Jira saw his target it looked like a small little girl, Jira didn't care though he grew hungrier and hungrier and didn't care who he had to kill to get his food not aware what Cordelia's thoughts would be about it...

Cordelia's dark blue eyes widened when she saw who he was going to go after. That poor little girl... no. No, she wasn't going to allow it. The mother in her wouldn't be able to bear it. "JIRA!!!!" she yelled, not caring what she had to do to stop him from hurting that girl. Someone so young didn't deserve to have their life taken from them. "Don't you EVEN DARE, JIRA!" She glanced at the girl, hoping one of her parents were near by and that they would get her out of there.

Jira didn't really care as he was moving quick not as fast as super speed, just meters from her approaching from behind her, he seemed deaf to her words similar to how a blood lusted vampire would be however he wasn't using it...

Cordelia quickly ran and stepped in front of Jira, behind the girl. She glanced at the girl. "You'd best find your parent before someone decides to harm you," she said. Whether the girl listened or not was her choice, but she was hoping more than anything she would run. The widow's eyes went back to Jira.

"Find someone older..." she hissed quietly. "Don't you ever DARE hurt someone that young while in my presence."

Jira looked up and glared as he stood straight up. "And why does it matter there all humans in the end and you made me something else entirly dont think I dont know about me being the only one to control blood you segregate me more into a monster and wont even let me kill something that scorns us." He watched as the girl turned screamed and ran away from both of them.

Cordelia ignored what he said for just a moment, watching the girl as she screamed and ran away. Oh, yes, scream at someone who just saved your life... she thought to herself, rolling her eyes. She looked back to Jira.

The widow sighed at what he said. "Oh, yes, go on and act like I didn't want you to be a normal vampire. Think what you want about that, but I don't think you're a monster," she said. And if others did, who cares? People that judge others were just stupid in her opinion.

"... and wont even let me kill something that scorns us."

She rubbed her forehead. "So you apparently think it's fair to let someone so young lose their life?" she asked. "Oh, yes. Let someone who has barely lived die. That's more than fair." The last part was hissed out of anger, but not anger directed at him. From the way she said it, it seemed that she was angry at something else.

"Yeah so what kids die every day you cant save them all so why bother saving any?" He said having no knowledge of kindness or fortitude in his heart and also not knowing what happened to her and he did however catch that tone in her voice. "And guess what I am a monster whether you think so or not."

The boy didn't understand, did he? He just couldn't understand that even saving one person was worth it, apparently. Plus, he didn't know that she had been a mother once, and that it always stopped her from causing physical pain to children. "Even if you save one..." she said quietly, "it's worth it. Just because people die doesn't mean you should just allow them to if you can stop it..." She was desperately trying to hide the sad tone in her voice, though she failed a bit.

"And guess what I am a monster whether you think so or not."

She raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? And how so?" Cordelia asked, unable to wait for his answers.

"How about not having anything inside of you but machinery wanting to kill everything around you when you have the ability...and dont mention yourself I still need you." He grumbled not having any other vampire he could go to...

"How about not having anything inside of you but machinery wanting to kill everything around you when you have the ability....."

Cordelia shook her head. "You don't have machinery in you anymore, I'm sure," she said. "Which means you don't have to be considered a monster anymore." She had been about to mention herself, but blinked when he told her not to, and was even confused when he said he actually needed her.

She could honestly say she was confused... and actually felt a bit happy (for once). She was needed by someone? It made her feel good for a moment, and it brought a smile to her face, but it didn't last long. "Whatever you say..." she said, trying to sound cold like she usually did, but unable to do so as best as she could. Even if the moment had left, she still felt good that he had admitted he needed her. "Come on. You still need to feed... but this time, from someone older, ok?"
