Tara was lead to a classroom after she dropped off her things in her room. Her entourage was a tall woman whom was rather old and had thick glasses. "Right this way Ms Damodred." Tara was not used to people calling her by her surname, she didn't even remember anyone calling people by their surnames except teachers back in her home-town, even businessmen that came into town seemed to be regulars and called everyone by their first names. The woman lead her to a room that on the door read "Mrs. Maciavadi. 521" Tara held a binder in her hand. "Students, there is a new student here. Her name is Tara Damodred. Please treat her well. She'll be joining us for a while." The students looked at her but most just waved or gave her a simple smile. "Ah, Ms. Damodred, why don't you sit right there." Mrs. Maciavadi said pointing to a chair on the right side of the room, near the middle. There was a boy who seemed to be sleeping next to her, two girls in front of her, and she didn't look back to see who was behind her for the time being. The teacher handed her a packet of notes and a little information. "I'm Mrs. Maciavadi, I'll be teaching English." Tara nodded plainly. She slunk back in her chair. "Thanks Mrs. Maciavadi." She said, reading over the notes quickly, looking bored.

The teacher taught, and Tara made the occasional scribble in her notebook to make it look like she was doing something but for the most part she was drifting. She couldn't pay attention. She examined the room, the students, they looked ordinary enough. It was like college sort of. Tara did not like it. She wanted to go home. Why the hell was she even here? She held her pen like a knife fingering the tip with her thumb. I can fight my way out of here. She thought, then her hand stopped thumbing it. if i knew where the hell i was. I saw water.. but we could be anywhere.. Tara continued in thought. "Tara? Daydreaming on the first day are we?" Mrs Maciavadi asked. Tara smiled. "Of course not Mrs. Maciavadi." The teacher rose a brow. " Would you explain the 5th Sonnet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet for us then, since you were paying attention like a good little student?" Tara rolled her eyes I hate her already. Tara smiled plainly at her though. "Of course, It explains the rivalry between the two households, showing that Mercrutio has to be the negotiator between the two rivals." she said, pulling something completely out of her ass. The teacher smiled and clapped. "Looks like we have a little english major with us today. Very good Tara." The teacher said beaming at her. Tara held back the sweat.

The class continued for another 30 minutes, then they were told to be excused. Tara grabbed her things quickly and got out the door. She made her way to the water fountain and got a drink, then headed over to the locker she had been provided. Storing the things from English she got in it, then grabbed her schedule. History, then lunch. She frowned, the room number was 167, she had a long way to go to get there, examining the map of the school she had designed. Luckily they had 20 minute breaks between classes. Unfortunately it would take about 10 to get all the way over there. She frowned closing the locker softly and heading off in that direction, examining the school as she went.

It was unfortunate that his first attempt ended in failure. Who would've known that students would be up and sneaking into the computer lab well after midnight!? Kids of this world were rather strange, he concluded. He had a different plan, now. Well, actually, it was the same one. But on a different day. And well.. that was as far as he got. Mostly, he was just going to wing it. He had already met a few of the students and a couple of the faculty, and some of them knew he wasn't a student here.

Which of course meant he had to be slightly less nonchalant than usual.

He had placed upon himself several objectives for that day. All of which lead to the end goal of being alone in the computer lab so he could hack the files and obtain the information he was searching for - if it even existed. Last time, he had been able to drug one of the janitors into falling asleep before temporarily stealing his keys.

Possibly, it could work this time. He had already memorized the majority of the school's layout. No one would question him walking around the halls as if he were a student, at least. It wasn't like he looked like anything out of the ordinary. A few girls that passed by him took second looks - he certainly was above average in the looks department - but nothing more ever came of it.

It was around this point he crossed paths with a girl that was - unbeknown to him - new to the school. Her emotions washed over him. Anger, aggravation, confusion. It wasn't uncommon for teenagers he came across to harbor these emotions. In fact, it was fairly common. But something about this one was.. off. It was difficult for him to describe - an interesting concept, something being difficult for him. He decided to retrieve more information. After all, it was very possible she would be just what he was looking for. He certainly hoped not, but he couldn't reject the possibility.

He continued walking for a few moments before he nonchalantly spun around to casually follow her. If she looked back in his direction at any moment, he would instantly turn away and somehow find something to make him appear distracted (which could, possibly at one point, include him turning to a random locker and begin trying to open it. That is until the apparent owner of the locker came up to him and began yelling at him, causing him to to simply start speaking Spanish, as if he did not speak any English, and then walk away leaving the locker's owner confused and annoyed.)

His hope was to get close enough without her getting suspicious. Particularly, he had hoped to overhear any conversation that could perhaps give him some valuable information.

Hopefully she wouldn't enter a classroom soon, as that would pose a problem - considering he was technically trespassing.

Tara was simply walking the halls, wandering, making her way in the direction of the classroom she was going to next. She looked at students, how they walked, talked, dressed, acted. Tara was a little person, observant and accurate. She stopped at a window. From the location. It looked like a normal warm day. Somewhere she had no idea. The ocean, or a very large lake surrounded them. She looked out. It was the first time she had ever seen the ocean. It was breathtaking for a moment. She grew bored however, then continued. The boy was still trailing her. She smiled behind her bandanna. The only indication that she was actually smiling was her eyes squinting a little bit. She stopped a random locker, leaning against it to look like she was talking to the girl opening the locker. A small argument between the boy who was following her and a random student after the student who was opening her locker next to her and the student the boy was arguing with before left. Tara opened her mouth.

