Miles decides to sit down while explaining unsure of how long it would take. “Well I really don’t know much about my dad myself; he’s a young Efreet I think about 173. An Efreet is a type of fire demon. As a demon if there was a strong enough force or someone he was willing to help was to summon he would be bound into a contract with them. Efreets sort of look like jinn except covered in blazing fire. My dad doesn’t like insubordination and is very strict about his rules. But when there’s free time he’s pretty cool to hang around with.” Miles started considering how he was half demon and wondered to himself if these applied to him. “I don’t know much more than that about his or Efreet history since we were living off the outskirts of a town.”

Looking up at the sky Miles thought about becoming stronger and being accepted by humans and demons. Looking at Nakata Miles said “I may decide to take you over there. The demon world doesn’t look like you’d expect. It might be just that plane of the demon world but the air was clean and the fields that my dad and I didn’t accidently burn were verdant with plant life.” Miles, deciding that if he became good friends with somebody here he’d learn how to take them to see that plane. Sighing about how long this explanation was and how much he was getting off track Miles decided to go to the next question. “Well let’s see my powers, you’ve seen my wings, I can breathe, manipulate and withstand fire. I also can change my appearance a little bit and I can regenerate sort of like you can. I think mines a little slower though.”

“Then there’s the weapon smithing that one’s one of my favorites. The weapon takes on its characteristics from the materials used to make it, the adornments, and the crafter or crafters. So two swords may come out similar but they shouldn’t be the same.” Thinking about everything said Miles wonders what he left out. “Oh yeah,” Miles says after a second,” Silver buns when it touches my skin never really understood that. Being in water can negate out my powers, and hearing is increased but loud noises can get really bothersome.” Sanding up Miles stretched and said “I think that covers most of it. Anything else?” Miles started thinking he would have to call his dad to bring his stuff soon. Nakata might see him then.

Naka could still hear the words but at that point he was focused more on the intent. His eyes turned white and the black streaks in his hair started to form designs, almost like a Rorschach. The black areas took the shape of flames, then weapons and smithing hammers, and finally black feathered wings (as if there was a choice in color), before finally becoming the simple black streaks they originally were. When they did, his hair shifted to red, flames sprouted on his right arm as black feathered wings erupted from his back. It was like when he had learned the mode he had named 'eternal drive' from Alistair.
"I suppose this confirms it. I'll share my materials with you if you want to try to do something with them." He said as he focused his mind on relinquishing the power to where ever it had come from within him.
"I think you for teaching me. You have no idea how much this has helped me, and shown me the way." He said as his form reverted back to his normal self. He would have to take time to learn about this new power later.
"Seems an odd chance meeting for us to have met right now, but I'll help you in any way I can if it's within my power."

Miles caught off guard by the transformation that Nakata had done jumped back a bit from him. “Now, I’ve seen some strange things but this has got to take first place. Does it look like that every time you copy somebody? I don't know how to describe that.Wow you can catch somebody off guard.” Miles took a deep breath, tried to rebuild his composure, and thought about it. This was part of the deal; some smithing could cool his nerves, nut for that he would need his book. “Where would I go to find out my dorm assignment? I have to pick something up before I look at any materials.” He would use the fire on the hands for helping with smithing but for Nakata to be able to take in his powers just from listening to him describe them, this kid had to be something else.

Naka smiled at Miles' question.
"Only with yours and other one I copied." He explain as he activated his eternal drive, his hair turning blond and his body emitting a powerful golden glow that gave off light. Just as quickly as he demonstrated this, he ended it.
"i think it has something to do with my cellular structure. I'm not any more structurally stable than any other human, my body can't handle multiple powers all at once as I would assume that would increase the rate of apoptosis and decrease structural integrity while sending my mitochondria into overdrive." He explained. It wasn't 100% but it was the best theory he had and since the equipment at starlight academy, as good as it was, did not include an electron scanning microscope he was pretty sure he wouldn't get a chance to run any tests. With no way to perform electrophoresis, he couldn't do more than hypothesize, even though he was fairly sure that he was right.
"Well, it's as good a time as any to get started if you want to look at my materials. I you can find someplace to access room assignments in the student housing office, we can stop by there whenever you wish. " He said with a smile.

“I would like to stop by the dorm and so I can have my things brought over from the other plane,” Miles had stored them over there so he wouldn’t have to carry it. “I’m going to have to summon it over from another plane. It shouldn’t take too long to and I have to get my compendium from in there. It helps me keep track of what certain materials will do and where I can get it from. I have to do it myself for it to register the effect.” That book was a going away get from his father and he planned on using it to its fullest. He would use it to help him make one of the strongest weapons ever. It would be a weapon that would be remembered by the world as a weapon used for good and that was created through his effort for ages to come. “Lead the way my new friend.” Miles said to Nakata while still wondering if what other powers he had copied from others. For now the dream could wait.

