Dorn slowly walked up towards the doors that was going into the boys dorm, he was humming a merry tune as he walked but he made sure that James always was right next to him so that the boy would not be left behind. "Well as you can see this is the dorm for us boys" he explained calmly. "But I am sure you noticed that from the large sign with Boys Dorm that is on the wall." he grinned a little as he said this simple fact.

As he came to the door Dorn stopped and calmly opened it. "After you my friend" he said to James with a polite gesture towards the door. This had been a calm day so far, Dorn had made yet another friends and this one was a boy he really started to like to, things was going to go great.

James followed him, shoulders hunched shyly and clutching the strap of his messenger bag with both hands like it was a life line. The walk through the grounds had freaked him out even more then he thought it would. He was relieved to have Dorn with him - he couldn't imagine how he would be feeling if he didn't have a guide, someone he knew, to help him. Still, no amount of friendly reassurance could prepare him for the bustle of the front grounds, with students and powers everywhere he looked. He'd seen a girl with flames shooting out of her hands, had bumped into thin air that squeaked and apologized. He finally gave up trying to process it all and had spent the rest of the walk staring at his feet and trying not to think.

When he finally shook himself from his daze, Dorn was holding a door open for him and saying something about boy's dorms. He smiled softly, ducking through the open doorway and pausing for a moment to take in the seemingly endless corridor.
"Ah..." He fumbled in his bag for a minute, shyness back in full force in this new, intimidating place. He pulled out the dorm assignment sheet, detaching the key taped to it and slipping it into his pocket. "My room number is... 73." He glanced from the paper to the nearest door and back helplessly. His brain didn't seem to be working right. "So that means it's... Down there, right?" He asked, pointing vaguely to the left.

He slipped the tie off from around his neck, tucking it into the side pocket of his bag. He still needed to find some different clothes, too..."Where's your room, anyway?" He asked, tilting his head to the side curiously.

Dorn listened to him as he said what room he had, "Yeah that room is in that direction, how right you are" he said calmly and then he began to walk to the left down the corridor. He looked after James over his shoulder and gave the boy an encouraging smile. He had noticed that the boy was nervous and Dorn did not blame him at all for being that. Not at all.

When the question about his room came up Dorn smiled a little."Oh it is in that direction to actually" he made a gesture down the hall as he said this. "Don´t worry Jamie, we will get there." he actually smiled in a rather amused way as he said this, he coninued to walk until he arrived to the right door, 73. "Here is the room that you will be using" he explained calmly and patted the wood of the door for a few seconds, then he looked at Jamie

"Curious to find out who your roommate is Jamie boy? I know for a strong fact that the two of you are going to be good friends. So why don´t you go in and say hello to him" he grinned slightly as he said this, it was clear he had something on his mind but what it was was unclear.

He exhaled, relieved that he was at least able to discern that. He skipped a few steps until he caught up with the taller boy, smiling nervously back at him. He felt foolish, being nervous about something that most people wouldn't give a second thought to. He couldn't help it; it was a common occurrence with him.

"It is? That's good." He grinned, unable to hide his excitement. He couldn't help but be relieved at the news that Dorn would live near by. He was the only person who had shown any interest in him for a long time, and it was comforting to know he wouldn't be too far away if his roommate was a horrible person or something.

He stopped in front of the door, picking the key out of his pocket with thin, nervous fingers. "Right." He breathed, slipping the key into the lock and quirking a curious glance in Dorn's direction. He couldn't imagine how the other boy could be so sure he'd get along with his roommate. He knew that most people were unwilling to put up with his awkward demeanor. He chalked it up to Dorn being an optimistic sort of person.

He pushed open the door halfway, peeking into the room experimentally before walking in and dropping his bag on the barren bed opposite the door. "He's not here." He said, more then a little relieved. "Guess I'll have to wait a bit to meet him, eh?"

Dorn looked into the room as James walked inside. "No would seem as he is not in the room right now" he said calmly, then he slowly walked inside. "Have you seen such weird things he has around him" he made a gesture towards piles of paper and many books, not to mention that one could spot a shelf that looked like it contained Disney movies. There was also weird things like tool one used when building things...a laptop that did look very weird, it was as if someone had taken an old laptop and modified then with new parts here and there. "He sure is a weird person that character your going to share your room with. I tell you that much"

Dorn walked to the bed on the other side of the room from James and picked up a book and examined it. "Hmmmm....but somehow this name is familiar Dorn Cornelius Koon, oh wait...it´s me" he said suddenly and turned to give James a bright smile. "Your roommate is in the room alright, he is standing right here. We are not talking about someone with the power to not be seen or in other ways shrink or turn themselves into a book" he grinned slightly. "What a lucky chance we ran into each other, I was starting to wonder when my roommate was going to show up."

James sat down on his bed, bouncing experimentally and watching Dorn walk around the room. He smiled, shrugging one shoulder. "It's interesting. At least he's not boring, eh?" He hadn't met the boy, but he had to admit his possessions were indeed interesting. He was beginning to become quite curious about his roommate despite himself.

