A man in a leather jacket was sitting at one of the tables, but he soon stood up, slamming one of the books down on the table. "That is NOT how that happened! GET IT RIGHT, HISTORIANS!!"

He blinked. He apparently hadn't said that in his head, had he? Allen looked around, swallowing, though he narrowed his brown eyes, sitting back down. It had been an article on one of the battles of the Civil War, and this book had it all wrong. Why did he even have this book out? He was looking for things he had missed, not things he had seen.

Sighing, the immortal stood up, rubbing his forehead. He walked over to one of the bookshelves, placing the encyclopedia back in its spot. He shook his head to get the long, black locks out of his eyes and started scanning for dates.

If only he hadn't gone to sleep for all those years. It seemed that he had certainly missed a lot.

Allen had just arrived here today, and already had his room set up and the like. He just needed to get the right books now and the right videos to find out what had happened in the 1900s... though it wouldn't be the same as seeing it with his own eyes.

But no one could blame him for falling asleep for so long after what he had seen. The gravestones of his wife and child had been too heartbreaking for him.

Allen grit his teeth, pushing the thought from his mind. "Stupid past..." he grumbled, continuing to look through the books. He was not having a good day today.

Legion stumbled into a school that he had seen while he was walking. Already he was getting looks from the girls. And dirty looks from their boyfriends. Legion couldn't help but smile. All the teachers, and most of the students stopped and looked at him. What are they all looking at? Certainly not me... Legion thought to himself. It was insane. If Legion decided to join this school, then this would be his first day here. Legion heard a shout from down the hallway. "That is NOT how that happened! GET IT RIGHT, HISTORIANS!!" Legion could hear that from all the way down the hallway. People gasped at the shout, and Legion took off at a sprint down the hall to the Library. He entered slowly, and cautiously. Just in case there was another shout.

Legion saw a kid with black hair looking through the encyclopedias. Why he was looking there for a good read, Legion did not know. The guy looked ragged, and tired. Legion wondered what was wrong with him. The black haired kid sat down, and started reading again. "You know," Legion said, stepping out from behind a bookcase. "I don't think those big books will help you out much for whatever you are looking for. But, that's just me." It had been a few days since Legion woke up, so he had some time to associate himself with this new world around him. It was all new, but Legion had coped with it, and learned.

Susan walked into the library. She had lost a book she had bought a week ago, so now she was going to see if the library had it. Why she hadn't done this before buying the book, she wasn't sure. But she really wanted to read this book, so that was why she was here now.

She went to the front desk, asked for the historical section of the library before heading that way.

Jamie had been reading silently, just minding his own business. He was reading about the Civil War. Quite intriguing, really.

He looked up when he someone yelled 'GET IT RIGHT, HISTORIANS!!'

But he saw Susan just then. He grinned and waved. He looked back at the man who'd yelled. "Maybe it's historical fiction?" He suggested.

A loud 'POOF' could be heard as pages flew everywhere. "Gosh Dangit! Why can't I control my energy when reading a book.. Miiisssssssssss! The book exploded again!" A lady walked over, giving him a harsh glare. "Go sit down! I'll give you papers instead of books.." He blinks a bit and walks over, sitting down as a loud ell rang out close to him, making him fall over in his chair, blinking up at the ceiling now.

Allen was only becoming more and more frustrated as time went by. This was really frustrating... and if he just walked up to someone and asked, 'Hey, what happened in the 1900s?' he was sure to get some odd stares. By what he had heard already, there had been more wars and some other crucial events. Sighing, he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. It seemed that over the last seven hundred years, he had really gotten a temper.

And Esme hadn't helped that at all. She had only made it worse, what with her having to run away and cause everything to fall apart!

He banged his head against a wall. Why did he keep thinking about that today?

"I don't think those big books will help you out much for whatever you are looking for. But, that's just me."

So much for trying to calm down. Allen wasn't much of a people person. Dark brown eyes turned to the younger male, a dangerous and threatening look to them. "Then what do you suggest I look for, boy?" he asked, a British accent making its presence known. It usually only came when he was really mad, along with the other accents he had picked up in his travels. Right now, he just wasn't in the mood. Who was this kid to tell him what he should be looking for? "I need to know what happened in the 1900s. Do you think I should look in those smaller books that explain NOTHING?!"

Children these days had no idea, did they? He hated it.

Allen paid no mind to the female that had entered the library, and merely kept his gaze on Legion. That was, until, someone piped up about 'historical fiction'. This place was really beginning to suck... why had he come to a school? He didn't need schooling... he was older than all of them!

"Maybe it's historical fiction?"

Allen stalked toward the male. "So that's how heartless writers have become these days, eh? They twist the truth? They turn the worst events in history into something that suits their fancy better?! IS THAT IT?!" Now the accent was Scottish. He hadn't even spent a lot of time in Scotland, either... odd.

"Gosh Dangit! Why can't I control my energy when reading a book.. Miiisssssssssss! The book exploded again!"

Allen now turned to the other male. "STOP WHINING!" he yelled. He had obviously forgotten that this was a library. "Boo hoo, your book exploded! Get over it! It's a book, it's not worth as much as a life!"

He was really ticked off.

Legion's eyes narrowed, he could feel a storm in the distance. The electricity crackled in the air. "Why are you so curious about the Nineteen hundreds? Trying to look up your family tree?" A thin smile crossed Legion's lips. He did not like being spoken down to. Not one of his favorite pasttimes. Legion looked around at the other four guys and the girl. "Well, a little party here." He flashed a smile in the direction of the girl. "I'm Legion." He said to the collective group of people.

He clenched the pen tightly in his hand as the man yelled at him. He sits up and stands, concentrating his energy into it. He looked po'ed. He threw the pen right to the man's face, sending a jolt through the air as the pen exploded right in front of his face, sending a glob of ink right at his face.

Jamie shrugged. "No need to get your breeches in a bunch." He said. "Just trying to help." He wasn't one to pick a fight even if the man was being a royal pain in the neck. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed today." He said to Susan.

Susan ignored the boy's smile but grinned at Jamie. "Hey, Jamie," she greeted. When the pen exploded in the yelling guy's face, her eyes widened. She hadn't thought people from this century were so rude. Obviously, she had been wrong.

Not caring whether the two guys obviously wanting to pick a fight with this guy got mad at her, she made it start to rain--pour down rain. It got the in to start washing off. It also soaked every book in the room.
