The Partisan's Eye

On the top of one of the towers, overlooking the roof and the grounds, sat a man with blackish blue armor. He had longish black hair, and eyes that seemed to reflect the darkness that created him. Nero snorted. He was bored, and wanted to cut someone to pieces with his Dual Partisans, Venvi and Vanvi.

The roof. Of all the places he would've chosen, he chose the roof to start exploring, after had finally lost whoever was tailing him. But what did he care: being up here was nothing to him, he just wanted some quiet.

Akane stared out into the open sky, and he spotted another person on the roof. Strange, his brother had specifically said that not a lot of people head to the roof. His curiousity was contained even though that man looked very strange in all black armor. He wasn't a homocidal maniac, or was he?

Nero looked at the boy. He snorted again, and jumped off the tower, falling the good twenty feet to the buildings roof, landing on his feet. He walked over to the edge, looking at the snowy mountains. "No, that fool would never dream of coming here.." He murmured to himself. "Aeta would not dream of unleashing the demon on all of them.." He shook his head and pulled Venvi and Vanvi out, resting them on the railing. He turned around, facing the other way, and leaned against the railing. "You pitiful humans bore me..." He said coldly, directing the insult to Akane. "Perhaps you can give me a true challenge.....Or will you stand there before my glory, begging me to spare you from the eternal Abyss....." He laughed and grabbed Venvi and Vanvi in either hands, and in a flash of black, he was gone. He reappeared on the other side of Akane in the same way, and laughed. "Do you wish to accept my challenge? Or should I just dispatch you now?"

He only stared at the black person. He had disappeared and reappeared before Akane could reply. His eyes only blurred, and he looked curiously in the direction of the scythes.

He was standing before a person with two big weapons, someone who had shown to him that he didn't hesistate to kill. And did he feel afraid? Akane glimpse briefly at his hands. No, his power should resist it, yet it came off an on at the most random times, so why did he believe that it would save him?

"It is painful?" he asked, showing no fear whatsoever. Anyone who was facing someone who would surely kill them, and the only barrier between them was the fact that his power would and could but doesn't save him.

No, he just didn't care.

Ember slowly awoke from her light nap she had been taking atop of the building where the entrance to the stairs was. Apparently she'd been 'napping' for quite some time for now there was nobody, except for two boys, and Ember raised her eyebrow at one of them. He was dressed ina dark blue armor and carried two blades of some sort.

The boy had spotted the other boy who was standing a bit away from the one in armor and spoke of a challenge. Ember sat up right, wiping strands of hair out of her eyes and watched. This could be interesting... She thought with a small grin. She hadn't seen a good fight since the last time she was on the roof, and she was in that one. There was a light wind, and Ember placed her arms across her chest, pulling her jacket tighter for more warmth. [/i]Thank god i wore jeans today,[/i] She thought. She continued to observe form above what would happen between the two boys.

"Perhaps....Perhaps not...I could not know, I have never had to die before..." He laughed, and jumped back, sliding as he landed, and came to a stop twenty feet from Akane. He held Vanvi and Venvi, his two Scythes, At ready, Venvi in his left hand, the blade behind him, and Vanvi in his right hand, the blade in front of him. "Death will await you....." He started to run forward, holding his Scythes at ready to attack.

A smile grew on Ember's face. She had never imagined to be interested in this kind of thing...especially when someone could die, but something about these two caught her interest.

She slid down to the edge and dangled her legs over, still watching from above, thouhg now in plain view. Who cared? She didn't.

A small part of Ember wanted to jump down and join the fight, but the other half of her wanted to just watch..at least, for now. So she did.

He couldn't risk it Kiiroi had said, not to risk his life just because he just didn't care. He stared at the incoming scythes, their blades readying to just either sink through him, 'causing a great flow of blood, or merely pass through him.

Closing his eyes, he thought of all the consequences of not knowing when his power will activate; it could even disactivate at the split second when it comes. Too risky Kiiroi would say, and what would his family think when he was killed on the very day he came to the Academy.

It was a two use plan, churning in his mind. It would work; only it was at the expense of his life. A precaution he thought of it.

Nero saw something was wrong and stopped, jumping backwards again. "Hmmm....Killing you could be a bad thing, considering you dont seem to care...." He shook his head and stood there, weapons ready, and waited for his enemy's next move.

Aeta staggered onto the roof, looking around. "Nero!" He shouted. "I'm here, now what, you monster?!" He pulled out his swords and staggered forward, his intentions evil. Nero turned and saw him. "So I am the monster? No, its you who is the monster....Ready for me to unleash it-" Aeta cut him off. "Its already unleashed, Nero! Now come kill me, if you dare it!"

Jaden followed Aeta to the roof, ready to help him if anything went wrong. He still didn't seem too ready to be fighting or the like, in her opinion. She looked at the male dressed in all black that Aeta had shouted at, now knowing that was Nero from what Aeta had said. So you're the spoiled brat, huh? she thought to herself. She would most likely say it out loud eventually, but not right now.

She looked at Aeta when he told Nero to come and kill him, hoping he would be able to do this. She then noticed the other two people up here, one female, and one male. She wondered what had been going on before she and Aeta had arrived up here, but didn't ask. In fact, she didn't say anything, just keeping her eyes on all of them, especially Nero and Aeta.
