The first date (Lyra)

It had been a good few days since Katsuo's first encounter with Lyra; incidentally, that was also the day he asked out to dinner. The day after that, he had contacted her with the details of the place, making note of their semi-formal dress code at dinner hours.

The place he had chosen was a fine restaurant in Manta Carlos City, by the name of The Gilded Obsidian. Their menu had a wide range of choices, meaning that they would both be sure to find something they liked.

The night had finally come, and Katsuo picked her up from her dorm at 7 pm wearing a silver dress shirt with jeans designed to look more like formal suit pants than jeans. Having plenty of access to his family's money, he arranged to do it all in a limousine, which took them to the place.

((Lyra's Dress))

Lyra had been anxious for this night since the last time her and Katsuo spoke. Her head was in the clouds all week--daydreaming about every possible scenario. Before he had come to pick her up, she straightened her hair to make it look shiny and graceful. She picked out a maroon evening gown from her closet, and some black heels to match. Last but not least, she picked up a small black necklace that's pendant was a shimmery oblong crystal and put it on. It matched nicely, and was more elegant than her normal necklace.

She felt an excited and nervous mixture of feelings in her stomach. She tried her beset to stay calm until Katsuo arrived. Surprisingly, he showed up outside of her dorm and said he had a limo arranged for them. Lyra had no idea it was going to be so fancy. He looked dashing in his attire, and she smiled at him as she greeted him when she walked outside. Her hair fluttered softly in the evening breeze. It was a little longer now because of how straight it was. A few bangs of hair slid in front of her eyes, as she blinked slowly, and walked with him to their ride. Her heart was racing.

"Alright then, I guess we'll be off?" Lyra asked enthusiastically. She didn't know how the restaurant would be but it didn't matter because all she really had been waiting for was to spend more time with Katsuo.

When they arrived at the place--they walked in together and he gave the hostess their party's name. Katsuo didn't seem as nervous as her, but maybe it's because he knows what he's doing. Well, that's what she thought at least. A minute later, they were lead to their table, and the night officially began!

The two were lead to their table after he told their party's name to the hostess. It was located indoors, right next to a mirror on the wall. They were shortly given a menu each before being left on their own to start their night.

While you wouldn't have been able to tell from his facial expressions and body language, Katsuo was nervous throughout the whole process. He'd been at fancy restaurants his whole life, but the circumstances were so different back then. He'd taken friends out to dinner a lot, but this time, he was on an actual date. What his face couldn't hide, however, was his excitement. He wouldn't be able to wipe his smile off his face if he tried to. And he certainly wanted to spend more time with Lyra.

"Have you been here before? This place has an amazing menu." Lyra was looking especially beautiful in her attire, and his face flushed softly in response.
