In reality, there were but some twisted abomination of meat and leaf. However here, within dreams, they took on the avatar of their most idealized self. Here Pallavi saw herself now as the monster that she is but as beautiful and somewhat more mature version of herself. In here her humanoid portions a young Indian girl whom looked slightly more mature than they do in reality. Her eyes are but a deep, chocolate brown and the burns that mar their skin are not present. Her entire body is draped in vast robed cloak of finest silk with wondrous hue's of blues and gold. The garments themselves stretch nearly 40 feet in length and hides whatever features are below her waist.

Through the course of the night, Pallavi wormed their way into the dreams of the others as they but rested. Peering into the these dreams have always been a highlight of her's as within dreams they had a lot more control in their life. Often times the dreamer was unaware of her presence and in the few times they were, it was usual a cordial affair. Some people thought that her entering other people's dreams as an invasion of their privacy... and maybe it was but they never saw it ever being harmful so long as they didn't linger too long. That and she was sure that any encounters within the dreams were usually forgotten anyway.

After spending some time being amused of dream with a dog chasing squirrel within vast green lawn, Pallavi moved onto another dream and this time was greeted with an empty space save for a single door standing like a monolith in its center. Curious, Pallavi moves towards the door and studies the playful of motif of young girl roughly her own age. Staring at them... part of her almost though she was seeing herself in these images if she was born with legs instead of a tail. Now invested, Pallavi waves her arm to open the door, but much to her own surprise, the door did not budge. Again she waves and again nothing transpired. Normally they had much better control while in a dream so for the door to not obey meant... something was amiss... that the dreamer behind that door was no ordinary dreamer.

Part of her wondered if she should just move on but decided that they should at least try to open the door with their hands. Pushing with one hand, the door easily slide open to reveal a vast, surreal dreamscape now laid bare before her! While there were many dreams that have left her impressed, this dream truly left her awestruck. Once past the door, they flew flew into the sky to further appreciate the world they were now in. As they flew through the sky, down below they would like like a blue banner soaring in the heavens.

Lycia didn't really look all that different than she did in real life, mostly because she was pretty happy with her own body. Things usually shifted and changed throughout the dream but for the moment Lycia was herself. Except of course for her eyes being shining blue instead of her clouded over real eyes. In the dream she wasn't blinded, but she also couldn't see souls.

She was barefoot and running across a vast field of green grasses, enjoying the feeling of the healthy plants against her feet. Grass was an amazing thing that someone had brought into her dreams and she took a liking to it.

A distance away sat a wagon piled high with what looked like brightly colored soft pillows. Lycia had been running full speed towards it, giggling in glee, but then the passing of a figure up in the sky drew a shadow across the ground and she stopped to look up. A long river of fabric drifted through the clouds above and it drew her curiosity.

She stood there staring up at the unusual figure. Her short dress shifting and blowing a bit in the minor breeze. Had she known for sure it was a person she would have tried calling out to them but they were too far away at the moment.

Pallavi looked all around herself to the dreamscrape, below they can see a green field of rolling grasses. The only anomaly they could spot was some... colorful cart of sort? From their height it was difficult to tell as she squinted. To get a better look, they held out one of their hands as a spyglass suddenly materialized in her palm. With it they could see the colorful pillows piled high on top of the of an isolated wagon. Pallavi couldn't help but think how soft they look and fancied the idea of falling asleep within the dream. As the mused the idea of dream within a dream in their head, with their spyglass they noticed something else, or rather someone else, that they had failed to notice earlier.

It took a moment to put together that the person looked just like the figure they had seen on the doorway from earlier and that they seemed to be... calling out to her? If this was the owner of the dream then it was seem that were aware enough of Pallavi to notice her. Usually she would try to not to directly bother the dreamer but as they were obviously found out... it would be rude of her to not say hi right? So Pallavi made the commitment to descended back down to earth, making her way to the girl until she was but hovering above her.

"Uhh... hello there! I guess you found me... sorry if I was interrupting you." greeted Pallavi as she falls slowly to the ground just in front of the girl. As she descends, the 40 foot long robe falls flat into a perfect circle around Lycia. Pallavi looks to the girl warmly though a little embarrassed for being notice.

