Private Finished The Things I Said

"Too much work." Delaney said. "Nap club is more my thing." Nap club was nice and no work.

Her drink was brought and set before her, the waiter using the clock system to identify its place. Which was supper nice! Delaney took a sip of her drink and was pleased to note that she could barely taste the coffee. Just sugar and caramel. Perfection. "Heck yeah I want to pet some cats!"

Delaney abandoned her drink to the table and held out her hand for Lizzy to take. Georgette will be fine in her spot under the table. "I wanna pet the black cats." She said with a cheeky grin.

Delaney bounced on her heels as Lizzy lead the way. She could hear the cats moving about what felt like a large room. The teen let Lizzy guide her hand to the cat, but paused, her fingers skimming the tips of fluffy fur. "Oh my gosh, Lizzy. Who do you think you're talking too?" Dela said, narrowing her eyes at he friend. "You're never up to anything good when you ask someone to trust you."

She still pet the cat though. Delaney ran her fingers down its fur, and then scratched the sides of its face when the cat turned. "Aw, aren't you a soft one?" Dela cooed to the cat. "We should totally come back here again. And invite Chi and Avigail. Make it a girl's day, you know?"

Dela felt another cat slide against her side, and gave that one scratches with her other hand. Cats were great. "I can totally get the twins on board. And we can like, go get ice cream when we're done here." She added, thinking much the same as Lizzy did. The cafe wasn't an all day thing, but at least a two hour thing.

She took a seat on the floor, uncaring about cat hair because hey, she can't see it anyways. And let the cats come to her for pets and affection. "I used to want a pet cat." She said, "Like, really really bad. My parents said no because we couldn't afford any pets. I would have snuck one into my room but my oldest siblings caught me and made me take it back."

Dela was so angry about it too, back then, now it was kinda funny.

More cats! Delaney figured the cats might avoid her since she likely smelled of dog, but maybe these cats didn't know what dogs were. Hah! They'd probably flip out if Georgette came in. "We can go now if you want." Dela said, perking up. She actually needed to stop by the pet store.

"I need to get treats for Georgette, she's been too much of a good girl and I'm running out." Though, she didn't get up just yet, still much to busy petting cats. "Unless you're really craving ice cream." She added with a giggle. Which, now that Dela thought about it, she could really go for something strawberry right now. Get the faint taste of coffee from her mouth.

"Ice cream it is," Delaney gave the cats a few more pets before standing up. "Okay, be honest with me. On a scale of 1 to hairball how much hair do I have on me?" The trials of wearing fashionably black clothes. She had collected a lot of hair, but it wasn't as bad as she thought it was. Now that Dela got her fill of cats, she was eager to get back to Georgette.

Letting Lizzy guide, Dela pondered her question, and came up with a brilliant idea. "Oh yeah. I know just the place." She said. "We gotta head west down Main Street then there's a cart alongside a park." Said cart sold ice cream! For the island's primary meat eaters. Blood cones, savory ice creams and all sorts of awesome stuff that Delaney wanted to try. They also had, like, some normal flavors so Lizzy won't totally hate it.
