Selia sat down next to him and leaned back, looking out at the sea. It would be a long journey most likely. She closed her eyes a moment, thinking.

"True, so either way, we should be prepared if he ends up attacking us by surprise or something, you know?"

"It would be best to. Though, luckily, I don't believe he's that powerful, I bet he'll get help... Hope its not much of a surprise though... if he shows up, then it really won't be if were ready." She spoke, a bit quiet.

Dean smiled at the way Selia was thinking. He put an arm over her shoulder and kissed her lightly. As he looked out towards the moving water, he knew that it'd be a while before he felt the same comfort of land again. of course, that would be if he didn't teleport himself back tot the Academy's campus. but that would mean he was a chicken, which he constantly tried to convince himself he wasn't. It better start working once the fighting begins.

Time Jump

Selia was in the room she got, and sitting on the bed, her bag in front of her, and she rummaged through it, and pulled out her fighting knives, and started sharpening them with whetstone. It was something used long ago, but she liked it more then knife sharpeners.

When down, she stood, and put the knives around her waist, and made sure the hilts were strapped to the scabbards. After a moment, she took them off, and set them on the bed again. Then sat on the floor, pulling out her laptop, and started typing, not aware of anything at the moment.

Dean sighed as he stared up at the ceiling of his room. He wanted to get some rest, but he just couldn't fall asleep. The boat rocked back and forth lightly and Dean sat up in his bed, thinking of what to do. He looked over at his door and imagined Selia who was right across the hall. He wondered what she was doing at the moment. Maybe resting or thinking up a plan of some sort.

With another sigh, Dean pulled himself off form the bed and leaned against the wall, peering out the window. It was already getting dark, the sun almost hidden completely behind the water. Then he noticed something. The more he paid attention, the more Dean noticed the dark thick clouds forming in the sky. They were rain clouds. Of course, Dean didn't want to panic, but he'd seen way to many movies where something happens on a boat during rain. But for all he knew, it could be a light rain, not a storm. Yeah, it wouldn't necessarily be a storm. Everything would be fine.

As she typed, she heard a small, faint noise of thunder. It was barely noticeable, but she knows the sound, after all, it was her power. She looked up from her work, set the laptop on the floor, stood, and walked to the window and peered out, seeing dark clouds, and she bit her tongue, telling herself it was fine, just a little storm, nothing big, but something was nagging at her.

She looked at her door, thinking of Dean a moment, then looked away to the window again. She went to her laptop, and closed it, then grabbed her fighting knives. Somehow, they gave her a little comfort, then went out the door to Dean's, and knocked. She stood out here, shifted from foot to foot, biting her lip.

He knew it. There was a slight rumble noise coming form a distance. Faint, but Dean heard it, and he knew what it was. Thunder. Hearing that only put him even more on edge and worried. Maybe they should turn back, after all what if something happened and the ship sunk? Then it'd most likely be up to him to save them, since he could teleport. But what about everyone els eon the boat?

Dean took a few breaths, mind mind was buzzing and it was giving him a headache. He should go talk to Selia. maybe talking to her would calm him down or something. Just as Dean was about to turn the knob and open the door, there was a knock. He opened it and there stood Selia, doing her shifting thing and biting her lip. "Hey, i was just about to go over to your room." He moved aside and quickly stuffed his stuff in his bag and gestured for Selia to enter.

"Hey, i was just about to go over to your room."

She smiled, and came in once he gesture her to. She heard another small rumble, getting closer, and closer. She felt as if she was getting paranoid. But why? Just because there was a small storm?

"Hm... I just need something to get my mind off this journey... I keep thinking of... well... that something bad might happen..." Selia said, mumbling the last part. She was rarely scared of things, like this mostly, but now, she was afraid the boat may go down.

Dean nodded, feeling the same way. Like something horrible was going to happen, and that it had to do with the approaching storm. He didn't want to scare Selia, even though he had no idea that similar thoughts could be running through her mind as well.

"I've been thinking the same thing...but it's probably nothing...right?" He wasn't sure but he was almost positive something was going to happen. good or bad. Either way, they had to be prepared for the worst, right?

"I've been thinking the same thing...but it's probably nothing...right?"

Selia smiled, doing quite well in having a comforting smile. "I'm sure we'll be fine, I doubt anything will happen... its just going on a adventure can get ones mind running with frightening scenarios." She said. Though, what she said, was just to be comforting, though, in her mind, she felt as if something would happen.

"What will we do if something bad does happen?" She thought to herself, closing her eyes and calming herself.

Dean gave Selia a weak smile, trying to believe that it might be true, and it probably was. He was still just a little bit nervous about going on a big adventure, that his mind was making him think the worst. Everything would be okay. "I guess you're right."

Though he tried to calm himself down mentally, he couldn't help but feel weird, like something bad would happen. Dean picked up his daggers and attached them safely to his waist for reassurance. You know, just in case.
