Lestat lye on the ground motionless as everything begins to blur in front of his eyes. His bright emerald green eyes beginning to fade as well. They darkened with each passing minute. He was unable to find the strength to get up and either finish this or even walk away. Was he about to die? He didn't know what to tell himself. He had no idea actually what was even happening. But as he lye there on the ground, hopeful, in pain, tired, and unable to catch himself and keep himself from falling back into the abyss he was born in, he thought of Flayace, his girlfriend. He hoped dearly that she was okay. He hoped that she was long gone from this location and most of all, he hoped that she was unharmed by anything that had happened here today. Especially not harmed by his own hand. He would never be able to forgive himself, let alone ever use his powers again for anything period.
"What's happening..." He said with little strength in his voice but with every bit of emotion he felt. "Is this it...I-It can't be... He was unable to finish talking to himself within his own mind as he was interrupted by blurred speech. He couldn't see anything really. he was unable to perceive what was in front of his face. But he continuously filtered through all of the sounds he heard. Everything seemed loud to him, as if everything had been amplified. "Who.." He couldn't help but instantly realize that it was Flayace over him. With that in mind, he kept himself from the deep dark whole that was beginning to consume him, he had no real choice. What if something were to happen to her.
With every little ounce of everything he had, he pulled together his vision enough to see her face. It was beautiful but gleaming from all the tears that had been flowing from her eyes as if they were streams of emotion. "I'm proud of you Lestat.... Let's just go back okay? And we can go back to the cafe and have another date." She said. Lestat was smiling on the inside when he heard this but was unable to move his jaw to speak. He though to himself though, he was able to use his mind with hers. He was unable to do so at first. But in the process of trying to do so, he triggered something that he forgot up until now...
~Back at the lake, Lestat and Flayace first met. It was a beautiful day, everything was perfect but not as perfect as the end of the night would be. The sun was setting and Lestat was being his usual depressed and vengeful self. He hated everything crossed him until a creature dawning long pink hair and a smile that would surely brighten up anyone's day. Lestat was unsuspecting of what he was getting into by talking to her really now. It was really something different that he would never be able to get rid of, not like he would want to anyways in the future.
After which, they met and got acquainted, Lestat was able to go through Flayace's mind for something that she figured may help her. Better control or use of her emotions. Lestat failed to help her in such a situation but did come across something valuable. Hidden behind everything, memories, emotions, scars, and even lost tears, Lestat saw a potential in her. Something rather different. It was an ability that he could not find the actual use of but he would be able unlock it given the right opportunity and the right circumstances but he decided to leave it be and keep it natural for the time being.~
Coming out of his flash back, he heard Flayace once again. "Thank you for protecting me, I need you here so you can keep doing that! So stop playing around!" She said with tears falling from her face to Lestat's. He couldn't feel them though, he was numb in every part of his body. At this point, he was even unable to feel pain. "Get up silly! I need you!" She exclaimed which snapped Lestat's mind completely. His emotions sky rocketed from the remark that she had just made. It was sad. His mind connected to hers almost instantly as she said this and she could hear and feel everything that Lestat had in his own head. He spoke, "I need you to leave before he gets up and does something else, Flayace. Please leave, I don't want you to share my stupidity and end up with my same fate." he had no idea what would happen after he said that though so he wasted no time getting into her mind, it was there.
Within her mind, he found it. He found her hidden potentially and exerted his emotional force on it, he knew that only emotion would help it emerge but she would have to feel such emotion. Lestat brought this to the surface of her own mind but only could she truly use it if she felt for it herself. Suddenly, what Lestat feared happened. Bones, bones came from behind Flayace and if they were deflected they would kill bother her and Lestat and all he could think about was saving her. "Flayace...Move! Lestat managed to send to her mind. His own life didn't even peer through his mind, it was romantic in a way how he cared for and valued her existence before his own. He was unable to move but he was definitely able to use his own mind. Using this cranium of his, he lifted the metal plates that he used as armor before and placed them together as faced as possible. In doing so, they formed behind Flayace's body and stopped the Bones breaking them at the tip almost instantly due to the force behind the bones and the position of the metal. But they only stopped about an inch or to behind Flayace's head and body. The crack and crash of this was loud, louder than one could handle without being at least startled and in this case, scared for their life.
With that being said, who knows what Flayace will have done in that moment of trying truth. One thing is for sure, if no one dies from this, most will walk out seriously injured being compare.
