Walking through the halls, she blinked a few times as it seemed that she had something in her eye. Stopping for a moment, she rubbed her eyes on her shoulder, before looking back up to see where exactly they were. Had they reached the room? She had been walking for a while, wondering as to where their room was. It wasn't that she was lost, but she wasn't sure as to how the room numbers went. Did they go highest to lowest, or the other way around? They didn't have many options for differences in the rooms, as most of the rooms were the same, though some had more beds than others for extra living space. She herself was alone in her dorm, but she knew that the two men behind her would be sharing a room for sure.

Re-adjusting the bags, she thought again to the number that they had told her their room was. An odd number, but then again she thought all number were weird. Looking to her right, then to her left, it seemed that she was close. On the right side of the hallway, a few doors forward their room was, which relived Kiayana as she didn't have to carry their bags any longer. Rushing to the door, she dropped the bags around her, and opened the wooden door with the key they had given her. Breathing in heavily, and exhaling, she opened the door to the boys new room. "Voilà." She then picked up the bags again, almost having the squeeze through the door, and placed them in a corner so that when they came in they could see the room for what it was. "So...?" She said with a smile, hoping that this was enough for them.

This place was awfully drab compared to what he was used to, there were no tapestries on the walls, no guards, no ornate statues. Renly felt quite put out, and rather dreaded what their chambers would look like. He shot a displeased little glance to Loras, he didn't like this place one bit. He dropped his pace away from the girl slightly, letting her get a few meters ahead of them before snatching at Loras' wrist and dragging him back to level with him. There was a frown upon the price's features, and a melancholy sort of air about him that was really quite unusual to have come from him.

"I want to go home." He murmured, his hand shifting to up to cling to Loras' upper arm, in a manner a little like a child would cling to his mother. "It's strange here and I don't like it here." He stopped in his path, staring ahead at the girl who had wandered ahead of them by now. Shaking the thought off, Renly let go of Loras' arm and shuffled forward, catching up with Kiyana as she unlocked a room.

It was awful. It was tiny and cramped and where Renly was used to a magnificent four poster bed, he'd been stuck with this tiny little room and a mattress with more or less no space in it. He might as well have been given a cot filled with straw. "Is this it?" He asked, incredulously. "This!?"

Though he had a few issues with blindly following their new maid, Loras kept his hand at his side, ready to pounce on anything that seemed off. They were led up to a hall, and a frown marred his features, sneering at the less than noble appearance of the school living quarters. Renly had begun to slow a little, grabbing at his wrist and making him slow as well. The frown upon his prince's face made Loras worry, and his hand came up to gently touch Renly's face in concern. "I want to go home too... " They both knew they couldn't, and seeing the dramatic differences between home and this place were far too overwhelming.

Before he could say anything further, Prince Renly had dropped his arm, and had went ahead to catch up to the woman. Speeding up at Renly's obvious distress, Loras peered into the room as well. Shifting his confused gaze from the room to Kiyana, Loras tilted his head, giving a weak little laugh. "Ah... We asked you to show us to our room, not the servant's quarters. " Loras could only hope that the servant was daft, and had really just led them to her room first. Perhaps just in case they needed her for something. But no, she had placed their bags in a corner of the room, and looked quite like she was offering this as their home.

Stepping forth to Renly's side, Loras did something he might not have done otherwise. He was feeling overwhelmed himself, and his hand dropped to clutch at Renly's, his fingers pressing themselves into the spaces between his prince's. He didn't like this idea, not one bit. He should have sacrificed himself, told the kingdom that it was all his fault the King had died. Turning to Renly swiftly, "It's not too late — we can still go back. I'll announce to the kingdom that it was all my fault, and I kidnapped you. I'll tell them that I killed him, and you tried to stop me so I kidnapped you instead. The kingdom will love you, and hate your uncle if he tries to kill you, too. It's not too late--"

Looking at their displeased and disgusted looks of the room, her upbeat expression soon withered. She should have this coming, that the standards of Starlight and the dorms weren't good, no, they didn't even make the two of them think that she had brought them to a storage room, or something or that sort. She looked at them as they continued to share their disgust among the two of them. She felt as if she had done them wrong, that she had let them down. She wanted them to like it here, even if their meeting had been wrong and odd. Even though she was now their maid, she still wanted them to feel settled, or at the least feel that they could sleep at night without someone getting them.

Sighing lightly, she stared at the two of them as it seemed that they wee discussing matters that were none of her business. Blinking a few times at the words that were spoken, she wondered as to what exactly the two of them were, as she hadn't ever gotten the chance to ask them. The question of what they were was also something she wanted to know. It seemed that the more protective one was some type of unicorn human hybrid. Blinking again rapidly and snapping out of her thoughts, she had to do something. Accidently, it seemed that her again she would interrupt one of them midsentence, as she almost tripped over one of the bags trying to get to the centre of the room. "S-sorry again." Kiyana yet again felt bad for being such a nousance.

