Willow was more or less in the mist of hunting smaller game.. Each step was one more that was closer her end goal. Each moment that past. Each beating of her heart. Just as Willow was going to lunge for the rabbit in her line of sight a scent hit her nose fully.

Cocking her head in the direction that it came from the black wolf walked over to it, slowly at first and then breaking into a full run. Only stopping once the source of the scent was in her sights.. Just as she had thought. A small pup. Alone? But.. Where was the pups mother? Father? Pack?

Ears falling flat against her skull and her teeth bared.. How dare they leave a pup unattended! Shaking her head a bit Willow took a deep breath in and then let one out.. It was the only thing that she could do in order to calm herself down. Closing the distance between herself and the pup, only stopping ten or so feet away.. This would allow the pup to make her own choice as to what she would be doing from there on out.

The girl asked if she was ok.. The question of the matter was if the girl herself was already. It made her wonder if she was alright being alone the way she was. It made willow question many things, like were her parents were and where she was staying. The thought of the girl being alone made her growl mentally. Allowing the child to make the moves here.. Unorthodox yes.. But it was safe.

'Wolf is safe. Yes. My name is Willow.'

She responded softly in the language that they shared.. It was that of the weres, a speak spoken mainly in growls, yips, and barks. Cute yes from time to time but it was a language that one never truly learns to speak but it is a a language that one is born knowing.

Willow nodded at hearing the child's name, anger flared within her as she looked at the abandoned pup. Was no one capable of keeping an eye on a small pup? Was it as a whole impossible? It was unknown to her at this point. Regardless her anger was placed neither here nor there.

Laying down on her side let Cana touch her silken fur, kept wonderfully silky soft with a few tangles here and there. If this pup was alone in this world then Willow would be there. She would keep a close guard on her. While not having children she did want them almost more than anything.

"Where are your parents little one? Who takes care of you?"

Looking up to Cana Willow nuzzled the small child. Allowing a brief moment to lick the little ones cheeks Willow knew that she was going to take care of this little one as much as she could until that she couldn't anymore. Willow wished that she could take Cana back to Cappy-Person's place but that would be difficult for her to do so.. Given that he was a little awkward with her.. It would be hard for her to bring another little one with her.

'Shh, I will take care of you little one as much as I can.'
