"Cant you just expel me like a normal teacher instead of this your not getting anything out of me so dont bother trying."

Did he want to be expelled? For a moment, she wondered if he was doing this just to get out of this school, then remembered that he had said he had been doing this for six years. Plus, he had just said she wouldn't get anything out of him. Maria sighed inwardly, and shook her head. "I'm not going to expel you," she said. Why would she? The boy needed help, not to be kicked out of a place where he could actually get it. "And even if I won't get anything out of you, I'm still going to try, even it turns out being a waste of time."

"STOP IT!!! He doesn't want to tell you, he won't tell anyone. I think this is enough Miss Headmistress, he doesn't need another person to try what others have. I know you want to help him but even I don't know his reason."

The Headmistress turned her gaze to the little girl. Well, it was obvious that he didn't want to tell her. She didn't think that it was enough, seeing as she still hadn't gotten all the answers she wanted. Besides, what kind of a Headmistress would she be if she just let the child go without helping him, and never bothered him again? Not a very good one, in her opinion. She didn't know what the girl meant by 'even I don't know his reason', since she didn't know about her feelings for him.

But, if she did let them leave, that didn't mean she still couldn't get answers. She could still ask other people; teachers, other students, anyone. Maybe that way she could get answers and try to help without the boy knowing. But if that didn't work, she would find another way; she was determined to help him. She was silent for a while, biting her lip, thinking of whether or not she should let them leave her office or not.

She finally came to a decision. "Listen... I know neither of you want to be here, and that he probably doesn't need so many people trying to help him, but he does need the help, whether he wants it or not. I wouldn't be much of a Headmistress if I let you go and never tried to help again, now would I?" she said quietly, and looked back at the boy. "But, I suppose you do have a choice. Either you can tell me what's going on and why you drink and such privately here in my office, now or some other time, whichever you prefer. Or, I could just have someone follow you wherever you go, just to make sure you don't drink or smoke too much until you finally aren't allowed to do it at all. There are a few other things I could do, but I won't mention them right now. It's up to you." She shrugged her shoulders.

Sonlath looked at her angrily, "You'd get a lot of people wind up dead if you had them follow me." He said eyeing her his fingers tapped on the chair arm he was sitting him as his eyes scanned to Moria and shook his head at what she said...

She looked down... She had let down Sonlath, and now thanks to the headmistress he'd probably hate her and leave. She hated this day, she wished she just had died. It was her fault he was caught, she shouldn't have fell asleep in his arms. She should've just stayed mad at him and didn't let him help her. She shouldn't have even let him save her from drowning. As it was she had no true friends and no reason to live. Why put up with this all, if she was only going to lose the one person she felt happy with.

Maria ignored the angry look he had given her. Oh, great; so he drank, and he was threatening to murder anyone that tried to help him? This was turning out to be really fun to take care of. She sighed, and narrowed her eyes a bit. "I don't exactly think that's true," she said. "And saying you're going to murder someone isn't exactly the best thing to tell someone. But you still have that other choice, telling me why you drink and all." She shrugged her shoulders. She doubted he would tell her, but those were the only options she was going to give him.

Moria looked at the headmistress and Sonlath upset and sick of this all. Sick of the acheing feeling inside that she'd be left alone she wanted to go but remembered her promise to Sonlath. She looked down again she didn't know if she could keep her promise. Not to mention try not to turn teary eyed in presence of the headmistress. She closed her eyes tightly she wondered how to make this whole thing stop. She didn't want her life falling apart, she had just built it up and now it all could crumble down to nothing but... She felt a lone tear fall down her cheek her eyes staying clear and white just one tear could show her sadness.

She was surprised, he didn't do what she thought he would. She thought he'd tell her that she was wrong and a lot of other mean rotten things. She wanted to hug him close and thank him but knew that'd embarass him to death. She nodded waiting for him to walk out the door so she could follow.

Maria noticed the girl look down, and could see the tear go down her cheek. Oh, boy. Now she had the boy who didn't listen, and the girl that was upset. Not that this annoyed her, or anything; she just felt like she couldn't deal with both of them at once and have two conversations. She sighed inwardly, and was about to say something to the little girl to try and comfort her when the boy got up and walked to the door with her. She hoped he didn't think he could just leave.

She focused, and managed to put a force-field up on the other side of the door, which acted as a second one. It would probably only last for about five minutes, though. She suddenly smiled at the two. "Then I take it you'll be coming back to see me privately so we can discuss your drinking?" she asked the boy, though it was more of a telling tone of voice rather than an asking one. "Because if you don't, I'll just come and find you and drag you down here." She folded her arms over her chest and walked over toward the door where the two children were, looking at both of them.

Sonlath wished he had paper...he just thought about lying he was terrible at it normally...and he doubted now would be any diffrent...he gritted his teeth and knowing if he had to fight he would...he looked at the force field and around the room still not answering her.

Moria spoke up slowly. "You do realize it's stupid to force someone to do something they won't do. It doesn't matter if your the greatest person in the world, if your forcing someone there's not a way they will do it. You only try anger like with the Americans and the tax on tea. They didn't like it, so they fought back. History only repeats itself like a broken record. Only some things can be broken but like a broken ankle they must be broken the right way if it's set wrong. You got to be gentle." She said this as if she was a wise old man telling it to his peers. She had learned a lot, girls' prison wasn't the nicest place to go but it told how to break people of habits. She got beat up a lot, she knew.
