It was a little weird, being on a bed of plants and covering oneself in a picnic blanket. The blanket wasn't too scratchy at least, but he imagined he wasn't going to get a good night's rest like this no matter what. At least he had Nerina. He let her snuggle closer to him, and he draped an arm over her. It was a little odd they were naked, but... eh. It wasn't his first, and she didn't seem to mind.

“Well, not always,” Eric mentioned, sleepily. Nerina was rather chilly against his body. He liked it, but he did tug the blanket a little closer to him to counterbalance her coolness. “But most people don't have late picnics in tide pools either, so I wouldn't worry about it.” Eric smiled. It wasn't like he was going to ask for more from her, not tonight, so she had little to worry about them sleeping together.

Besides... he was tired. Nearly dying was a good motivator to not get too rough around water. He'd rather just enjoy her like this. Just how she wanted to enjoy him. Maybe there was more to this relationship after all.
