I wonder why he's always so quiet in class all the time, since he seems like a smart kid. It'd be nice to get to know him, but I don't try to get all personal with my students. They aren't my friends or my children, so I don't really have the right to make them say anything to me. Demand respect from them? Of course. But demand friendship? I don't even want that. So I guess we'll just see what happens."

I don't know why, but he just creeps me out. He's weird. I feel bad for judging him, but something in my gut just tells me to not get involved with this guy.
