The thirteen-year-old girl walked up one of the paths that led up one of the mountains. She looked around, just looking at all the different snow-capped mountains. There wasn't any snow where she was walking, only dirt and rock, but it wasn't like it made a difference. It was still cold up here, and the farther up she traveled, the colder it became.

She blew some stray hairs out of her violet eyes, and stuffed her gloved hands into her pockets in an attempt to gain more warmth. It worked somewhat, but not as much as she would have hoped. October kept her eyes toward the ground as she walked, knowing that her sister was going to have to start training her to use her scythe soon. The thought had just randomly popped into her head, really. And, to be honest, half of her wanted to learn how to use such a cool weapon (well, in her opinion, scythes were cool), but another half of her didn't want to.

Sighing, she rubbed her face, kind of tired from walking all this way. She sat down on a near by boulder, folding her legs on top of it, just sitting there.

Tsim came walking up the mountain not showing any signs of him being cold the only real thing visable was the various breaths he made in the cold but he seemed to used to it that it didn't seem to matter...he said October and waved at her she probobly didn't see him or hear him since ha made no sound...but hey he could just walk up to her if he had to

Upon hearing footsteps, October turned her head, coughing softly to herself. She still had a cold, and it was probably stupid for her to be out here, but she liked the outdoors — especially when there was snow on the ground. When Tsim came into view, her face brightened, and she hopped up off of her rock. "Hello!" she greeted, waving at him. She wished she knew his name, but unfortunately, she didn't. She was going to ask him if he would tell her, though.

Tsim smiled at her as he looked at her wondering what she was doing out here in such whether...he wanted to ask but unsure how since he nver did talk...he just sighed silently and shrugged...

October still smiled, walking over to him, fighting herself not to shiver. "How've you been? Good?" she asked, hoping he was. She would ask him in a few moments what his name was... she just hoped she wouldn't be pushing anything if she did. She knew yes or no questions worked, so maybe he could write it for her.

Tsim only nodded at her all he could really do since he still didn't speak he wanted to ask her the same thing he didn't even move to let her see his whole face just his white eyes since his head and mouth were covered

October's smile widened somewhat. "Good, I'm glad," she said. She was silent for a while, biting the inside of her lip, trying to phrase her next question correctly. She didn't want it to sound rude or demanding, just curious, since she really did want to know his name. "Not to sound pushy or anything..." she began quietly, turning her eyes to the ground, "but... do you think that maybe you could tell me your name? You don't have to talk, but could you write it, maybe? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, though, I was just wondering what it was." She still kept her eyes on the ground, hoping he wouldn't be angry that she had asked.

October felt a little bit bad for asking when she heard him sigh, but when she heard his sword scraping in the dirt, she turned her eyes up a little bit. She saw the letters in the dirt and her face brightened again. He told me!! YAY!! she thought to herself, looking up completely now.

"Well, even though I'm sure I said it before but without your name, it's nice to meet you Tsim," she said. "Thanks for telling me your name."

She went silent again, trying to think of something else she could ask, since she doubted he would speak. "So, what are you doing up here? Are you bored?" she asked him.

Tsim nodded to her unsure of what to do as he made sure the sword was un seeable since he didn't like taking it out unless he was really going to use it...and apparently he used it anyway...
