes with her. "There's a difference between being a trickster and being like him," he'd say, actually angry now. "I wouldn't do the awful things he does, wouldn't do any of it."

"You act high and mighty, but you're just a spoiled brat," he'd say with a snort. "A brat that acts like she's better than everyone, then throws a fit when proven wrong."

Sylvi

Sylvi let out a huff as Hakon stepped forward, before standing up just a little straighter. Even though she already had near perfect posture she wanted to emphasize that she was still taller then Hakon.

"Maybe so, but it still falls to me to clean up, what is by all accounts, your messes. What of that time in the dwarves shop?" She snapped at him. "I am meant for better things then that, but instead I am stuck here with you. On.. On babysitter duty of all things!" She'd tried to avoid calling it that to his face in the past, but Sylvi didn't see much of a point now.

She snickered when Hakon said he wouldn't do the things that Loki did. "And yet you are still young. Surely you do not believe Loki started out as he is now. His antics grew overtime. Just as yours have and will." She answered with a smirk. "It is simply your nature." Sylvi had no intention to dignify him calling her a spoiled brat with a response.

"I never asked you to follow me around....or for Odin to send some petty wannabe angel to look after me." He'd tall her. "I don't know if you've noticed but I've been fine, I have a job, I go to classes, and I don't view everyone as being beneath me. I'd say I've done better at adapting to people than you have."

He'd narrow his eyes. "I am not Loki, I wouldn't use a child's existence as a plaything to hurt people," he'd tell her, "and I'm definitely not like Odin, become I wouldn't abandon a child to die because his existence is inconvenient."

"You wanna bury yourself in your pride caused stupidity? Fine by me," his eyes grew serious, " but I promise you this......you'll be a bit more humble, you'll learn you're just like everyone else."

"Or for Odin to send some petty wannabe angel to look after me."

Sylvi twitched ever so slightly at that. Taking a step back, she'd summon Sigund, pointing it squarely at Hakon. "How. DARE. You!? As if I would ever desire to be some pathetic angel. I am a VALKYRIE! And you would do well to remember that! She snapped, clearly annoyed at being called an angel. "And I have adjusted perfectly well!"

She scoffed as Hakon said he wasn't like Loki. "The warning signs are already there Hakon. If what you say is indeed true, and you are nothing like Loki, why am I here? Surely I would not need to watch over you if could be trusted to stay out of trouble. But you cannot." She said, glaring at Hakon and smirking.

Staring at Hakon a moment she'd give him a confused look, tightening her grip on her spear ever so slightly. "Is that intended to be a threat, Hakon?" There was a edge to her voice. Hakon wouldn't actually threaten her, would he?

"Well.....then that changes now," he'd say, narrowing his eyes at her. "It's done, you're done," he'd say, "no more following me around, no more watching me, its over." He'd cross his arms. "I don't care if it's the job Odin gave you, that's not my problem, neither of us want it happening, so its over."

In truth he didn't want to stop spending time with her, but if she was going to be like this then he didn't see any other option.

"Threat?" he'd tilt his head. "No babe.....that's a damn promise," with that he'd walk past her, he didn't look back, nor would he react to anything she'd say.

Her eyes widened when Hakon told her she was done, and she took a slight step back, clearly caught off guard. "WHAT?! ACCORDING TO WHO!?" She snapped at him, confusion quickly turning to rage.

"I WAS SENT HERE BY ODIN! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO TELL ME WHEN I AM DONE!? WITH MY DIVINE DUTY, NO LESS!" She snapped, keeping her spear squarely pointed at Hakon.

It would take a moment for her to process what Hakon had said about the threat. "Hmpf. You say that as if I should somehow be intimidated by the likes of you. And I told you not to call me babe!" She scoffed, before trying to fly over to the door, and block it. "And just where do you think you are going?"
