As soon as the woman's unhinged jaws came down on him, Lux raised his hand in defense and let a blast of light shoot in the direction of her face. He didn't want it to be too harmful, not wanting to hurt her. "I don't want to harm you in any way. If you just let me go, I will leave you be." Still, he kept a calm tone in his voice.

Lux was still encircled by Nasci but he wondered if he shot off the ground fast enough, he may be able to free himself. He decided to give her a second chance, though. Leora also noticed the commotion, circling above them, waiting to see if any more come of it.

OOC: I am so sorry for leaving it this long

Just as she lunges, she is struck by a ball of concussive light knocks back her head recoiling her back a little. The moment's pause give Lux just enough time to shoot off the ground to escape her clutches but only just as her vile claws clamored barely managed to touch him. Failing to catch her prey, she slowly uncoils herself and looks up Lux still teasingly close that she could almost taste him.

"Oh but darling... if you wish not to hurt me why don't you come back down and lay kindly on the dirt fu fu fu? You might wish to leave but I am afraid I am unwilling to part with you just yet..." mused Nasci, before her singly voice turns sours as she screeches "At least until I rip off a part of you!"

Nasci then raises her body as high as she is able, opening her maw unnaturally wide so that her wriggling tongue can attempt to lasso around Lux's leg before he can fly out of reach of her striking range.

Now was his chance. He left the ground and began to drift off from the monstrous woman when suddenly, a slithering serpent of a tongue coiled its way around his leg. The venomous screech from the woman struck fear inside him; fear he didn't have before and shouldn't have now.

Leora seized her chance and plummeted down, the claws of her eagle form outstretched as she drew closer to the woman. Her form glowed blindingly bright as she began to scratch at Nasci, hoping to at least divert the attention from her owner.

Lux also fought back, blasting two more concussive blasts and writhing to free himself from her grasps. He should have just shot off and not given her the opportunity - that was foolish of him. As much as he considered himself mature, he was still but a child.

While Nasci's tongue started to reel her prey slowly to cavernous maw, she was interrupted by small glowing eagel clawing at her.

"Grrraak!" cried out Nasci as she swung her head violently to the annoying trying to distract from her true prize. As the bird continued to pester her, she snarled at the creature and whiplashed her head so that she could headbutt the bird that was offending her. She was unable to savor the results of her impact against Leona as she was strike by two blast of concussive light.

The first ball smacked straight at her face and caused to her stagger back a few paces. The second ball struck her square in the mouth, forcing her to jerk her head back and lose her grip on Lux who was now free the grasp of her tongue.

"HiisssssOOOOwwhaaaOOOOwhaaaaOOOOWWHHAAAAOOOOO-chit-chit-chit!" bellowed Nasci, enraged by Lux's defiance against her whims and glares him him with venom in her eyes.

"I am very sorry for doing that." In a way, Lux felt guilty for hurting her. He did not like injuring or insulting anyone, despite what they may have done to him. Of course, he found Nasci's behaivour very rude and feral, not the way he was brought up to act, though he did not know anything about the woman. For all he knew, a tragic backstory may have shaped her into the beast she was today.

He floated there for a moment, returning her gaze, though no hatred was present in his eyes. "I would advise not to behaive in such a manner when first encountering a person. I regret to say that it was not too plesent to meet your acqaintance." Lux thought it would be best to leave her be. In a burst of light, he shot off into the night sky. Leora, her shape now returning to her natural sphere of light, raced off behind him.
