Private Finished Thunder And Lightning

"Well it's certainly teaching me that the ground is hard," he'd say with a grun, lightly patting the new cloud. "So, teach me what? Control?" then he thought a moment, ".....maybe respect?" he had treating the cloud a bit like a toy.

Leaning in close he'd listen, "do you hear that?" he asked, his ear pressed close to it, "sounds like...little thunder." Leaning back he'd focus and from the bottom of the cloud rain would briefly fall, leaving the earth below damp. "Interesting....I could use this for so many things."

He'd watch and listen to her, she was wise, even if she was technically young by dragon standards. "Then I'll learn to have better control over it, then others won't be able to use it," he'd say confidently, running his hand over the cloud, feelithe power it held within.

Taking a step back, he'd focus, the thunder in the cloud would increase and finally rain would begin to pour from the bottom. "There we go....," he'd say with a confident smile. "Whatcha think?" he'd ask her, the cloud's perception switching to snow.

His nose twitched as the snow was blown into his face, he'd chuckle a bit, "thank you." He'd missed this, training, learning to control the elements, it felt good, it felt natural to him. "Maybe I'll use it to maintain a small garden in the house for us."

Focusing back on the cloud the snow would shift to hail, the small ice pellets hitting the ground. "It's like there's pieces of different elements in the cloud," he'd say thoughtfully as he turned off the hail, "different forms of the elements all coming from the same source."

"A greenhouse sounds nice, we had one back home," he'd focus and the hail would stop. "Get us fresh vegetables for dinner," he'd have the cloud float around a bit, focusing, searching for the next affect he could conjure.

Finally he'd have it float a bit off and from it came a single bolt of lightning, it'd strike the ground, leaving a burn mark. "There we go...lightning at its purest," he'd make the cloud return to him, "yes, I'll find a lot of things to do with this." The many uses were already swirling in his mind, he was smiling confidently.

"Yes," he'd say without hesitation, making the cloud float back to him, "don't think I can main it long while using the weather affects, but some training would be nice." He'd ficus and the cloud would swirl, the sounds of a small thunderstorm coming from it.

"When you're ready," he'd tell her, his mind and his mini storm ready and eager to get started. Thus was exciting, this was going to be fun.
