Private The Wild Hunt

Val had been cooped up long enough. The school, the city, it was all so noisy, and had its weird restrictions. The woods though, more specifically the forbidden forest was much more to his groups speed. Valerian's goals in this were twofold; find Dark Crystal Academy and see if it made for a suitable base camp. The second would be, find one of these supposedly terrible monsters and kill it. They were going to make these woods theirs. Even if someone were to come after them, they'd be more than ready.

He was waiting under a tree at their appointed meeting spot twirling a crossbow bolt in his fingers. Queen Thorn was already drawn, ready for action. His claws were sharpened, and he was focused. It wouldn't be long now before everyone else showed up.

"Well, we did have to make some adjustments. Still adjusting, really but, we should get to it," he grinned, slinging Queen over his shoulder. He looked at his group, Rho was likely there, out of sight as she often was.

"I think our first move should be investigating the abandoned school. The prey's not going anywhere. It's high time we carve out something that we can call our own during our stay here," he said as he began to head out into the woods.

Val looked back at them as he moved. "Hardly anyone comes out here from what I've heard anyway. We just need to learn this forest, and make it our hunting ground."

"You all realize this forest supposedly has some powerful beasts dwelling in it, no? Magic has apparently mutated them into ferocious beasts. Sounds at least a little bit like home..." he smirked.

It wasn't too long before the party reached the remains of DCA. Val stopped at what would be the gates of the school, giving it a wary look. "Here we are... keep your guard up."
