"Only if you want to," Gwen whispered. She was frightened and curious. What could be behind that bush? Is it dangerous? It probably was because it growled. But Gwen really wanted to see exactly what it was. Still frozen in her spot she glanced at Ember, then turned her gaze back to the bush. Ember was frozen too. Both seemed to just stand there, waiting for the thing to move, or them to decide to move. Either way, something was going to move.

"No, I don't want to..." Ember was slightly hesitant. She might have been scared, but she was still anxious to find out what had growled. She could tell that Gwen wanted to find out as well, but would leave if she wanted to leave. She decided not to, so she guessed Gwen was going to stay as well. Still hesitant and not sure what to do next she asked in a whisper. "So, what do you want to do now?"

"Hmm..." Gwen whispered, "I think we should each go on one side of the bush so if it attacks one of us, we will help each other out and it won't be able to attack us both at the same time. "

She looked at Ember for approval or suggestion of another plan.

Ember thought over Gwen's idea. It wasn't a bad idea...not a bad idea at all. "That sounds like a good plan," Ember replied in a low whisper. "You go to the right, and I'll head left, okay?"

Slowly, ever so slowly, Ember began tip-toeing her way towards the left side of the bush, trying to make as little noise as possible.
