To Make Things Right

October decided now that they had to go. She looked at Adelina and nodded her goodbye, then looked at Tsim and opened the door to leave. "You up to going somewhere or doing something fun? Or would you rather be alone?" she asked softly, not wanting to make him do something he didn't want to.

October looked at him, a look of care in her violent eyes. "You can decide, Tsim. You're a person. You don't have to do something you don't want to..." she said softly.

Adelina smiled somewhat. Her little sister was growing up, and the young woman knew that October could handle this. She was good at cheering people up... or at least trying to, anyway.

The look of caring remained. "I can't decide for you, Tsim," October said, a patient and understanding tone to her voice. "You just do whatever you want to do. Maybe we should just talk to each other some other time?" She figured that the last option would be best, but she still wanted to wait for a response.

October nodded in return. They would see each other sometime later, then. She smiled and watched as he walked off for a few moments, then walked back into the lounge to be with Adelina. She had to tell her sister all that had happened, after all.
