"Yeah I know. But I'll be fine." Kacey said, she knew this wouldn't last forever, someday the dreams would stop and she wouldn't have to stay up. It was only a matter of time to her.
Ian stopped. he had thought of something he wanted to say, "Do you still like Mikah?" he asked, "Please be honest, because I was thinking, a lot of my friends have gone out with girls that were very good friends with them, and things didn't work out and they were never friends again." he said still not having turned around. "I was thinking, I didn't want that happeneing to us." he said.
"Yeah I don't hate him now or anything but I still do like him." Kacey listened to him, "Are you trying to tell me that when I break up with Mikah you don't want to 'ruin' our relationship by going out with me?" She said. "Well that's fine." She added.
'Kinda." he said not likign the way she put it, "I mean, I've shared a lot about myself that I haven't with anyone else here and your probably my best friend.' he said, "I just can't imagine what I'd do if that did happen." he said, "Would that make you mad or do you agree." he said.
Ian looked at the floor thinking he had just made another wrong decision of his. "I didn't say it was final, I was just throwing it out there." he said, "I will still go out with you, it was just something I had in mind before we did that i wanted to clear up before we did." he said, "if something were to happen and we broke up, we'd still be friends right?" he asked.
