Iaemor swerved in the air as the ball of fire flee by him. Spinning in the the air to face the threat and letting his path decend. Landing on a nearby flat roof. It was clear that simply fleeing wasn't going to be an option. Carefully placing Maya onto the ground, he stepped over her in order to place himself between Maya and the other demon. Iaemor tried to keep his anger in check. He knew that if he didn't he would be in trouble. Just as him and Maya fed off lust, wrath demons did aggression. It was what had made them such a terrible force.

"Fine if this is how you are going to force things." Iaemor calmly said trying to not rise to the other insults. Pulling out his phone he called for the emergency services but dropped the phone behind him into Maya lap. "I need an ambulance." He said loud enough so that he would be heard on the other side of the line. Seemingly ignoring the wrath assasin but standing vigilently to protect Maya. He hoped that they could find his location simply from his phone.

The assassin dropped on the same rooftop, grinning smugly as another spell charged in the hand that held the blade. He watched the demoness curl up in pain, bleeding out. A shame it was to not hear her scream.

Oh wait.

"Calling for help I see. Well, let me help them find us. Not that they can save you or your sister." The blade flared up and so did the demoness' wounds. Maya cried out loud as the pain increased. "There we go. Someone should be able to point out where we are now," he said, making the blade dim again.

Maya was taking quick and shallow breaths. She was salivating from the pain, her tears flowing.

"Come on, lust king. I need your heads for my lord. Why don't you surrender and I won't have to make your sister suffer so much?" The assassin started to circle the two, smirking as he watched Maya writhe.

Iaenor forced himself to ignore the other demon's as best he could. He couldn't allow anger to overcome him but it was hard to control himself. Circling as the wrath demon did he then suddenly leaped forward towards him. Charging him quickly bringing up his right claw and starting to swing out as if aimed to slash his face up. However while Iaemor was fast and powerful he was also tricky and with the finally step of his charge let his body basically fall forward beating his wings hard so the he wouldn't hit the ground but went from standing to pretty much laying face down as his hand finally followed through with its swing.

His plan was to not to just attempt to do direct damage. He knew that the other demon was unlikely to fall that easily but what he could do was try and fight smart. The attack would change into a grab of the lower leg and spinning in the air Iaemor would try to throw the demon across the roof top before rolling back to his feet. Creating distance between the demon and Maya in order to protect her was his priority.

"Iaemor... don't..." Maya begged quietly through grit teeth. He had to run away, she thought. Maya believed she was a goner. She could feel the poison eating her up. She felt the incontrollable impulses inside her. Kind of like when she was sick in March, when that disease made her lose control of her shape-shifting powers. She had to keep herself together though. If she let it force her to change, it might make it spread faster.

She looked at him fighting and she couldn't help but look at the dagger in the demon's hand. If Iaemor got hurt with that...

As he made his first swing, the assassin hopped back, thinking that Iaemor was going for a simple swipe, but as he was in mid air, he had no way of stopping Iaemor from grabbing him and subsequently tossing him right to the edge, bouncing twice on his way before he reoriented himself and slowed down by driving the blade into the roof.

"Going to stay and fight? Very well, we'll see how far you're willing to go."

Another surge of pain caused Maya to cry out. When the wave passed, it was hard to tell if she was sobbing or just having trouble breathing, but she did try to talk to Iaemor again. "Escape... leave me... Iaemor..."

"I like a hunt. You should run, I'll even give you a few days. Meanwhile, I'll just have more fun with your sister. Hell, I'll take her back home and put her on display. She'd be well fed, I assure you, heh. If she survives the beatings."

Iaemor scowled to himself but was glad that he had managed to drive back the other demon, however that wasn't enough. Until Maya was safe he knew that this wasn't over. The scowl though didn't remain just to himself as the wrath demon started taunting him once more. Grotting his teeth he could hear Maya behind him impliribg him to escape. "I am not going to leave you sister." He said aloud but didn't turn to fave her instead keeping his eyes on his foe. He couldn't risk exposing himself after all. He knew that if he got hurt it was all over his gaze focusing on the knife. "And you will regret your actions and words this day." Iaemor informed the demon.

He knew that simply attacking head on wasn't smart, the extra room he had made was useful but after that first fient the demon was more likely to be on guard and that knife if it got him would be bad. Iaemor knew his armoured arms could take a blow from it but even a nick elsewhere could put him out of the fight. "I am not running so either come or flee." Iaemor said crouching and slamming one of his claws into the roof. A plan forming in his mind. "I will save you sis." This time he spoke to himself in whispered words praying that medical aid wasn't to far from arriving.

Maya curled into a ball, the pain now gravitating to her stomach. She attempted to push herself up. She needed to do something. Anything! Iaemor had to survive this. The poison may have already crippled her permanently, so the best thing to hope for was that Iaemor could escape. Her clone... her clone might be able to help.