The river of flowing fabric turned out to be a person. A girl in a long, pretty silk cloak that was landing in a circle around her. It was beautiful.

"Hello," she chirped happily in greeting. Completely unconcerned about being surrounded by the massive amount of silk. In fact she bounced her way over closer to Pallavi and gave her a huge happy smile. "No, it is fun to meet the dreamers who visit me here." And it was a completely honest statement. Everyone who visited brought with them new things to explore and adventures to have.

"I was not doing anything important anyway," she giggled as she pointed at the cart in the distance. "I was just going to jump into the pillows." With that her giggling increased. Apparently she was having a grand old time here in her dream. As they spoke though a small herd of what looked a little like desert-based bovine or yak-like creatures started gathering outside of Pallavi's impromptu circle. They were simply grazing on the grass at the moment and didn't seem hostile at all. In fact they looked pretty gentle.

"Oh, I'm called Lycia and welcome to the Dream," Lycia said as she stopped giggling and returned to the conversation.

"Oh? You mean... your used to people people entering your dreams?" piped up Pallavi, curious as to how it was other dreamers seem to have found themselves here. "Well we could perhaps still do that... the pillows do seem really comfy~"

Just as they said that several cow, or at least cow-like creatures, begin to surround them but seem concerned with only causally mow the green grasses all around them. As one of the cows neared her, Pallavi reached out her hand to pet the creature's back. As Lycia introduced herself to her, Pallavi looked to her and smiled warmly.

"Thank you Lycia, for welcoming me. My name is Pallavi and... and its nice to meet you."

She nodded emphatically a she confirmed it, "everyone is invited to the Dream. I put up... the wall papers in the Community Center to tell everyone." Unfortunately even in the dream her translation was a little bit off in a similar manner to how it worked while using her language charm in the real world. But for the most part the subconscious connection that made the dream was able to convey things just as well. Just as in a normal dream people tended to comprehend things and not quite have a legitimate reason for being able to.

"Yes! We can both jump in the pillows," she agreed and probably would have resumed her run towards the wagon but the animals had appeared around them and she was distracted by the great gentle beasts.

The animal that Pallavi reached out to flicked its very short tail and slowly turned to look at her with big soft brown eyes. The sound it made was the most easily described as a sort of purring moo from deep within its throat. A pleased sound, and it moved closer still.

Lycia watched the interaction, her face all smiles. "It is pleasant to have met you too Pallavi. These are the Natau- they are soft and nice to-," the girl began to explain but was cut short with a tiny noise of surprise as a smaller Natau calf bumped her snout into Lycia from behind. Realizing what it was, Lycia's grin returned and she began rubbing the younger creature along the sides of her snout. Her fingers dug pretty deep into the fur but the animal seemed to enjoy it rather than be upset.

After that she buried her face in the top of the calf's snout and gave it a kiss. Apparently she was really fond of these creatures, and any friendly affection the animals were receiving was returned in kind.

"The... Dream? Is that what you call this place?" asked a puzzled Pallavi. They were aware that they were both within a dream but Lycia seems not aware aware of their dream but... also refers as though a place. While each dream was always something unique, here it felt more like... a living breathing world. Lycia seemed used to bringing people within this dreamland though Pallavi couldn't help but feel like an uninvited guest that accidentally found their way to a party.

While lost in thought, she sudden found herself staring into the eyes of gentle beast they had been petting as mooing in satisfaction. Such a gesture made Pallavi smile and continue to pet the creature as it nudged closer to her.

"Natau you call them? They are so soft and... kind. Are they friends of yours?" questioned Pallavi as they looked to Lycia, bemused as they seem to be busy with a join calf showing affections for her.

Lycia looked over as she petted and cuddled the face of the calf to nod at Pallavi again. "Yes, I call this world the Dream. I make it when I sleep," she explained in her still very much cheery voice. As she turned her attention away from the calf it apparently decided that wasn't right so a long tongue came out to slurp against the girl's cheek.

