"A dense one? Then again most of you are." Lucretia couldn't laugh or smile at Levina's comment because it wasn't entertaining to deal with another run of the mill narcissist. She dealt with that every day, hell she married that at one point. Instead, she just watched Levina in pure impassiveness. The only comment that had made her grin was the tongue comment and that was due to her own dirty mind.

Nothing Levina said had hurt her how could it, they were only words, and really all she had done was confirm the category Lucretia had placed her in. " If you thought so highly of yourself you wouldn't be quick to give out personal information to others without instigation. But again you felt the need to offer your name as if it was a cheap commodity. You should take more pride in yourself Levina it will go a long way." Lucretia's tone mocked Levinas of being partly amused and serious.

The girl actually needed less pride and more common sense but who was she to tell her that? Certainly not a person who cared enough. "Though you have a point the least you could do for being in my presence was offer me your name." Of course, she didn't mean that. Honestly, they could've gone this whole time not knowing a thing about each other and she'd have been fine. There was just no better way to kill the time she had while she was here.

Was this really all over her giving out her name and then asking for a name in return? Surely it couldn't be. A name was nothing to Levina. Even her own. She finished the last of her drink before speaking again.
"I'm not one of those unfortunate beings attached to a name. A name is merely a word someone uses to associate themselves. No different than 'me' or 'I'. I could change what I'm called and it would change nothing of me. There is nothing in a name."
Levina had picked up quick the sarcasm coming to play again. She took extreme pride in herself and how close to perfection she was, even when others didn't see it. There was only one person she wanted to see that perfection and it wasn't the person growing ever more annoying sitting next to her.
Tapping the empty glass on the bar top, Levina pointed a single finger in the air and hen down to her glass indicating she wanted another. As she did so, she could almost feel the level of drunkenness raising in the man next to her opposite Lucretia and could feel his eyes on her. Levina chose to ignore him for now as he wasn't doing anything but admiring her perfection.

Lucretia's mouth opened up to continue pestering Levina but immediately closed after she realized she'd just end up in a loop of mental gymnastics with a girl who clearly was lost on what Lucretia was doing. Without the realization of their insanity, how could she satiate herself on the situation? Instead, she just sighed and let Levina revel in her echo chamber of self-gratification.

But that didn't mean she had to end her game. Maybe she could turn the franchise around and pull some more entertainment. " Names can hold power if the person who holds it makes it so. In Russia, we used the word, Tsar, and in Germany, they used Kaiser all because a man centuries ago was great enough for it to echo across this whole planet. Doubting the power a name can have is foolish." Lucretia's eyes shot to the bar as a fresh drink was placed in front of her. She hadn't ordered anything so that was strange but the look of a man across from Levina made it clear where it had been sent from.

"Think of it this way. Your name is all that represents you when you are not around. The emotion or reaction it envokes in others is the power it holds. I guess in the end if it doesn't matter to you then your name can be as worthless as you want it to be. Some people don't want their name to hold power and that is perfectly fine."

Lucretia called over the bartender who had brought her the drink and said "I don't drink this. You can send it back"

Levina listened carefully to the lady sitting next to her even though she didn't look over at her. There was wisdom in her words, but Levina would never admit it. At least in front of her. There problem with trying to hide it was Levina was terrible at hiding what she was feeling.
"Then why would you not want your name out there? Especially if you have as empowering of a presence as you alluded to earlier. That way when it is brought up again, they may not remember you but they'd remember the name and the presence."
Levina didn't care what people attached to her name. There was only one person that mattered to her. Eyes cut down to the drink that was placed on the bar. An eyebrow raised slightly as a grin appeared when she mentioned the bartender could take it back.
"A problem known all too well."

"My name is already out there. I give it to people all the time if I deem it necessary or required. That doesn't mean I have to give it to everyone I meet. Though to answer your question I'll repeat what I've already said my name means something to me and therefore I don't carelessly give it away. On the other hand that doesn't diminish the weight of my name. I don't need to be remembered by everyone just the people I care about. A name can mean a lot to a small group or an entire system."

Lucretia gave a small yawn as the watch on her wrist ticked over to another hour of her being here. She had a small bit of time left so she wasn't in a rush to move or go anywhere. The casino was only a brisk walk away anyway.

