As they danced, in Painter's mind everyone around him seemed to fade away. The stood only he and she and nobody else existed. Like a spotlight was focused on them and the surrounding area was pitch black. He felt her head on his shoulder and a few tears slid from his eyes where she couldn't see. His happiness shown in ways he never imagined he could think of. Everything tonight had been spontaneous for him, right on the second. Being romantic had been so easy for him to do. He rubbed his cheek against hers gently, wanting as much contact with her as possible.

She held him a bit closer, she wanted to never let him go from her arms. He was all she had and all she loved, no one could compete with him or even try to, in her mind. She realized there was no turning back in this relationship, and she was perfectly fine with it. She moved her lips to his cheek leaving a soft sweet kiss on his cheek. She noticed his tears and lifted a hand from around him and gently wiped away his tears with her thumb. Her eyes caught on his again, they were like two magnets for her own eyes. His blue eyes were something that her brown eyes just couldn't resist to stare at.

She put her arm back around his neck, her eyes still glued to his own. She wished deep in her soul she could not fight Darci and she could just marry Painter and forget all about her past. But she knew the wound wouldn't heal and she would eventually die from it or Darci. She wondered if he liked kids, she couldn't believe how fast everything seemed to be going and yet... Yet nothing seemed rushed, everything felt right. Maybe it was the fact she might die, or maybe it was just meant to be.

Tonight had been the most spontaneous evening ever, Painter had come into her life and just took her on a whirlwind of happiness eversince, they had known eachother for a while, but it seemed as though the minutes passed faster when he was around. Painter had been the only person to get past her barriers to protect herself. She trusted him, she trusted and loved him with all her being and the best part was he loved her back. This man was truly but not offically her fiance. She knew there wasa chance they could never be, because of death, but she knew in her heart that death couldn't separate lovers forever.

After a few more seconds the song ends and the music does a slow fade off. Painter steps back a little out of his lover's embrace and smiles as she stares into his eyes. He leans forward and kisses her gently before pulling back away and putting his forehead against hers, "I love you.."

She felt so loved when the song stopped he steps back slightly smiling as she stared lovingly into his eyes. He kissed her gently, she kissed him back. The kiss ended his forehead leaning against her's. The words she heard next she heard for the first time from his mouth what he and she both thought in their own heads.

"I love you.."

She kissed his forehead lightly and affectionately, then rested her forehead against his again. "I love you to." She smiled lightly, this night had been the best of her entire life. She was sure all of her lost memories were nothing compared to this.

He continues to grin doggishly and puts his hands on her waist. The tune for the Boot Scoot Boogie begins to play ans he chuckles, "Tell me you know how to do this!" he says, grabbing her by the hand and putting her right next to him. He begins to do the dance, running through each step easily.

Her eyes widdened she had never danced to this kind of music before, or even seen dancing to this kind of music before. She really felt out of place now, she just stood there with a 'Oh my word what did I get myself into face'. She was glad there wasn't anything like rap playing, she looked at Painter with a 'please don't make me dance this' look. She had only just learned how to slow dance and now something as weird as this just might kill her. She felt exactly like a blinking smiley = She just wished the song would stop mid-song and switch to something easy.

Painter slows and glances at her with a small smile, "Oh come on..it's not hard.." he sighs and shakes his head, walking off of the floor with her. He finds a seat and sits down, pulling a chair next to him for her, "It's fun when you learn how to do it, I'll teach you another time.." he says to her, still wearing his innocent smile.

"Oh come on..it's not hard.."

She raised a eyebrow, "Um.... Not really ready for such a dance." She said watching him. It seemed much harder and she wasn't about to make a big fool out of herself especially in public. Maybe if it really was just her and him, but there was no way she'd try something in this club especially since it was getting crowded.

She felt bad that she let him down, but she had to draw the line or else she'd not only make a fool out of herself but him as well. She just needed to gradually get into this, she wondered if he was upset. She sat beside him, her eyes looking at his trying to read his mind even though it wasn't her ability.

"It's fun when you learn how to do it, I'll teach you another time.."

"Are you mad at me?" She asked him feeling bad about letting him down, she just felt she wasn't ready for something like that. Especially since she never really listened to that kind of music. She just was still new to the world in a way, she needed some time to get used to some things.

Painter smiles at her and grabs her hand, "No..I could never be mad at you.." he says and sits back casually. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, he was beginning to feel tired from the long day. He gives her hand a light squeeze and glances over at her. "Anything in particular you would like to do?" he asks.

She smiled when he took her hand and answered, he was so sweet and loving. So unlike the man who haunted her dreams, she had so many bad dreams at night. All from her pasts, she just wanted to hide under her blanket some nights and ward off the bad dreams. But she knew they were all in her head and not some nightmare. She squeezed his hand back, she knew the nightmares would make this night terrible.

"Anything in particular you would like to do?"

An idea filled her head, she wondered if he'd mind sleeping in the lounge on the couch sitting next to her so she didn't have nightmares. She knew it was a lot to ask, sometimes her wound would bleed during the nightmares so she'd end up getting very little sleep since she'd have to hold a bandage to her wound to stop the bleeding so it wouldn't get too severe. Her nightmares were beyond many other's she knew that possibly being with Painter would scare them away and put her mind at ease.

"Actually, maybe we could talk some in the lounge." She offered, she didn't want to ask straight out if he'd stay with her in the lounge for the night so she didn't have a nightmare of her past. She hadn't had many visions of her past with him around either, so she almost felt like she was perfectly healthy. She just wanted one good night of sleep without waking up in a pool of blood from her wound in her shoulder.