Nodding, Nakata headed toward the building to the student housing office. Once there he was sure that they could get him taken care of.
"Once you've managed to gather what you need and get a dorm, you can call or text my cell phone and i'll bring the materiars from my room. He said as he pulled a piece of paper from his backpack and began to write down the number. Once done, he handed a paper to miles with the number '668-555-3279' on it with the assumption that he had a cell phone. He then remembered that the cell phone tower on this island was privately operated by the same company that funded Starlight academy, whatever that company might have been, and that a new student might not necessarily have access to that yet.
"You can call me from the housing office if you don't have a cell phone or don't want to switch it to the island's towers yet." He said.

“Ok see ya in a bit.” Miles said as he waved to Nakata and walked into the student housing office. Starting to feel relaxed after everything that was going on Miles walked up to the Man sitting behind the desk. “Who would I ask to find out my room assignment?” Miles wondered what it would be like living here.
The man responded to Miles after looking him up and down, “Go down that hall and it’s the second door on the right.” Miles thanked the man and headed down the hallway that he was told. Arriving at the door Miles knocked “Come on in,” he heard a friendly voice say from inside. Opening the door he saw a blonde haired lady with clear blue eyes. Miles walked up to her desk and shook hands with her. “Hello I’m Miles Newby,” Miles said introducing himself, “Are you the one who tells students their dorm assignments?”
“Yes, I am. Let’s see Miles Newby, hmmm.” The Lady said while looking at her Laptop. “Your dorm number is 213, is there anything else you need?” she asked politely. “No, thank you,” Miles responded as he turned to walk out the door. He looked back at her and said “See ya later and thanks,” before heading out of the building. Miles then headed towards the dorm. When he got there he walked up the steps to the second floor in a hurry. He wanted to get everything ready quick. Arriving at room 213 he used his key to open the door and proceeded inside. It seemed he had gotten a room to himself.
Reaching into his back pocket Miles pulled out the gate stone that held his luggage. Setting it down in front of him, Miles put his finger to it as a magic circle started to form around him. Focusing on the stone the gate stone started to glow. “Come before me,” Miles said as the magic circle started to glow. In a bright flash everything ended. The Magic circle started to fade having done its job. In front of Miles were two black suitcases. In one was his clothes and living supplies, while in the other were his smithing supplies and the first sword he had made. It wasn’t a magic weapon it was just a normal longsword. Opening the suitcase to make sure his book was inside, Miles saw it. He pulled it out and looked at the cover. Only three words were on the cover “Belongs to Miles.” Putting the book back in the suitcase Miles took out his phone. Looking at the phone he saw that he didn’t have any service. Sighing Miles stood the suitcase on its wheels. Hopefully Nakata would come into the lobby soon and Miles could catch him there. Miles started to walk down the stairs carrying his suitcase.

Naka picked up the few items of interest he thought might interest Miles. The shock lizard leather he had managed to tan, the shock lizard claws, the shock lizard fangs, and a few jars of various organs of the shock lizards, in particular the hearts, livers, spleens, stomachs, lungs, and vials of their blood. Most of the things he had harvested from them were well kept and preserved, though he kept five claws to add to the necklace of bear claws and teeth that he wore. It had taken him a little bit to make the necklace and he had even managed to make two of them, and still had two of the bear's paws for a project he had in mind. He was beginning to think Miles might be able to help him with that. In addition to everything he currently had on him, he took the bow and arrows he had gotten in the cave in the forbidden forest, as well as the single edged longsword he had gotten from there as well.

After filling his backpack with the items that would go in it, and wrapping the bow and the sword in cloth which was the respectful thing to do when carrying around weapons, he left his room, deciding his cell phone would be just as effective in the lobby or the courtyard, though he went to the lobby as his choice A, for no other reason than the fact that they had a pool table. With his black long coat, black leather hakama pants, and Dir En Grey band T-shirt, as well as the necklace of bear teeth and claws (with a bear fang in the middle of the claws and four shock lizard claws placed on it to space them, and the second necklace in his coat pocket, he headed toward the lobby to relax and play some pool.

Seeing Nakata come down into the lobby Miles grabbed his suitcase and walked over to meet him. “Hey Nakata,” Miles said as he got to him, “I couldn’t get a signal to call with.” Looking at the backpack and the other things Nakata had brought with him, Miles said, “You look prepared. Are the materials in the backpack?” Miles wondered how the weapon was going to turn out. “So, what type of weapon are we making here, since there your materials it’s all up to you?” Miles was ready to make this weapon and get to the training. Then thinking about when he’d met him, Miles thought about the teacher. “So Nakata did you ever talk to that teacher again and can I call you Naka for short?” Miles didn’t really think it was his business but it had seemed important. “You don’t have to tell me anything about it if you don’t want to, I’m not trying to be rude.”

Nakata kept a portion of his information a secret, in part because he wasn't really sure of anything.
"I've had him for murtipre crasses before. I'm not sure what exactly he was referring to, or if I berieve it. Yes you can carr me Naka for short, and most of the materiars are in the backapack, others are wrapped in croth. The courtyard would be best for smithing, but it's winter outside so the cord causes muscle tension." He explained. He hadn't considered too much about what exactly he wanted forged from these things, but he did have a few ideas and with Sorcha's birthday rapidly approaching, he knew he wanted it to be grand. This was a good opportunity to get something good without having to go to the city to buy it.
"I have a bow and an eritest knight rongsword that can be worked with. It's an idea for a present I have for a crose friend."
