Morgan subconsciously twirled a strange of his hair around his finger. "Yeah, maybe that's why.." He trailed off thoughtfully as his thoughts briefly flickered to the subject of his mother. She did often appear as that particular species of bird. He wasn't sure if his mother was morbid, or just trying to fit in with the goth crowd long before the subculture "goth" was even a thing.

Upon being asked on if he was doing something, Morgan hesitated for a few seconds before slowly nodding his head in affirmation. "I have an aura, it gets me and others into trouble sometimes, so I normally suppress it when I'm around others. Usually that's why I hang around areas with low populations of people." Morgan said, his voice once again lilting like so many feathers floating down from the sky.

He smiled softly at being told Dulla had taken a liking to him. It was odd, although in a good way. Morgan never expected animals to take a liking to him, much less he to them.

Morgan gave a genuine smile to Aodh. "We'd be here all day if I told you why I am the way I am, and who's responsible." He chuckled although the unwanted image of his mother flashing through his memory caused his mirth to die down quickly.

Morgan seemed kind of standoffish at the mention of why he liked crows and Aodh wondered if there was something behind that. But Aodh didn't try to ask, it wasn't his place.
Aodh scratched his chin when Morgan said he had an aura that caused trouble. Yeah, Aodh guessed some people would avoid him because of that.
"Well, if it's uncomfortable for ye I can cut it off temporarily. I have a spear that can do that. If ye want to."
Aodh shrugged and rubbed the back of his head.
"I don't want to be too pushy or anythin' though."

Dulla wagged her tail as Morgan petted him and her thoughts were becoming braver too. So brave and hilarious Aodh had a full job keeping his face straight. And the smile on Morgan's face made Aodh happy too, he always felt happy when someone liked Dulla. He had raised a good guardian.
Aodh answered Morgan's smile with a genuine smile as well and even grinned a bit.
"Up to ye lass. I ain't gonna push ye. Just thought me an' me dog would earn our right to stay at yer spot. An' yes, this is yer spot, at least for today. We were the ones to intrude."

Morgan almost smiled a the mention of having his powers removed temporarily. Almost. However the reality of his mother not appreciating the bypass of her curse set in. "I'm not sure the powers that be would enjoy that." Morgan chuckled bitterly. "Although I do thank you for the option." He flashed Aodh a genuine smile.

Morgan raised an eyebrow at Dulla, but continued to pet her. Morgan shook his head at the mention of intrusion. "I don't mind, rarely anyone comes up here, and like I said, not many people stick around. My Aura is pretty handy in a fight, but it's much harder on friends and family. Sometimes it's better that I just sit up here and watch from a distance rather than cause harm."

Morgan had a small, albeit melancholy smile on his face. "I'm the the worlds most melancholic guardian angel." He chuckled.

Aodh frowned a bit when Morgan answered but he didn't ask. It seemed to be too private for Aodh to butt in. But Morgan looked like he appreciated the offer, and that was what mattered the most for Aodh. At least the lad knew of the option. So Aodh answered to Morgan's smile with a genuine smile of his own.
"Ain't nothin' to it."
Dulla's voice echoed in his mind.
"Look out, yer nice is showin'"
"Yer just concentrate on gettin' pet."

Morgan's fate sounded like a lonely one, and Aodh felt bad for him. So did Dulla since she whined a bit and licked Morgan's hand affectionately. She didn't say anything to Aodh and just concentrated on trying to cheer Morgan up in her dog way. Aodh wanted to try cheering Morgan up too, in some way. He rubbed his neck a bit.
"Ya proobably feel sad, havin' ta spend yer life loike that. But yer a noice person, thinkin' bout others."
Aodh smiled bit shyly.
"An' ain't nothin' wrong with bein' melancholy. I think it means yer think about things normal folk are usually too afraid ta think, an' that's it's own kind of strength."
