She happily nodded. This boy was being far too sweet, it would be just a tease to sprout out little white lies to watch him dig a deeper hole. Of course she didn't think of him as that much of a fool, but that's what made Evan that more likeable to her..

"Just confirming my suspicions." She lightly spoke straightening herself to stand more upright. "It's a surprise to me, throughout my years of travel I've never encountered so many unique individuals centred in one area." She stated honestly. Savannah's life previously was one spent hidden amongst humans, thus her focal interaction was only spent with humans. Of course she has heard a great deal of stories of other supernatural beings, but never met any until now.

"It certainly makes a change instead of disguising myself." Her voice grew softer. It felt somewhat relieving that she did not have to cover up her appearance to fool anyone. She can now stand before others without being judged at an instant.

<div align=center>Evan frowned a little, he wished he could disguise himself, but unfortunately he was stuck like this whether he liked it or not. He'd had countless thoughts of cutting his antlers off since they got in the way so much, but he realized that doing that might hurt a hell of a lot. He knew that blood flowed to them, despite what many thought, the antlers on top of his head were actually warm to touch, there was a pulse in them. Of course that didn't stop him from despising them, every day tasks were almost impossible for him, he especially hated washing his hair and getting dressed in the mornings, his shirt always got caught in them and he'd often spend a while trying to untangle it again. "I've never encountered so many unique individuals ever." He laughed, "I was a strange sight to look at in my neighborhood as a kid, I can't disguise myself."

His ears drooped a little at the thought, it would have been nice to be able to hide his strange features, he'd spent countless hours in hospital as a child being poked and prodded, doctors couldn't understand what had caused it and had merely presumed it was a strange, new genetic disorder he'd developed. They'd never seen anything like it. "You've traveled?" Evan had once been to Spain with his family, but he didn't remember it all that well.</div>

She nodded, it was easy to understand a position Evan was in. Being the only one who had something no one else has. It could all be related to the 'fear of the unknown'. If you're not sure why it is then it's easy to reject it and call it bad. "A disguise you no longer need, I would recommend cherishing what you have now. You are alive so that hold some value." She said almost tutor like. It wasn't to say whatever she spoke was right, it is only her reasoning of the world.

Her eyes and ears perked up at his next question. She skipped around behind Evan, throwing her head over her shoulder to look at him. "Travel I have, to places long forgotten in time, fragments of history embedded into my skin." Savannah proudly spoke. However she did give off another shiver, Evans clothes helped greatly but her damp dress made it that much more difficult.

<div align=center>Evan smiled softly, she was right, being here was a lot easier than staying where he'd been, Evan didn't really react to insults all that much, but he really didn't like being insulted, then again, who did? He wagged his tail a little at her words, and laughed, "I think I'd like my antlers, if they didn't get in the way so much that is..." He smiled awkwardly, she'd made him feel a little better about himself, which was rare, Evan seldom felt good about himself, though it wasn't shown all that plainly, most of his emotions were practically impossible to unearth, he was smiley most of the time.

He turned to look at her again, his ears flicking upward, matching the angle of hers. She was interesting, he realized, everything about her was curious, from her tails to the way he spoke, he liked it a lot, and wondered if she was altogether human. The boy seemed enchanted by what she had to say, "really?" He asked, his head tilting to one side like a dog, "what kind of places?" He shuffled forward an inch or so, noticing her shiver, his brow furrowed, "are you okay? Do you need to go and change clothes?"</div>

She joined in with Evan's laughter. "As I would adore my lengths of fur if I did not need to ruin the many clothes I have worn." Savannah added. It had grown into a sort of art form for her, to cut and opening wide enough to fit the nine tails through without tearing the clothe apart. It was either that or the tails would have to stay under her dress or stick out oddly when she wore trousers.

His persistence of questions only fuelled her lively activity, it was the attention from it she craved. Being able to tell tales of oneself was a past time favourite of the fox, that and also creating new ones. He nodded her head, "From one half of the world to the other, a great diversity of climates. The thick rain forests to scorching desert plains, ice capped mountains to great green meadows." She listed with pauses.

Evan was quite the sincere boy, that was a admirable feature she liked. "Yes, but if you were to hold me here I believe my heart will sore and warmth pulse exceptionally." She playfully suggested with a slight melodramatic and unable to hide her smile.

