Tucking his legs up underneath himself, Renly dropped sideways to lean on his squire in an affectionate sort of notion. It was too early to go to sleep, but did that really stop the prince? Not really. Water sounded nice, though, wine would have been nicer, one of the sweet reds from his home kingdom. Why didn't I snatch any up? He supposed he hadn't thought of that at the time, maybe he could send for someone to fetch him some in the future. Renly shook the thought away and checking the girl had left the room, wrapped both of his arms around Loras' waist, tucking his knees against him and murmuring something that was lost into the boy's neck.
Renly in all honesty wished he was braver half the time, Loras was six years younger than him and still a boy by a long shot, but he had the heart of a lion and Renly didn't think he'd ever seen him balk at anything. He pressed a wet little kiss to the boy's jaw, before falling away and onto his back. "Mayhaps we can do something to get out of here. I don't fancy working for anyone." He frowned, supposing Loras worked for him. But then again, was he ever paid for his work? Renly didn't recall. "Have I ever paid you?"