"What's that?" He was digging around intently in his bag for his contacts case, but when the other boy read his own name off the book his head popped up curiously. His confused frown disappeared as Dorn continued to speak, and by the time he was finished he was laughing to himself and hovering involuntarily a few inches over the bed. "Should've known." He shook his head, all anxiety melting away. "So you're my roommate? That's awesome! Although I should warn you, I'm probably going to drive you insane..."

He hopped off the bed, still hovering a few inches from the ground, and made a vain attempt to ground himself before giving up and floating over to Dorn's side of the room, viewing everything with renewed interest. "Did you make that yourself?" He asked curiously, nodding towards the strange laptop.

Dorn tilted his head to the side and looked at the boy. "No I do not think you could make me insane Jamie boy" he said with a grin and sat down on his own bed, he stretched his arms slightly and yawned. "But I might make you insane with all my little private works I am doing." he made a gesture towards all the papers and scrolls that was covered in stranger notes and many of the in binary codes.

The boy followed James with the eyes as the boy walked over to his side of the room, it was fun that the boy found Dorns things interesting, the looked at the laptop as he was asked the question if he had built it. "Yeah I have actually, I got this computer for my last birthday, my family have extremely little money coming in so I got a very old one, but I have done some additions and changes to make it up to date." in fact it was much better then many of the new once, but Dorn was not a person to brag about what he had done, it was a working computer and that was all he had to know, nothing more nothing less. "You can try her out if you want, there is wireless on it if you want to check something on the internet" he opened the computer as he talked and then he picked it up and handed it to James. "Tell me what you think about it. I would be happy to have someone check out my work" he was silent for a moment as his blue eyes examined James, then it looked like he remembered something. "and while you do that I will see if I can find you some clothes that would be in the right size" he calmly walked over to a wardrobe and began to search around though it, Dorn did not have much clothes but he was going to see what he had.

James shook his head, squinting curiously at a precarious stack of paper. "Don't worry, the importance of privacy is one of the few things I truly understand." He grinned over at Dorn, suddenly dropping lightly back to earth. "I've got a stash of secret papers, myself."

"Ah, awesome." he accepted the strange computer, sitting down cross legged on his bed and inspecting it curiously. "Should probably send an 'I'm here' email to my family." He muttered absentmindedly, momentarily entranced by the souped-up computer.

Jamie glanced up as the other boy started searching through his wardrobe. "A bunnyhug or something would be fine. Won't matter if it's too big, that way. This computer is amazing! It's faster then mine, and that's almost brand new. Are you a super-genius as well as an empath?" He quirked an eyebrow at Dorn, only half joking.

Dorn laughed. "It is not that private really, you can read from it all you wish Jamie boy" he said calmly and made a gesture towards all the papers. "I do not think you would understand much, mainly because my writing is very dificult to read...and it is hard to read thing just made out of 110010001101 and so on." he grinned slightly and then he yawned.

He smiled at Jamie when he said it was awesome and that he would send a mail to his family home. "Yeah you do that Jamie, send anything you want....but do not let me catch watching things that should not be watched. I do not think I have to say what." he grinned again, but one could see he was teasing the boy when he said these words.

He listened to the request and frowned a little. "Sure I actually think I have a red once somewhere here" he said and then he pulled out the piece he was looking for. "I think it is a little big, but not to much. We are not to different in our waist size so that is not going to be a problem." he calmly walked over to James. He blushed a little when he asked about the computer. "Well I happen to like a few things others would not, and I have a pretty....well from what the doctors said I have a very high IQ from what other humans possibly could have, not sure if being smart counts as a superpower. I really do not see myself as that smart." if one looked at Dorns things then it was clear that the books he was reading was advanced things...how to put in codes and calculations into computers, about most subjects really....there even was some notes about a work he did to make a spaceship.

Jamie glanced over at Dorn, raising an eyebrow incredulously. "You write binary code? By hand? On paper?" He asked, shaking his head in disbelief. "Okay, now you can't tell me you're not a genius."

He tried to focus on his typing, face going red at the other boy's teasing. "Things that should not be watched?" He finally asked, grinning and playing along. "Certainly not! I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing. At least, not on someone else's computer."

"Ah! Thank you!" He took the hoodie from Dorn, holding it up at arms length for a moment to discern its size. "Perfect." He unbuttoned his dress shirt, shrugging it off a little self consciously and quickly slipping into the far more comfortable hoodie. It was a bit big, and the loose fit made him appear even smaller then he already was. He liked it - he preferred his clothes to be unremarkable and loose-fitting. "Smarter then me, anyway." He shrugged, grinning despite himself at Dorn's blush. He looked smaller when he was embarrassed, and a little younger, making Jamie forget for a second how he normally towered over him. "You're good with coding, hmm?" he gestured to the various textbooks scattered about. "Me, I get confused with all the structure and rules. Can never remember them all."
