The Wrong Neck of The Woods [Karlos]

This time Mochi kept moving when she was pushed again. She knew now that it was for her to quickly get away. Even so, she worried about her knight as she was bolting for her life. She hoped that he wouldn't get killed in her place. This creature was a horrible beast of nature. Screw this demonic bear! Her hair flew back naturally as she moved through the woods. Her legs were in a lot of pain due to all the running, but she could handle it. Suddenly she saw the werewolf flying right past her. Her eyes widen in shock and caused her to hesitate.

This hesitation became a quick problem as the beast managed to get within melee range of her. Jouka reacted defensively as she hair suddenly stretched out and around Mochi like a shield. The shield came up as she tried to react in time so that the horrible creature wouldn't have her in its clutches. She was running now, but that moment of hesitation might have cost her something. She tried her best to pick up the speed to no avail as the monster performed its move. However, just before it collided with the hair shield, she heard a screech of pain that caused her to turn around. Sebastian managed to finish off the creature, and it dissipated to ashes.

The girl beamed and immediately moved to hug Seb after the threat was eliminated. She glanced up at him with stars in her eyes.

"Thank you so much! I owe you my life!"

It was like a magical fairy tale. The valiant prince saved the distressed damsel. Suddenly the forbidden forest felt a lot less scary with him around.

Mochi found herself smitten by him already. How could she be crushing on someone this quickly? Was she that easy to win over? Even so, she was glad to have Sebastian here for her. He was her hero and protector. Well, second protector considering that Jouka would do anything to defend her. She had to thank Jouka as well for putting up a shield like he did. She mentally told him that. That and Seb's comment made him smirk as the hair fist bumped the werewolf.

"Pretty damn good thanks to you. You're good people, Seb."

Now with the threat gone, they could get out of here. Mochi giggled a bit at Sebby's jokes. It was nice to get rid of the tension in this dark place. She was no longer afraid. The girl prepared to leave with her guide; that was when he suddenly dropped onto his knee. Her smile faded quickly as she moved to his side.

"Your leg's hurt! Let me help you Seb!"

"I can help ya out, bro. We owe you one."

Her hair moved to wrap around him as she tried to grab his arm with her hands in order to help him up. While actually carrying him would be some struggle, the hair could most certainly give him support. She wanted to make sure her hero didn't make his injury worse.

Mochi was satisfied that Sebastian was going along with her way. She was not about to let his pride get in the way of his well-being. Besides, she secretly enjoyed being in such close proximity to him. She could feel his attractive body leaning on her. A content smile remained on her face as the two of them walked out the forest together. She couldn't believe how lucky she got back there. Her head didn't glance up, so she didn't see Sebastian suddenly turn his head. She also didn't know that there was one problem with her fairy tale prince:

He was taken.

Not just taken, but dating her fashion club leader Izzy.

Trouble was on the way, but that was not in the futakuchi-onna's mind. Her mind dived deeply in the clouds as she re-imagined what just happened in the forest. There was an imaginary golden glow around her hero. Jouka almost called her out on her fantasies, but then those thoughts were broken off by Sebastian separating from her. She turned her attention to him as he noted he would be fine from here. He proved it by showing how fast his leg healed. Wow, werewolves were amazing! His next move was whipping out a phone and handing it to her. Yes, she'd get his number! She immediately returned the favor as they traded phones.

"Thank you, I'll keep that in mind should another demon bear decide that I would make a wonderful snack."

"You got it, Seb!"

Both mouths laughed as they finished adding in their information and prepared to swap phones once more. Now there was someone else that she could contact; this time not only a friend but a reliable guy that she could maybe hit it off with.
