Remi was near taking a break until some boy came up to her and asked if she needed help. When she turned towards him she saw a blonde hair guy that was slightly shorter than she was. For a moment she looked down to make sure the kids were still nearby and safe, and quickly noticed that Arjean backed away from the stranger and hid behind her legs, while Junchi just stood near her, not really caring much for the boy.
"Oh, well, I guess that's one way to put it," she replied, her voice coming off as bland as she possibly could. She was overwhelmed, but like hell if she was going to show it. If she showed she was overwhelmed Junchi would just try to use that to make her job even harder, or Arjean would get anxious and blame themself for her problems. In a way, Arjean was to blame, but she couldn't just lay it all on a two-year-old, especially one who was already be developing anxiety issues. As she continued to speak she put her fliers into her bag, picked up Arjean, then began combing through their hair with her nails. That should calm them down hopefully.
"Sorry if I worried you or something. Taking care of kids is sort of a hard job, especially two really active ones." Remi would've given a small laugh, but she was certain that it'd come off as fake and as apathetic as everything else about her. Only once in a while did she feel she should put on more emotions, but that was only when she had a goal in mind that may have been just a bit easier with a more positive expression on her face.
She took her mind off of her emotions quickly though, and instead noted how the guy seemed willing to help her out. He was young too, and in fact, didn't seem much older than her. Please. Please let this be a babysitter volunteer. Let my job be easier, dammit.
She sat herself down on a nearby bench, though she made sure to keep herself approachable for talking with the boy. She also made sure to sit Junchi with her by pulling his hand over to the bench and making sure he was seated near her. As Remi got herself comfortable her mind spun with ways to make small talk that would force the conversation to go the direction she wanted it to go.
"I wouldn't mind some help though. I'm putting up fliers for my family and Junchi's family for babysitters. Honestly though, I doubt many people would take up the chance to babysit toddlers. Still, I wouldn't mind having some assistance in putting up the rest of what I have."