'Concentrate.'

"With pleasure." The assassin kicked himself forward, dagger gripped in reverse. His initial attack was a swift punching motion where the blade was meant to impact first. Then, with practiced precision, he changed the grip and did a second swing at Iaemor.

Seeing a bit of movement, he fired off a ball of energy that hit Maya's mirror image in the shoulder. The effects were devastating. In addition to severing an arm, the dismembered limb melted into a jelly-like goo. The mirror image laid on the ground, in shock.

Smirking, the assassin charged up another spell and fired it at Iaemor's feet, not intending to hit him yet, but a misstep from Iaemor would cost him.

Iaemor was ready when the demon charged, leaping back away from the first swing of the knife while ripping up a section of the roof into his hand. The same action that brough his arm up blocking the following swing, filling the air with a not quite metalic scraping noise as the blade slashed along the armour of his arm. He back up further still trying to create room for the last part of his plan only to be taken off guard by what happened. The demon raised an arm to fire out a ball of flames only it wasn't aimed at him.

Turning to look he saw the two version of Maya, one were she laid before and another moving closer only for the attack to take her down. It wasn't any simple blow either, blowing her arm aside. He knew that it was the copy that had been struck but copy or not it was still his sister. "Maya!" He screamed, anger couldn't be held back but he was not so rage blinded to not see the demon reaim from the corner of his eye. Turning back to face his foe, Iaemor leaped upwards and forwards. Lashing his arm out, the piece of rubble in his hand was throw like a bullet at the other demon. Much like the fireball not aimed to do damage.

It was aimed for the hand, or more accurately the dagger. In a hope to send the serverly dangerous weapon clattering out of reach. So that as Iaemor fell from the sky his second hand balled into a fist. He wouldn't be at risk from the blade as he smashed downwards into the other demon with all he had and hopefully smashing them down into the building as well. An attempt to not just do as much damage as possible but continue to keep him away from Maya.

Seeing her clone's arm get turned to mush, she had a sudden realization when her mirror image couldn't reform it. It inhibited her power to shape shift. If she were to be struck by that spell, it could very well be the end of her.

She had a moment of relief when Iaemor dodged the spell and then threw the rubble, successfully knocking the dagger away, and heavily injuring the assassin's hand. The bones on the fingers would have been shattered if he was a lesser demon, but it still caused him a lot of pain. Seething with rage, he charged up another spell, but Iaemor had gotten to him first and he was taken to the floor below.

With the dagger out of the assassin's hand, the searing pain mellowed, allowing her to get to her knee. Her clone was still down, holding where her arm had been.

The assassin wasn't happy anymore. A shockwave burst forth, knocking any rubble that was on him away. "I'm done playing." He threw another deadly bolt of energy at the lust king and jumped through the hole in the ceiling. He was after Maya now, and to make sure Iaemor couldn't be too close to him when he got up to the rooftop again, he threw another ball at him.

But he was clearly heavily injured as he fell on his hands and knees when he did get up. But his hands were both glowing with the spell.

Iaemor smirked in satifaction when his attacks had worked as planned. Intending to jump down after the demon to keep the fight on the floors below. Only for the other demon to have other plans. Blowing away rubble and lashing out with another spell upwards. Iaemor only just managed to beat his wings and push himself away from the edge in time. The ball traveling up right in front of his faces, as he did so.

Iaemor was not shocked when the wrath demon followed soon after. Leaping back up through the hole Iaemor had created and landing on the ground. In a seemingly weakened state but still hands glowing with magic. Iaemor didn't take that oppotunity to attack again though. Too worried that the demon was getting smart and that the weakened state was a bluff to make him lower his guard. Backing off, Iaemor hovered in the air just off the the side of Maya seriously injuried clone and in the path towards the real Maya. As had aways been the intention protecting his sister came first and the clone was just as much his sister.

The assassin got to his feet, hands engulfed in crackling flames. "DIE!!!" he screamed, joining his hands together. Then came a thunderous roar as he fired the the ball at Iaemor, knowing that it was either he took it head on, killing himself, or dodging it, leaving her sister on the path. There wasn't enough time for them both to escape, especially since Maya was so weak.

"Run!!!" both Mayas shouted at Iaemor. But not waiting for any sort of response, Maya's clone ran towards him and shouldered him out of the way, taking the hit squarely on her back. She was launched towards Maya, but before she could hit the floor, she was turned into a translucent, jelly-like substance, splashing across the rooftop. Maya saw the look in her clone's face just before it turned to jelly. She was at peace. Clones were disposable, but Maya saw what could have happened if she took that hit. That was what she would have done.

The assassin fell to a knee, breathing heavily. "Damn it!"
