Ah, wasn't this romantic? Parrasse had heard of Founder's Day and it's fireworks from the constant chatter in her classes. Though she felt obligated to go and celebrate, the thought of going with someone else excited her. Yes, there had been many times that her and her grandmother would watch the fireworks from the roof of their house, but this seemed very different. No more did she have to worry about the small talk that her dearest family member brought up, but rather, she could have a loving night under the stars with her boyfriend.

He was a busy little thing most of the time, so that was why Parrasse had not so subtly dropped hints about this night for the past few weeks. By not so subtly, she literally said to him how awesome it would be to go. The girl had then eagerly texted him yesterday with the confirmation that they were indeed going together. The werewolf asked the kitsune to meet her on the beach, just to the right of the pier. Though even then, Parrasse's nerves were on high alert. Having to actually ask someone out to something so very special and commemorative was just a tad out of her comfort zone. Then again, she had to try it before she could knock it.

She was laying on her back, with her hands on her abdomen, looking up at the sky. Thankfully, there was a navy blue blanket under her, as well as her beach bag to the right on the sand. If he were to show up, there would be a surprise waiting in the bag, as it was roughly their 6 month anniversary. The girl took a long and shaky breath in and out, as the last thing she wanted was to be stood up by the first person she really cared about.

Ah! A night of partying and fireworks! How could Rhydian have passed that up? And with a beautiful girl, too. He was a jokester at heart, and totally out of the social norm to how things needed to be done. Hell, he was an Australian Kitsune, which in and of itself.

Was Rhydian nervous about their date? Why would he be, they had been on plenty of dates before, and this one was no different. Yes, he was aware it was their sixth month anniversary, but that wasn't a huge feat.

He trotted up in his Kitsune form, all nine tails swaying behind him. He moved like an oil painting come to life, too graceful, too smooth, otherworldly.

"Pear-she-said!" He called as he stopped near her. "Pear!" He canted his head, one ear flopping casually to the side as his tongue rolled out the side of his mouth in a comical fashion.

"I was hoping we were going to run and howl along the beachside, honestly. What's in the bag?"

Ah finally! Her eyes lit up like the fireworks that they wanted to watch, all gleaming with hope and happiness. It was going to be a good night for sure, but it would of course all start with his arrival to the beach. His kitsune form was the most adorable thing ever to her, as if she has her own little fox companion; which in a was wasn't wrong. When her nickname was called, the girl rolled her eyes to the stupidness of it. "That still makes no sense to me!" She giggled coyly, wanting to come off as calm as she could be.

Parrasse's heart was racing nonetheless, like some time bomb that was bound to go off. "AH no, it seemed that I was able to keep my body for tonight. Though, I can still do a pretty badass howl from this form." She started to give a little hoot before she remembered to reply to his question. "Ah, you know, some date things?" It was easy to tell when she was hiding something, which only made her lies transparent.