Giggling she went back to scruffing up the calf's fur, not bothered by the wet lick mark along her face. "I do not think friends is the right word. I loved to sneak away to play with them at home. They are goofy and silly and gentle if you are kind to them," The girl replied as she played with the young one. As she petted it though she was clearly being careful not to go near the calf's eyes and she was keeping her movements pretty slow and easy so as not to spook it.

"What about you Pallavi, do you have something you like to see in your dreams?" It was a pretty open-ended question but she really liked to hear the answers. Not the least because often a dreamer accidentally made whatever they were talking about happen.

"Oh! Uhh..." Pallavi paused to think as this was a challenging question. In her case, she was used to making all sorts of things within her own sort of dream world. Her first thoughts dwelt on castles floating in the sky, or forest filled with kind inhabitants, but as thought more thoroughly there was one thing that only dreams she can still find.

"Yeah, there is something I would like to see." answered Pallavi as drifts away from the Natau. As she gives herself space she looks to empty space of grass in front of her and strikes a thinking pose.

"I would... like to see my parents again." stated Pallavi and with a flick of finger a round table made entirely of stone raises through the soil. Though the table was not as she imagine, she was still happy to appear in front of her eyes nevertheless.

"My dad, he would be sitting over there, reading his newspaper with his favorite pipe in mouth." spoke up Pallavi while recalling the warm memories of her father. While looking back to the past with fondness a stone replica of her dad, a swarthy and handsome mustached English bloke whom like as though he came from some archaeological expedition, appears on one end of the table reading thin stone sheet and a rock pipe in his lip. With an affirmative nod, Pallavi looked to the other side of the table.

"My mother... she would sit on the other end. She was always so beautiful in her silks." explained Pallavi as stone sculpture of her mother, whom looks near identical to Pallavi save learning much older and having an obvious snake-like tail that coils around the stone chair they were seated on. The motherly figure its opposite the stone father, her sculpture would seem calm and composed as it staring longingly to man that she loved with a stony gaze. Content with their creation, Pallavi slips on over to the empty spot of the table between these idols.

"And... and I would be sitting right here between them! A-asking them all about how my day at school was and tell them all about what I learned and how all of my friends where doing! And... and everything would be perfect... and happy." elated Pallavi, before hanging her head and sighed "Thats... what I would like to see in my dreams but... n-nothing I do or try can recreate that moment as I remember it..."

After a somber reflection, Pallavi looked to Lycia, looking a bit embarrassed.

"Oh... errr... especailly here. Its harder for me to make things as I imagine them in this dream. Its like... clay that has become too stiff..." tried to explain Pallavi as they looked between their stone parents. "I... can't seem to get those lifelike details in this dream as I can in others."

Lycia leaned her body against the happy little Natau calf as she listened with rapt attention to Pallavi. She was going to share something really meaningful!

And then the girl revealed that all she really wanted was to see her family again. That was... kind of depressing actually. The poor girl. Lycia had her own circumstances surrounding her family, namely that she had been sent to another dimension or something and might never see them again, but this was more than that. She wished she could have just snapped her fingers and produced lifelike versions of Pallavi's parents. But having never met them she was not able to create them in the dream. Only Pallavi could create them.. and apparently she wasn't able to do it.

"Zeke said something similar I think. You can not have full control because I make the dream world happen. But you can do some stuff if you try hard," she offered with a smile. Lycia wasn't bothered by others affecting or manipulating the dream as long as they didn't try to stop it or end it.

Lycia gave the calf a friendly pat on the head and skipped over to Pallavi to try wrapping her in a hug. Then she glanced at the statues respectfully. "They look beautiful to me. Can you... tell me more about them maybe?" Lycia's curiosity was mostly rooted in learning about who these clay statues were in real life. But what she wasn't fully aware of was is that dreams had a funny way of working their magic using your subconscious. Even in the Dream Lycia, if she was sleeping rather than meditating, couldn't just make anything she wanted happen. But if deep down she really wanted something cute to cuddle her subconscious might send a certain randomly places herd of lovable creatures. Maybe that would work for Pallavi too somewhat?
