To The Past And Back Again

Chuckling he'd take a seat with her, almost wrapping his arm around her. He had to constantly remind himself that public affection wasn't as acceptable in the current time period. "My regalia Brasputin granted me it," he'd nod to one of the servants who'd stepped up and poured him some tea before scurrying away.

"This building is still standing in the present," he'd tell her once alone, "It's used for big events for the local neighborhood, but is empty for most of the year." He'd take a sip of his tea, "I used to sneak in and sleep in one of the upstair rooms."

He'd hum in thought, "an extension of my mind, like a mental limb is stopping the flow of time." Another sip of tea and he'd give her a smile, "so what does that say about yours going off when we're in bed?" he'd chuckle, happy for the moment alone.

Lucan would turn back, tilting his head to get a look out the partially open door, into the ballroom. Taking a breath he'd calmly focus and time truly stopped. He'd glance around, surprised at his success.

Standing he'd quickly teleport around to look before returning to Elisa. He'd focusing again time would resume it's natural form. "I....I did it," he'd say, offering her a glass of some alcoholic drink he'd grabbed whole time was frozen, "for my wonderful teacher."

He'd take the glass back with a small snicker, setting it on the table, "you'd be a lightweight at the parties I go to love," he'd say jokingly. "At least I finally go the time stop down, it seems useful and fun," he'd say with a mischievous smirk.

Lucan smiled when she stopped time and crawled into his lap, his arms wrapping around her. "Couldn't ask for a better reward," he'd press his lips against hers, his hand gently rubbing her back. "You're amazing y'know," he'd chuckle and kiss her again.

He loved affection and sex, but he knew to control himself, so yes he'd kiss her passionately, his tongue exploring her mouth. But he made sure not to mess up her clothes or hair, they were at a formal party after all.

"Elisa?" he'd ask suddenly concerned, she wasn't moving, she wasn't even blinking, "you ok love?" He'd gently poke her shoulder, "babe?.....what's wrong?" he'd glance around, not sure what was going on, worry quickly creeping in.

He'd then gently shake her, becoming even more worried when she didn't react, "this isn't funny....Elisa?" It wasn't a prank, this was something else, some potentially bad, teleporting over to the door he'd close and lock it, and then return to her.

"Oh gods...babe?" he didn't know what to do, Brasputin wasn't here this time, he was on his own. He'd gently place his hands on her cheeks, "babe if you can hear me...please wake up," he was scared now, he didn't know what to do.

Lucan would wrap his arms around her, holding her close, "oh thank God, thought I'd lost you." He'd look her over, concern and worry on his face, "I...I don't know love," he'd kiss her and hug her tight, relieved to have her back but still worried.

"I...maybe I screwed up," he'd finally say, "maybe I did something wrong and that was my time stop power affecting you." The thought that he'd hurt her, the person he loved was a terrible thought that hit him hard, he didn't want to ever hurt her.

He'd quickly look her over, "are you ok? Is anything hurting?" he had to be sure that she wasn't hurt. "Anything feel off?" he rarely worried like this, but he cared about her.

He'd sigh a bit, he was happy she was ok, happy she wasn't hurt, but he was still worried. "Maybe we can ask my regalia, Brasputin for advice once we get back," he had a better understanding of time powers than either of them, "he'll probably have some idea of what it is."

Taking a breath he'd look her over once more, making sure there wasn't anything off. "We'll keep an eye on it, if it happens again I might take us back home," she said it wasn't him causing it, but he wasn't sure, "maybe it's the time travel glitching."

"Either way....I'm happy you're ok," he'd give her a smile and another hug, "sorry that I sorta...panicked," he'd blush from embarrassment, a rare occasion.
