Brianna walked out onto the lawn and sat down underneath a willow tree. She wrapped her sweater around her as the cool breeze whipped around her. Her hair came out of her ponytail and flew aimlessly around her face. She sat thinking about her adventures here so far, and how many interesting people she'd encountered within the days. A light rain started falling onto the ground, but Brianna had no intentions of moving.. She just leaned against the tree, and fell into a light slumber..
Linda walked out of the school and onto the lawn. It was starting to rain... but oh well... she'd just get wet, no harm done.
She saw someone sleeping against a tree, and couldn't resist the temptation to scare her to wake her up. She walked quietly, making sure she didn't step on any twigs, until she reached the girl.
"HI THERE!" Linda screamed.

"AHHH!!!" Brianna screamed and toppled over sideways. She sat back up and saw a girl standing in front of her. "Oh, hello. You scared me..."
"Oh, I'm Brianna!" She said with a wide grin. The wind started to pick up, but with a wave of her wand, Brianna blocked the wind and rain from hitting around the willowtree.

Linda hesitated for a moment. "Um... my powers? Well.. er.. um.. super speed, super hearing, super strength, um.. invisibility, and I can control other peoples dreams... um.. yeah..."
She looked around the willow tree. The rain had stopped around it!
"That wand of yours must come in handy lot," she said.

"Wow! That's awesome! Yeah... My wand does a lot. I'm not really that good of a witch though.. I can do basic spells, but nothing fancy. Yeah, it's saved a butt on an occasion or two. You see, I could have gone to school for Witchcraft and Wizardry, but, I wanted to meet different people with different powers, so I came here. :) I really hope it was the right choice."
Linda nodded. "The only reason I came here was because I had no where else to go. But... all that is going to change." She smiled slightly, still hiding her abnormal canine teeth.

"I don't know", said Brianna. She gazed up at the dark sky, and the lightning. "I think we might need to head in. This weather-sheild doesn't protect us against lightning."
Linda nodded. "Alright. I have some homework to do anyway." She stood up, and looked at the rain falling.
"So do we have to run to the building and hope we don't get soaked, or can you make a whether shield that goes from here to the school, or...?"