If Loras had been anyone else Renly would have struck him for saying something so stupid. "No." His tone came out harsher than he'd meant it to, and the prince recoiled slightly at the sound of his own voice. "No," he said again, softer this time, shaking his head. Renly would rather be exiled from his home forever than see Loras' head mounted on a spike on the castle walls. That thought made his blood run cold. His kingdom, or his squire, and Renly quite easily chose his squire. "Don't ever say anything like that again." He found his hand unconsciously clinging to Loras' all of a sudden, an overwhelming sense of affection flooding through him for the boy. "I'd rather lose that God forsaken kingdom than lose you."

The girl had stumbled over something and snatched Renly's attention away suddenly. "By the Gods can you not even stand up properly?" He snapped, bristling and pulling Loras' hand up to squish it against his chest, in a protective sort of manner. The boy's words had evidently made him panic, and Renly realized he should probably stop complaining about their living situations, because at least he was still alive. The only reason for that was because of the feisty little unicorn boy he'd gotten so attached to.

Loras immediately recoiled at Renly's harsh tone, feeling a little wounded that he had been spoken to like that. He wanted to argue back, and insist that Renly would be much happier in his own home than ... This dump, but he couldn't seem to find the words. Attached at the hip to his prince, the thought of losing him sent a sharp pain through his chest, and he could only nod quietly. "Alright, I —" The maid had tripped over their things, and Loras hissed irritably. His hand was squashed up into Renly's chest, and he shuffled closer in the commotion, pressing himself into Renly's side.

"What a foolish girl to not even be able to stand proper. Don't you know your manners, wench?" His mood turned as swiftly as the tide, and he glanced around the room once more, his forehead wrinkling as he stared dubiously at the dreadfully plain interior. Perhaps if he engaged in some fights, and won some of the local coin, he could be able to pay for nicer lodging. "We can make it work. We must live like commoners for a little while before we can find something better."

As their ongoing opinion of the room continued, it seems that they had now focused their eyes to Kiyana. It also seemed as if they were making too much of a deal out of her falling, as if they were purposely putting all of their bad emotions onto her. As they both insulted her, she felt as if she wasn't really needed, and they only had her around to do everything for them. Then again, as she thought, she sighed knowing that what she was now want just that exactly. She was a load for them, their own personal person to mess with. Stepping a bit the the right once again, she realized that it may have been a good idea after all for her to have tripped over the bag, as it seemed that things were getting pretty heated between the two other people in the not so luxurious room. "I am sorry, your majesty." She said that instead of sir, or nothing at ask as she wanted to know if either of them would accept it. She wasn't very good at knowing as to what to call them, and mainly what she was supposed to do as their new maid.

A warm form pressed it's self against him, and Renly's hand found it's way to the small of Loras' back. He was glad for the comfort of the little elven boy sometimes, there was a gap between them, and Loras was still very much green in terms of some things, but he was a seasoned fighter and Renly quite happily put his life in the hands of his sworn sword. Renly didn't know anything about the local coin, he had a pouch of shiny golden ones that were used for currency in the kingdom he'd once called home. Though he didn't think they were worth anything here. "What are these beds made of?" He asked, his voice carrying a tone of scorn. "Straw? Hay? Sawdust?" Nothing compared to that feathered bed he missed so well, or the one his mother had been beaten to death in.

The memory made his face pale, and those soft brown eyes widened just a little. The girl had said something, it had gone over the top of the prince's head and he hadn't heard a word of it. "W.. What?" He stammered, shaking his head and trying to force the thoughts out of his head. "I... I'm sorry. I missed that." His hand was clinging painfully tightly to Loras' and he was suddenly very aware of an awfully weak feeling in his legs.

Curling into the hand on his back, his eyes pressed shut briefly at the comfortable warmth of it. Renly was a large part of his life, and the steadying hand on his back calmed him and made him want to kick that wretched maid out to spend more time with his Prince.
"Perhaps not even clean straw..." The room had a funny tinge to it, smelling of mothballs and dust. His delicate elvin nose did not like either scent, and he could already tell he wouldn't enjoy the next few years in this tiny little hole.

As soon as Renly spoke, Loras turned sharply to him. His hand was squashed tightly against Renly's, and he was afraid to draw it back lest Renly collapse. Placing a cool hand upon his forehead, gently brushing the stray hair away, Loras spoke in a soft voice reserved only for Renly, "Come sit. You'll feel better." His hand dropped, and he stroked the arm that was clinging to him. Tugging Renly in the direction of the bed, Loras nudged his prince towards it, glancing suspiciously at it before drawing Renly down and sitting next to him. "Fetch us some water, if you think you are at least that capable."

Staying quiet as they shared a few moments together, she didn't want to interrupt them, not again at least. They need their time, and Kiyana wasn't going to ruin that. She blinked calmly as she watched the two of them, but all she did was smile. She thought that the two of them were really cute together, and she was also happy that they had decided that she was at least a bit worthy enough to be their maid, or at least she hopes that was the case.

They didn't seem all that bad, compared to her first impression of them. She just hoped that they felt the same way, and that they would not treat her like a lap dog for their needs. As the two of them sat down, she was pulled out of her thoughts and rudely awoken that her hopes would most likely be crushed. They wanted water? Thinking for a moment, she wondered as to what type of water they were used to. Certainly not tap water. Nodding her head, she replied. "Of course your majesty." She was still unsure of what to call them. Taking the room card and a few dollars, she exited the room to go and get suitable water for them.