Her words quiet, soft. "Going to keep following me? Hoping i might drop something?" a silent sense of anger was in her calmness. Her body loose. She stood without slouching however. She crossed her arms holding her things still. "Yes. I know you've been following me for quite some time now." She said, her bandanna moving as she spoke. She shook her head at the boy. Boy's will be boy's. her thoughts on the matter. She pushed off the wall and began walking again. Content with herself. If the boy wanted to redeem himself, he had best catch her now. First impressions, can't make them twice. Her classroom was nearby now too, she only had about 5 minutes left before the class started. Though she was in no rush to get there. History was not her favorite subject.

Oops.

He simply stood there with his arms crossed, eyes closed, and head leaning to one side. He appeared to be thinking. "Well then, I'm quite impressed. Usually, the human mind is not observant enough to notice someone casually following them. The locker incident gave me away, huh?" Come on now! There was only a 5.643 percent chance of that happening! It was just unfortunate.

Well, there she went. She sounded normal. If she was something other than human, he had no way of knowing. Not in his current state, at least. He had doubts that some sort of inner angel gut feeling was kicking in here. That didn't even make logical sense.

Okay, technically speaking, nothing in the entirety of existence ever has made logical sense. Logic didn't make logical sense. It was irrelevant.

"Actually!" He called out to her, before jogging to catch up. "I was new to the school and was wondering if you could tell me about it." He attempted to walk alongside her, a curious and innocent look in his eyes. What he had said was technically not a lie. He was new to the school - even if he wasn't a student - and he was seeking information. It wasn't his fault that his words were likely to be inferred incorrectly. Of course, he had no idea she was knew. He hadn't seen her before, and since his memory was near-perfect he likely would remember if he had seen her. However, there were too many students and he hadn't come often enough for the chance of her being new to be higher than the chance that he had simply just not seen her yet. Thus, he decided to just assume she wasn't new like he was.

Tara shook her head at him. "Don't be a smart-ass." she said in a demeaning tone. An head turned at the swear but no more then that from the fellow students around the two. The boy caught up though, before she could sly away from him any more. "Actually!" His voice chimed before he caught up to her. She turned her head to look at him, her eyebrows lowered so you could see the sense of unhappiness in her face. The boy asked her about the school. "Join the club. I don't know a thing." She said casually before turning to the history door. "Perhaps you should try a different tactic for small-talk next time eh? And not follow women around aimlessly? Might be worth a shot for you." She said, a silent pleasure in her eyes as they squinted a little in a hidden smile.

She had a knack of tearing people apart. Especially boys. They were just, so easy to toy with. This one seemed no different. "And last I checked. It was polite to state your name before you engaged a stranger in conversation. Especially one you've been following." She said, her brows lowering back down. "I'm Tara. Do yourself, and any other girls the favor. Talk to them; don't just stalk them." She said, a sly grin peaking beneath her bandanna. She opened the door to the History room and slid in. Hoping to avoid the strange - yet interesting fellow, for a short while at least.

The classroom was headed by Mr. Sterall-Derbak, he was a very clever man, he had a way to make history interesting for Tara, and mostly everyone. He had things to do, lots of which he did on the computer. Which interested her. She had never been extremely computer savvy or anything like that. Fieldridge only had a few computers in the whole town, besides the business areas that had the super cool one's. Her one friend had a computer but she just used it for typing. Mr. Sterall-Derback or SSD (Steve, Sterall Derbak) as most of the students called him, used iti for just about everything, papers, movies, slideshows. It was interesting. Class soon ended however, it seemed to go by relatively quickly and she stepped back out into the hall.

Well, she had him there. It was somewhat rude of him to have not stated his name. This was a rare - very rare - lapse in formality for him. Usually, he was over-the-top with his formalities. He appeared as if about to say something, but before he could, she entered the classroom and he decided to back off. The teacher would most certainly not recognize him and assume him to be some sort of new student. That wouldn't end well.

"Might be worth a shot?" He said. "I don't get it.. worth a shot at what?" He crossed his arms and looked around as if searching for the answer, but then the bell rang to signify the start of class. "Oh dear! I can't be out in the halls alone like this!" He needed to find a place to hide! Hmm.. bathrooms appeared the most logical of choices. Luckily, there were a pair of bathrooms - one each for male and female, of course - down the hall. He made his way to them nonchalantly when the men's room door suddenly opened and a well-dressed adult - presumably a teacher - walked out.

Alistair, unsure of how else to hide himself, did the first thing that came to mind and jumped into the ladies' room. The teacher, who only caught a glimpse, stood there for a moment with a strange look on his face. "I could've sworn that girl looked a boy... kids these days..." He shook his head before continuing on to his classroom.

Well, that was close. It seemed he got away with it. He had to hide in the ladies' room, but it was unlikely any girls would be -

A scream.

He turned around to see a younger girl with a frightened look on her face. He threw up his arms in front of him and tried to calm her down but to no avail. She started crying out for help and he did the next best thing: he opened the door behind him and ran out.

Only to see the teacher from earlier staring at him.

"I thought you looked like a boy. Come on you pervert, we're going to the headmistress's office."

Oh dear. "Apologies, good sir." He said, bowing formally. "But I just realized that I am going to be late for a prior engagement. I bid you good day." Then he booked it down the hall.

"Hey! Get back here you little-" The teacher sighed. "Damn kids." He wouldn't get away with it for long.

Most certainly not.
