Ain noticing the result, sighed deeply as it was what he expected and quickly hopped backwards to get Ankh out of the radius of his aura, but at least this time he got a warning rather than a full fledged attack against him; for that he was at least in part grateful. There was little he could do, if he could not get any closer than that to the large sphinx, but it remained to be seen if she would be able tro calm down after he had affected her in such a way.

Bowing his head apologetically, he hoped to avoid a fight if he could but sometimes it just wasn't possible, 'That was a bad idea..' he thought as he pointed around himself to symbolize a radius for which his aura is active.

Ankh, while still somewhat annoyed, accepted Archer's bow as a form of apology. When they gestured vaguely around themselves in a circular motion, Ankh understood it as aura of some sort, an aura that she assumed he had means to deactivate. How troublesome she thought but at least potential conflict was avoided for now.

"Mhmmm... thats better. I judge you mean no ill but I ask that you keep your distance for your own sake. If you lack the ability to control this... aura of yours then it will do you a service to maintain the proper space." lectured Ankh, having now returned to her calm demeanor. It then occurred to her that perhaps this ability is what drove Archer to the forbidden forest in the first place, a self imposed isolation perhaps?

"Hmm... is that why you are in this forest? Your powers and lack of speech prevent you from getting close to others?" inquired Ankh, looking out to the destroyed trees in the distance, then looking back down to Archer to get some form of confirmation.

@Rockman (No worries! Short post are fine and there are no word count that you have to adhere to. Just something to remember ^_^)

Ain was relieved that it didn't turn into a fight, in his experience there were people that could handle standing next to him and those that couldn't. He sort of assumed the large sphinx could handle it, but appearances were deceiving in the very least. 'But, at least Ankh knows about my aura now,' he thought as he took another step back to make sure that it didn't happen accidentally.

He listened to her tell him to keep his distance, and nodded since he had no choice but agree. When she asked if he was in the forest because of his aura, he again nodded yes. It was hard being around people, when most of them couldn't even step next to him properly, but not being able to talk to people without sounding like a demon was another problem.

"As suspected... so long as you understand your circumstances and kept the proper distance... I see no need for conflicted" mentioned Anhk, reaching for the quiver on her backside to draw an large arrow.

"Now is this particular patch of forest part of your home? If so, would my presence be a disturbance for you? I can easily relocate myself to practice your if you so wish. I do not mean to cause any destruction to your property as I can understand my practice with bow and arrow to be..." Ankh looks out to the trees across the clearing, either impaled with large arrows through their trucks or shattered into splinters entirely. "... destructive, as tend to be my species nature."

"If you allow me to remain... I suppose you can give judgement for my archery as you see fit." commented Ankh as she looks back to the elven archer with a slight smirk on her face.

((Forgive me for being late on this post))

Ain scratched his head as he was unsure what to make of this giant woman, so very destructive, yet almost elegant in her method. He bet with a bit of practice she would be able to control her destructive tendencies, but with her current size it would be difficult. He took out his bow, and motioned with his free hand to his back and shown to her the straightening oh his posture, then he extended his arm while holding the bow at a ninty degree angle from him and nocked an arrow.

His violet eyes looked to Ankh for her to do the same, it would be slight different but she had a humanoid body on top so it wouldn't take that much adjustment. He then pulled back the string, level with his hold of the bow and released, the arrow firing swiftly into the tree just above his first arrow.

'Now you....' he thought calmly as he glanced over to her, hoping that she would be able to hit the tree this time.

Ankh resets her stance and studies the man, watching him take form as she proceeds to mimic his every motion. First she straightened her posture, then holds her bow out exactly how Archer was holding his own bow. Then then notched a arrow in place onto the bowstring. Once she had followed the Archer's instructions, she met his violet eyes with her golden iris and nodded to him affirmatively.

She watched as the arrow flew, striking just above the arrow he had shot earlier in the day. She too replicated the draw of bow as Archer just demonstrated, using her fingers to pull back the string until at its zenith she releases it. The arrow flies like a ballista bolt though the shot was still a bit high as raced though the foliage of the tree, shaving off several branches until the arrow impales itself on a rather one of the thicker tree branch. While not exactly on target, for Anhk this was a success as she at least hit the intended tree for once. Seeing this improvement brought her a bit joy to the ancient sphinx, as evidenced by the smile creeping up on her face.

"Ah... you most have helped... I at least hit the tree which is already a far better result than the rest of my time practicing." commented Anhk, still sounding quite pleased with her performance.