"Also I never claimed to have an overwhelming presence. I only asked if that was the reason you gave your name so easily given how you feel you are owed people's names based on who you are. I can't imagine the people you work with feel as much reverence for yourself as you."

Her mix of seriousness and straight face lies seemed to be the key to messing with the girl. It wasn't like she was actively trying to make Levina understand her more than she was trying to get a rise out of her and keep her off balance. She wore an elongated closemouthed smile as she adjusted herself in her chair and waved over her bartender.

"Bring me the finale Horace, and whatever my bill is."

The bartender nodded as he set about his business.

"Semantics."
Levina waved a single hand dismissively before looking over at her partner almost admiring her hair for a moment before twisting her lips and looking at the bartender.
"Ooohhhh. The finale? What's that?"
Levina's voice was intrigued. It was almost like she had totally forgotten the conversation they had just had as she moved to a different subject. She was started to feel drained again, the drink and bodies only momentarily giving her the spark she had.
It was then that the older gentleman nect to her made his move to try and drunkenly put his arm around Levina. She felt it in the air around her as electrical impulses fired to move his muscles.
"Don't. Even. Think. About it."
She spoke without looking over to the man who paused mid motion and then sheepishly got out of his seat to leave.

Lucretia just stared into the eyes of the man as he placed an unwarranted arm on Levina's shoulder. To say she was intentionally threatening him would be wrong as she was simply curious as to how the scene would play out. Despite that, him locking eyes with her and hearing Levina's words quickly made him quit while he was healthy and retreat from the premises. Lucretia's head followed until he had made a proper distance before looking back to Levina. "Its a drink from my home. It is actually called Fivaliek but a friend of mine misheard and had them order it as the Finale. " She rolled her eyes thinking of her ex-husband's "jokes". The alien word would probably sound strange to Levina but it put her at peace to know she wasn't feeding into the erasure of her culture.

"Long story short its what I like to end my nights with." As she said that a large mug of the foaming green and orange liquid was placed in front of her. Without delay, she took a deep chug of the drink before slamming it back down onto the table. The soft sting it left in her body always took her back to the day before coming to earth and the life she lived before then.

"Well makes sense that it is called finale then if you end the night with it. But it is called what again?"
Levina twisted her lips in a very matter of factly way as she spoke. Blue eyes found the drink as it was set down. She took in the colors as Lucretia downed it before slamming the mug back on the bar top with some authority.
Noticing the satisfied look she gave afterwards, Levina was highly interested in the drink. However, she knew better than to just order anything willy nilly on the island. Some things just weren't suitable for humans.
"Seems you rather enjoy it. Why would you only get one at the end?"
She cocked her head to a side letting her blue hair fall over the shaven side of her head as she examined the mug once more.
"What's in it?"

That was a lot of questions..to which Lucretia responded "That was a lot of question." Her small smirk disappeared as she took another large chug of the drink. " I order one because I know how to control my drinking despite how much I like it. As to what's in it, a lot of things I feel your body couldn't handle so it's best you don't drink any. "

Of course she had no proof to back that up. She'd seen a few humans drink some of it and it usually ended with them blackout drunk by the end for the mug. Her friends usually took the drink in smaller doses or just mixed it for a little kick. Given that Levina could've been anything it wouldn't be right for her to assume she couldn't have it....but it would be fun.

"Sticking to that concoction over there is probably in your best interest." Her tone had a slight teasing to it but not enough to be outright mocking. She was more interested in how the woman would respond.

Levina narrowed her eyes at Lucretia after the comment was made. It might not have been personal but the blue eyed beauty took it that way. Ever since the experiments, Levina hadn't been able to get intoxicated because of her supercharged body, but poison and lethal things still affected her. She merely picked what she drank based on taste and aesthetics.
"Is it lethal to humans....or just strong?"
Her tone was clipped and irritated. She hated people telling her what she couldn't do, but was far from an idiot. If the drink wasnt like drinking bleach, Levina wanted it. If only to prove a point.
It never crossed Levina's mind that Lucretia could honestly be concerned that the drink might kill her. It was a challenge and Levina wasn't about to back down because of words. Death...now that's a different reason to back down.
