Ah, wasn't this romantic? Parrasse had heard of Founder's Day and it's fireworks from the constant chatter in her classes. Though she felt obligated to go and celebrate, the thought of going with someone else excited her. Yes, there had been many times that her and her grandmother would watch the fireworks from the roof of their house, but this seemed very different. No more did she have to worry about the small talk that her dearest family member brought up, but rather, she could have a loving night under the stars with her boyfriend.
He was a busy little thing most of the time, so that was why Parrasse had not so subtly dropped hints about this night for the past few weeks. By not so subtly, she literally said to him how awesome it would be to go. The girl had then eagerly texted him yesterday with the confirmation that they were indeed going together. The werewolf asked the kitsune to meet her on the beach, just to the right of the pier. Though even then, Parrasse's nerves were on high alert. Having to actually ask someone out to something so very special and commemorative was just a tad out of her comfort zone. Then again, she had to try it before she could knock it.
She was laying on her back, with her hands on her abdomen, looking up at the sky. Thankfully, there was a navy blue blanket under her, as well as her beach bag to the right on the sand. If he were to show up, there would be a surprise waiting in the bag, as it was roughly their 6 month anniversary. The girl took a long and shaky breath in and out, as the last thing she wanted was to be stood up by the first person she really cared about.
