Sonlath just shrugged. "Nothing really..." His voice sounded raspy like he hadn't talked in weeks and that was just the first time he had during the time she let him leave...Sonlath wondered if he even had control over his black paper anymore...but he didn't care...he probobly did since he still did feel it

Cordelia nodded at his reply. It didn't sound to her like he had been talking a lot lately. And, for the first time, she noticed that he actually looked sober. She smiled inwardly, but didn't allow an actual smile to come to her face, unsure if she wanted him to know that she had noticed. "Same here," she said, her voice really quiet. "How long have you been out here?"

"A few weeks..." He admitted not wanting to...but he had...he hadn't like life very much as a human...but every day seemed better as an animal...not sure if she would approve

"A few weeks..."

She nearly had a heart attack after hearing him say that. A few weeks?! She didn't allow her shock to show, and merely nodded her head. To be honest, she really wasn't sure if she liked that. What if he got hurt, or got into some sort of trouble? Who would help him? She was silent, just thinking. She finally came to the conclusion that if he was happy living like that... it wasn't her place to tell him he couldn't. It wasn't like she couldn't come see him occasionally, right?

"Cool..." she started off. "Are you happy living out here?"

"More then I was living where I was before..." He admitted...he didn't like living here but he liked it better then living in a world being forced to do things he didn't want to and almost never get his way...that could sound spoiled but from just wanting to be alone but not even able to be trusted and being told that to his face not audiably but more from a facial expression...then there was always the people who thought he needed help without even listening to him...

Cordelia offered him a soft smile, honestly able to say that she was glad. If he was sober, and happy... then what right did she have to interfere? Even if living out here wasn't entirely safe, he had been doing it for a long time so far, and she knew her little brother could easily take care of himself. "I'm happy, then," she said, that smile still remaining on her face.

He saw the edge of the forest coming up and wondered if she would even want him to walk into town since he wasn't much of a human and more of a beast now...from what she saw anyway...

Cordelia saw that the edge was closer, and realized she really didn't really have much to do, and she didn't feel like going to the academy. So, why not wander for a little bit? "Are you gonna stay here, or do you want to come to the city with me?" she asked him, not really caring what he wanted to do.

He nodded...not knowing how this would go...if anything bad did happen...then he would just run off as a wolf...but until that moment...he would stay with her and see if he could go the whole day being happier then he was before...

Cordelia smiled again when he said he would. She was going to make sure that nothing bad happened, just for his sake. Besides, she was his older sister, she kind of figured it was her job to look after him. As soon as they were out of the forest, she looked at him. "Is there anything you want to do?" she asked him.
