He was, quite honestly, relieved that the charges had been dropped. How in the world that had even happened he wasn't sure, but he was not about to question such a good thing. "A misunderstanding, was all." He replied to her, before turning to get a better look at her. "Perhaps you should rest, Tara. You appear quite tired." His stomach once again grumbled in hunger, his body's regeneration now slowing down due to lack of energy. "I am afraid I do not have my wallet on me, otherwise I would offer paying for a taxi cab to bring you back to the school."

He wondered if and when a nurse would come to bring him food. Unlikely it was nearly enough, but any amount at this rate would do. If he could just get back to his apartment, he would be fine. But being unable to walk made that impossible. He did not want to bother Tara more than he already had, and decided against asking her to find food for him. He figured she might feel a little uncomfortable doing that, regardless.

He gave her a rather surprising look when she returned with all the food. "Where-" He stopped asking when he noticed her practically collapsing on the bed. Very well, he would allow her to simply rest. She deserved it anyways, he figured. The food she gave him was gone in pretty much no more than five minutes anyways. And when the nurse came in with a meal she gave the waste created from the eaten food a strange look, but when Alistair smiled at her and acted overjoyed from receiving more food, she decided not to question it and simply handed it to him.

She was really shocked, however, when he asked her to bring the tray back before she had even exited the room. Not because the food was not to his liking, but because it was already gone.

Assuming Tara ended up falling asleep where she was, he too would end up falling asleep, He gladly would have moved her to a more comfortable position, but considering he could barely move he decided that she would forgive him for not doing so. If she did indeed fall asleep as he expected her to do so, he would invoke a Lesser Healing Light as planned to restore his spinal cord faster.

But to be on the safe side, he planned on resting in that very bed for another night. Or at least until Tara woke up and started asking him questions again (which he expected her to do).