<div align=center>The boy looked fascinated, he was clinging to every word she said, like an excited child. He had a similar problem to her, though instead of having a magnificent set of tails to be proud of, his antlers generally tore a lot of his clothing if he tried to get dressed too fast, it was one of the reasons Evan preferred button-up shirts to the ones you had to pull over your head, they were far easier for him to put on. Evan was reminded of some of the books he'd read before while listening to her speak, though this was different, Savannah was someone that had actually been there, she'd experienced things Evan could only dream of first hand, he couldn't help but feel just a tad envious. "I'd like to see those..." His voice was a little distant, he was trying to imagine what it might be like, he'd decided he like Savannah, she was like someone who'd just stepped out of a beautiful fairy tale.

Evan lifted an eyebrow at her, and tittered softly. The boy hooked an arm around her shoulders and pulled her to his side, "it's a shame it's not a warm day," he mused, "then perhaps I would have joined you." He joked, beaming, and shaking his head a little. He ran his other hand through his hair, pushing his fringe away from his forehead, causing it to stick up on end, he didn't even remember if he could swim.</div>

Evan's words were not uncommon to her. It was perhaps the one thing she could freely boast of, the adventures of the known world. Admittedly she hadn't even seen half of it, maybe even less. But arguably she was around to witness some of the greatest changes in history. Her eye lids fell shut, "...Maybe one day you might." She whispered under her breath. It wouldn't be that hard to leave Mantra Carlos, after all it was they who decided to come here. Savannah came because it was an easy way out, she'd be surrounded by people she could be with.

That was one thing, they had not shared their ages with each other yet.

The next moment her eyes peered open, feeling herself pulled in by his arm. Honestly she was asking for it, but never expected him to do so. His next words caught her off guard, she clamped a hand over her mouth as she choked a laugh. It was at no offence to Evan but they way he said it humoured her dearly. In response she nuzzled her head into his chest. "You are a dangerously sweet boy, that's freighting." She croaked out her pursed lips.

"How foolish." She muttered to herself with content.

<div align=center>Evan shook his head, he'd always been a sweet boy, he couldn't stand to see other people suffer, it didn't matter who they were. "Perhaps you're right," he returned, giving a lazy sort of shrug, he'd never really thought about it, he blushed a little at the fact that he knew she was right, but he didn't say anything about it. He wasn't all that sure whether to be offended or not, though he decided against it, you could have most likely called Evan every name under the sun, and his facial expression would have remained the same throughout the whole experience. It wasn't that he was emotionless, it was just he was straight-faced more often than not in the majority of situations, but Savannah's mischievous demeanor made him smile.

How foolish. The boy pouted softly, "then I must be a fool, mustn't I?" He asked, a small, impish smirk crossing his features, "or perhaps you've just never known the kindness of a true gentleman," he jested, placing one hand on his hip and laughing. He knew he was too nice for his own good sometimes, but that was just the way he was, no matter how hard he tried he just couldn't bring himself to be nasty, though he thought perhaps in the right situation that might be subject to change.</div>

Most of the time Savannah was a good judge of character, her years of experience was there to back her up. Now that she thought of him as this sweet person, if he were to change drastically it would hurt her in some way. It's silly to fuss over something as such, but being wrong was a concept the fox never got used to.

She hummed softly at his question, smiling to herself. When she spoke those words, she wasn't calling him a fool. It was aimed at herself, but he needn't know that. Evan's next comment caused her face to look up to his. Her mouth gaped open slightly. Did he really just say what she heard? "Bold words." She slurred.

"There is a fine line between chivalry and well, the opposite." Savannah said. The next moment she traced a hand out under the coat and placed a finger firmly on Evan's chest, she prodded him. "But I appreciate the humour, if a chariot were to roll up now I would take you seriously and retire the day with you." She told him with a grin of her own.

<div align=center>Evan laughed, it was incredibly unlikely that he'd do anything nasty to her, he would most likely only lash out at someone if they did something to someone else he perhaps didn't think deserved it, he didn't really care what happened to himself, he didn't really think about himself all that much. He wasn't so much sickeningly sweet, merely good hearted, Evan did have a nasty side, but you'd perhaps have to do something terrible to ever see it, anger wasn't an emotion he fully experienced, it was unfamiliar to him and was very rarely shown. He laughed softly when Savannah prodded him.

"I know, I know," he mused, shaking his head, "I'm just teasing you." A sweet smile crossed his features, he ran a hand through his hair, he liked Savannah, she laughed at his jokes, Evan didn't really have any friends around the school, so he liked it when he could make people laugh, it was unusual for him that he had someone to talk to for once, and a nice change that he easily welcomed. Most of the time he was too engrossed in whatever he was reading to ever talk to people, though he regretted it most of the time, friends were a virtue.</div>
