Totally out of this world

Lottie nods at Alaric's answer. There was a lot yet to be seen and just knowing that there is so much out there, almost made her want to stay her forever... which was a dangerous thought. But rather than think too much, she distracted ideas as to where could find books on spaceships like Alaric mentioned.

"Yeah... yeah maybe we could find one! If they even still use books up here. Everything might just be... holograph screens or something." remarked Lottie, thinking a little bit too long on what a booklet on spaceship design looks and didn't notice Alaric sit next to her. At least until she turned to speak to him and realized he was on the bench next to her... close.

"Oh! Yeah this please is super cool! Lets not rest on one's laurels and check out even more! Also I swear you have secret ability to teleport around cause you have a habit of suddenly popping up, you that that?" says Lottie as she pushes herself off the bench and spins on her heel to face Alaric on the bench still. "So about we just go wander about some more? See where our whims take us?"

“Awww, that’s sweet of you. I guess I am pretty cool so I don’t blame you for wanting to hang out with me all day.” Said Lottie, finding it a bit endearing that Alaric would seek her out once he caught her scent though… that did bring up an important question. “Uhh… so you can smell out pretty far away aright? Cause if you do then I must smell nice or… I just stink really bad ha ha!”

After some forced laughter, Lottie took a quick sniff of herself just to make sure she didn’t smell too funky or anything. She was never really into the whole getting pampered routine but right she was feeling a little self-conscious of herself. She didn’t reek of BO or anything but… she was a bit worried if she had some sort of funky smell to her that she didn’t know about. Anyway, it was a relief to finally get a move on and stop wondering about her personal hygiene.

“Oh?! Yeah lets go check it out!” squealed Lottie as she raced inside. The inside was like lightshow of colors with all sorts of interactive holograms competing for the audience attention. There was so many to check out but there was one called out to her… err literally.

“Hey you!” exclaimed some sleazy looking blue hologram person complete with sunglasses and shades with a voice that sounded like someone eating a peanut butter sandwich.

“Me?” asked Lottie, pointing to herself just to confirm.

“Yeah! YOU! You’re a star beautiful!”

“U-uhhh thanks-”

“So why don’t you show the whole galaxy that you are A DANCING STAR!”

Lottie then watch the hologram man explode into a galaxy with big neon words sparkling saying “Galactic Dance Star 7: Deluxe”

“…. Wooaahhh…. But I’m-”

“So grab a partner and show the galaxy WHAT YOUR MADE OF!” called out the hologram’s disembodied voice as the dance stage lights up in neon lights and flashing screen beckoning dancers to take their place.

“ALARIC! We got to try this! The blue man said that we can be dancing stars!” exclaimed Lottie, so enthralled with the light display that she wanted to try it even had no dancing talent.

"Neither can I but lets go and try!" giggled Lottie, brimming with energy as she set foot on the dance pad.

Once on stage, a holographic screen pulled up in front of them and the panels they stood upon lit in blue and pinks. On screen there was brief tutorial on how the game work and it seemed simple enough: there are a series of poses that you must match and you are scored on how close you time the pose and how close your pose is to the one on screen. The objective was simple: the the galaxy's greatest dancing star!

Step left, step right, step left again and now jump while raising your hands to the sky! All of this dancing was giving her a sweat but hey it was sort of fun! And she was doing quite alright based on the game telling her that she was doing great! But it would seem that Alaric was even better on his feet than her as he beet her by a couple hundred points! But the both of them lagged far behind the the names that popped up on the top scores. Oh well, it was stupid fun but fun nevertheless.

"Phew... ha ha... well look at you ha ha... I didn't know you were secretly a dancer~" joked Lottie as she leans back and catches her breath for the second time for today.

"Wow, you were greeeeat!" said the blue hologram man before, to which it was now clear being projected from the dance game "Would you like video saved to share with your friends and family?"

"Oh there is video?" asked Lottie, unaware that they were being recorded.

The blue hologram man disappears and on screen, there was a video of Lottie and Alaric dancing like total goofballs. Okey maybe they were not THAT bad but Lottie couldn't help help but glow red in her cheeks by how terrible her choreography was and hid her shame by hiding her face behind her hands.

"Oh gosh, we look like total fools Alaric." muffled Lottie, feeling so embarrassed that she couldn't help but find the whole thing funny.

"Blehh... I guess your right." bemoaned Lottie as they drag they hands off their face to reveal redden cheeks and a content smile "What matters is that we had fun together."

Just as she was saying that, she could see the blue hologram man spritz over to another pair of people trying to sweet talk them to trying out the dance machine.

"Well I guess that is our queue to hope off and see where else we can make ourselves fools at eh?" remarked Lottie as they hop off the dance pad and scans for the other things to try out.

Que several hours later as the two of them exhausted themselves exploring the entire venue and trying out pretty much everything! Their activities ranged from mock lightsaber fights, rafting in digital sea, working together to solve a tetris like puzzle challenge, and creating holographic avatars of each other.

"Oh is it night already?" remarked Lottie upon leaving exiting thought the door and looking out one of the station windows before remembering a very important detail "Oh wait... we are space! Its always night up here ha ha ha!"

Still, checking the time, it was quite a bit late. Didn't feel all that long but time flies when having fun she supposed. Still, they didn't have to leave right away.

"Okay well... anything you want to real quick before we start thinking about heading out? At this rate it will take us several more visits int he future to hope to see everything in this station."

"Oh? Well more thing? Alright what is it?" asked Lottie as they waited in anticipation of what Alaric's idea.

Honestly she was expecting something like looking out through the space station window or grabbing a snack from a vendor before leaving. The question of being Alaric's girlfriend throw her out of loop a bit.

"O-oh... well... this is surprise." said Lottie, feeling the butterflies well up and flutter in her heart. Though has she thought about it, was it really a surprise?

The signs where so obvious with hindsight that he really like her. And... she felt the same way with Alaric. Heck she plans of round about ways of asking Alaric if he wanted to her boyfriend but looks like Alaric beat her to it. Not that she was going to complain or anything.

"Alright well... how about a yes yes YES! Ha ha!" answered Lottie with vigor. With this answer, Lottie then brings Alaric to her with a the strongest hug as she could muster, her head resting snugly "Yes I will be your girlfriend if you wanna be my boyfriend. Deal?"
