The wrong paths in life

"It's her isn't it? That girl? You want to be with her now don't you?" Kacey said questioning him.

ian didn't respond for a moment, 'No..." he said thinking that was the only thing he could say right now. "I'm just really confused right now, Ican't figure any of this out, why is it all my decision..?" he said putting his hand in his pockets. "I'm tryign to figure all this out, but all this is goign so fast, one minute your not gonna go out with me, then I meet someone else, then you tell me your breaking up with mikeh, then this and that and everythign else, it's so dam confusing and all these people tell me they can help me and its all a load of bull." he said "Its like evryone is against me." he said, "I haven't made a decision yet." he said, "and its becoming increasingly harder to make one." he said.

"Fine I'll make a decision for you. Go out with her." Kacey said dumping her flowers on the ground. It wasn't a hard decision when she choice Ian over Mikah, it wasn't a hard decision when he wanted her to leave him and now it suddenly was a hard decision for him. Kacey was tired of this, " Just go out with her."

Ian moved his bangs back. He didn't want to say yes to what she had just said. He considered just walking away, but that wouldn't solve his problems. He couldn't just say he what he usually said because everything he was saying was starting to seem like a broken record and he was going back and forth, each time it seemed like he hurt someone more and he really didn't know what to do. He knew she had chosen between him and Mikah. "Kacey..." he said as he made a fist in his pocket because of how frustrated he was trying to think of what to say, "are you saying we can't go out anymore because of what I just said?" he asked, "I know I didn't word that right.' he said, "I wasn't saying we shouldn't I was merely asking if we'd still be friends if that happened, which meant I was going to choose you.' he said, "I just know too many people that has happened to and I was making sure." he said. "So did I just ruin my chances with you?" he asked.

Now Kacey had decided something for herself. "Your confusing me." She stated, "But I still want to be with you and if we end up going out then we end up going out." She said simply trying not make everything so confusing. "but..... I can tell you really like that other girl too....."

"It's more that I'm trying to make everyoen happy here." he said, "I'm just trying to think of a way to go out with you and not have her feel bad." he said.

"Not everyone is going to end up happy Ian." Kacey said, this whole thing was starting to make her head hurt. "Maybe we should talk about this later, you should go and sleep or be by yourself and think or something."

"Alright." said Ian was he walked over and picked up the flowers. he put the flowers in her hand and kissed her on the cheek, "Good night Kacey." he said as he turned to head back to school.

Kacey watched him go, then stared at the flowers in her hand. "Bye."
