A loud thud pierced the air as Lucretia drink glass hit the bar. Were it not for the clamoring of other customers and the clinking of dishes going on in the kitchen one might've found it abrupt and disruptive. That's what she liked about this place it was simple and inelegant. The drinks were okay and the people were lively but not to the point of annoyance. The last thing she wanted to do was deal with more loud and flamboyant people, she got enough of that at work.

"Bourbon." She pointed to her mug as the bartender came to collect the glass.

When it came to drinking places she enjoyed this spot. She'd visited enough after work each day that many of the bartenders knew her drink schedule. It usually ended in either whiskey or vodka but she never made a point to complain about what was put in front of her as long as it was good.

She watched as the fresh glass was put in front of her with a somber smile. A few more and she would probably head back to the casino and have that meeting with Ovidio about moving money back into their smaller business ventures. The last thing they needed was to let the money rest. "That idiot....one day I'll kill him."

With a big gulp, she set in on her fresh drink.

Levina.jpegMost of Levina's nights consisted of hitting some form of a bar before heading home. That is if she didn't work late. This night was not a late night so she found herself out on the town for a little. Dressed in her work attire, black slacks hugged her small hips where a white button up was tucked in. Black heels could only do so much for the short personal assistant.
She moved over to the bar and flagged the bartender down to get her drink order going. "What can I getcha sweetie?" The bartender said with a kind smile. One that was not returned as Levina scowled.
"One. Don't call me sweetie. Two. Midnight kiss. Top shelf on the vodka."
Without being able to really get drunk or a buzz, Levina always preferred quality over quantity with her drinks. She sighed and took a seat as the bartender slunk away. Reaching up with a single hand, she undid the messy bun she had thrown her aqua hair into for work. Electric blue eyes started down at the bar top four a moment trying to collect her energy.

Lucretia took another gulp of her drink when the blue-haired pleasure sat down next to her. From the look on her face to the demeanor she carried Lucretia could tell what kind of customer she was going to be, and she was here for it. With a quiet twirl of her drink, she watched the events unfold in front of her. From the snappy correction to the scowl she wore with it. The girl seemed to be having a rather rough night of it. Maybe she needed a drink more than her?

Giving the woman's outfit a once over from the side of her eyes she noticed the stark difference in their attire. Lucretia was just wearing an army green sleeveless shirt and black jeans. Lucretia had clocked out for the day and was not in her usual business attire which was about as professional as the ladies. She was most likely a businesswoman or at least one who had to dress professionally for her work.

A small Hmph escaped her as she sipped her drink once more. She eyed the bartender who was making the woman's drink to see how she was reacting but another bartender approaching her drew her attention away.

"Another one?" they said.

"Bring two. Lucretia said clearing the rest of her glass and sliding it over before it was promptly taken away.

Levina's blue eyes seemed faded compared to their normal vibrant color. As she sat there, with her hair falling around face, the color seemed to slowly return to their normal more electric blue. The day had taken a lot out of Levina.
Hearing the Hmph from next to her, a hand flipped her hair over to her right once again revealing the shaved side of her head. Levina turned and looked to the person sitting beside her as they ordered another drink.
"Two? Rough night?"
Her voice sounded as if it was straining to remain peppy. She couldn't give up yet. She had to be better. But her body was disagreeing and it was making her more irritable than normal.

A small closemouthed smile came to Lucretia's face as she realized she was being addressed. It wasn't her initial action to turn and see who was talking to her as it would give away the devilish grin forming on the other side of her mouth. "No rougher than the others." She left her words there as two new glasses were placed in front of her.

Starting in on one she continued "Sounds like you've had a fun one." She made a small point to the second fresh glass "Feel free if you want." Maybe the girl just needed someone to be nice to her after a hard day. While a free drink wouldn't do anything for her if she was in a shower mood it seemed to be the universal cure for a lot of different people.

" Sure snapping at the bartender will slow down the speed your drink gets here."

"That's putting things lightly."
It wasn't so much that things at work were hard, it was just the volume. The electricity coursing through her body took a toll on her at the end of the day. The more she did, the worse it was.
Reaching out with a hand she snatched up the drink and took a sip of it quickly. Levina didn't bother with a thanks as she assumed it was for her already anyways. Her now back to normal electric blue eyes looked to the bartender preparing her drink and huffed.
"If he got his feelings hurt from that, I've got news for him."
Most people wouldn't find Levina physically intimidating, but she acted as though she was.

"No, I'm sure bartenders get worse than that on the regular given how many people can't hold their alcohol or don't know when to stop drinking."

Lucretia had been here enough to see how rowdy some of the regulars could get when they were in a mood. Whenever she was in a mood, which was almost every full moon, she just grabbed her ex-husband for a quick and loving punching session, or at the very least went to the forest to run it out. Being shameful in public would just draw public attention and provoke people to dig into hers and her family's life.

"So what was it? Bad day at work or did a lot of people call you sweetie today? You walked in with an edge to you." A small smirk appeared on her face as she sipped the drink once more. The drink was losing its bite and she could tell that is was probably time for the next drink in the gauntlet.

"It really is pathetic."
She responded to the comment about people getting rowdy here with a bit of contempt. She knew people couldn't live up to her expectations and it annoyed her. Well no one could but one person, but he was not the topic of conversation even though he was always on Levina's mind.
A tired sigh escaped her lips as she finally fully took in her conversation partner. There were stark differences in the two. There must obvious being their hair color. The almost perfect black seemed to make Levina's already bright aqua color shine more.
"Can't a girl just walk around with a edge? And I highly recommend you not call me that."
Something about that specific pet name set her off. It was reserved for very specific and special people in her life. None of whom here here at the moment.

Finally turning to face her new talking companion Lucretia's smirk was revealed

"I love a woman with an edge it's entertaining at the very least"

Lucretia leaned her body onto the table and gave a small closemouthed smile as the now empty glass made another thud onto the table. Was she truly flirting? No. Did she find the girl entertaining as mentioned before? Most definitely. Her blue eyes were attractive and her hairstyle reminded her of a previous fling.

"And don't worry, out of all the names I've called people the word sweetie comes up very little."

The girl's threat didn't really bother her at all. It was basically her job to hear people threaten her or her place of work all day so this was just a watered down scenario. The girl wasn't drunk or arguing over a bunch of lost money making the situation much less annoying.

She finished up the drink she was offered and sat it down on the bartop. The thud her glass made wasn't as solid as her conversation partners, but Levina didn't care to make a show of it. She wanted to get to her other actually ordered drink as it came out.
The blue drink almost perfectly matched her hair. One of the reasons she ordered it besides the taste. Had to keep up with aesthetics afterall.
"That's a good thing you don't use it often."
Her threat wasn't an empty one but she also never cared if people took her seriously. Her smaller demeanor added to her harmless appearance, but Levina knew she was anything but. The comment about loving a woman with an edge caught her slightly off guard and it showed on her face.
"Really? Well then. Name's Levina."
