This girl was younger than her? From her style and fashion, Elisa would have assumed that she was older, but still had a youthful appearence. This island always got the better of her when she tried to guess age.

Elisa nodded as she listened to Thea's advice. She could imagine herself wearing the different styles, and while she thought she would look good, the colouring seemed a bit off to her. The dress, however, she imagined a Deep red, and compared to the lighter colours, she couldn't help but smile. It just seemed so much better.

"How does the Season affect the colours?" Elisa asked, spotting the store up ahead, and looking at the dresses in the window, wondering if she was really cut out to doing this.

Thea tilted her head at the question and thought about how to answer " We'll there are certain colors and sometimes styles associated with the different season. In the summer you think sundress, bathing suit, bright colors that don't attract the heat. In the spring you think flower patters, soft pink and maybe even white. Bright yellow and things of that nature." Being ever the ever polite person she was, she held the door open for Elisa and waited for her to go through.

"Then you have the Fall and winter colors, which are normally more rich in color like crimson, dark green, grey and brown. The clothing is also thicker normally to help with the cold. It doesn't mean you can't wear the other colors...it's just some colors fit the surroundings better like the falling leaves or the forest" She hopped she was explaining this correctly to the girl. A lot of Thea's knowledge about fashion was self taught by reading blogs, articles, and watching what critics said. While very fashionable, it was easy for her to explain why something was fashionable besides the fact it just looked good.

"Why don't you find something you think you'd like and we'll go from there"

She listened to what Thea was saying and mentally recorded it. It made sense, lighter clothing kept away the heat, and colours that complimented the environment would look more natural.

Given this info, it made sense why a bright orange Blouse gained that much attention.

Now inside the store, she realised just how big it was. "How... How can I find something I like here?" Where would she even begin?

"Uh, why don't you take me to where you want to go, and I'll start looking there?"

Thea tilted her head "Just tell me what you think you'd be comfortable wearing, or is there any person on TV whose style you want to try?" She looked over the older girl and started to move towards a section of neutral colored skirts and dresses. She though it was best to start at simple things and work up to more patterned things. Not everyone was comfortable with crazy patterns and designs.

Thea quickly searched through the racks and then held up a dress. "What about something like this? Do you think it's too plain, too girly...or whatever else you're thinking about it, let me know." The more important and hardest thing about shopping was finding the right style. Once you knew what you were looking for it was just about finding the right size and prices.

She took the dress from Thea, and held it against herself, comparing the size. "I have no problem with girly. I'd try not to get something that stands out too much though. This is nice though. I like the Neck on it" She held a finger to the wavy line.

"Uh, for people I want to try?" No one came to mind. "I can't think of anyone, but something fashionable, yet practical." Maybe something with larger pockets than what she currently had?
